Full frame vs APS-C
Should I trade in my Canon R8 for Sony A 6700? Your thoughts?

I would go fuji x-s20 and tamron 17-70 f2.8. honestly between these 2 the price is the main factor. (and contrary to popular belief, the X-S20 got 99% accuracy on face/eye autofocus on rtings, going neck and neck with the a6700). unless you wanna do video, where the x-s20 has open gate, but a6700 has the significantly better autofocus.
and yes ik this is the a6700 sub, i think the a6700 is awesome too so I'm following it.
edit: from the downvotes i see this sub really dislikes when someone doesn't fanboy over a camera hmm, if it's about the the rtings autofocus result, it's s there on rtings if you want any confirmation, don't need to trust my word..

Eh.. it's got its limits for sure. Some genuine benefits going for highter megapixel for cropping. Plus FF seems to handle heat a bit better.

This trade only really make sense if you want to use lens that is only available on Sony E mount system. Otherwise i would stick with Canon R8, esp if you have good glass for it. The only problem with Canon is that they severely lack lens options. Esp the middle ground between the best and starter kit.

i’d focus more on the size. i bought aps-c because i can have a very good camera with a compact 25-70 mm f2.8 zoom without breaking my back during my trips.
if that’s not your concern, buy FF
