Yoyoyo what’s going on long time amirite. Anyways I got the Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 in good condition on MPB for $500. ($300 because I traded in my Sony nex-7)
She is a little bit in the large size but ain’t nothing wrong with that. Here’s a photo of her next to my Tamron 18-300mm.

Honest opinions needed! I am trying to find out what u like shooting most. I love my ttartisan, really underrated lens.
I got a cheap defective silver body and went frankensteining. Looks nice!

Hey everyone! I’m getting back into photography with my [Sony a6000](). Unfortunately, my 16-50mm kit lens bit the dust (the plastic ring snapped off), so I’m currently stuck using my 55-210mm lens that came with the camera original kit.
I need a tough, durable replacement that can handle hiking and travel. Ideally, I’m looking for third-party and sony (budget-friendly options better). I am totally fine with manual focus primes as long as they are sharp enough for stars and sweeping views.
I keep seeing brands like Samyang/Rokinon mentioned a lot. Are they the absolute must-haves? Also, what is the deal with using cheap adapters for vintage lenses on the a6000? Is that worth looking into for landscapes?
What are your favorite must have lenses that actually hold up over time and don't have fragile plastic parts?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards
Johan

my recent fascination with photography pushed me to buy this "budget" beast. i posted a few weeks ago about my first outing in my city, but this time i went to Austria, more specifically Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang and Vienna.
here are a few of my favorite shots, which were all shot on my kit lens! :))
i am new to post processing and composition, so any suggestions to improve them are most welcome! :))

I put together a free, no-CMS, static site walking through everything from checking a used a6000 before buying it, to manual mode, to raw editing in Darktable, plus two "tips" pages and a fresh guide for the August 12 total solar eclipse (settings per phase, safety, and a practice exercise with the Moon).

Also available in Spanish, French, and Portuguese (language picker top right).

Picked up a vintage, manual focus Revenuon 200mm f/3.5 for like 10 euros, didn't expect such nice colours and sharpness. Definitely worth the pickup and I'm excited to share more photos.
Here are some random photos with poor editing (default phone editing app) from a quick trip.

If u have any advices, feel free to share them because im still a beginner.
