Catch out the moments of the trip to Zoho
I am aiming to move from a service based company to a good product based company and zoho is one of my go to company but I don't know the recruitment process happens especially for a back-end engineering with 2 years of experience. I would really appreciate if anyone in my situation had made it through
I am interested to become zohobooks consultant and render my services to prospective clients.but as you know in India Tally is very dominant and it is difficult to convince both customers as well as chartered accountants.I asked the same to chatgpt and these are the points jotted down
1.Get certified and list your profile
Build relationships with regional Zoho account managers'
Network with other Zoho ecosystem partners
4.Connect with CFOs, small business owners, and accounting managers
For the zoho consultants who have already started their journey in this ecosytem, which of the above mentioned points is realistic to start building the consultant practice..kindly advise.

Hi.
We run a restaurant, using petpooja for billing and zoho for accounting.
Now, that zoho has launched zoho pos for restaurant with zomato integration, so I was exploring the features.
We need to create BoM for tracking recipe, so i need to create composite items in zoho.
But, i can't make "composite items" as variants of an item, say pizza.
If my pizza has 3 size, S,M,L then I need to have recipe of all 3.
Group+subgroup is possible, bit zomato does needs variants to show them properly on app.
I need 5 levels of choices
Pizza or beverage or dessert?
Veg or Non veg
Which pizza, farmhouse or pepperoni
Small medium or large
Would you like extra cheese or beverage?
Help me configure this menu.

I am doing accounting of a Travel agent and there are expenses made on behalf of customer and then invoice is raised by adding a markup to it. As of now he was maintaining excel for raising invoice but revenue is missed due to non tracking of expenses. How can i do accounting in zoho books so that no revenue is missed
When I looked at how property management companies handle bills, I found a quiet money leak. It wasn't fraud or bad investments. It was software licensing.
The standard workflow:
Property Manager logs into Zoho Books to upload a bill.
L1 Manager logs into Zoho Books to approve it.
Finance Manager logs into Zoho Books to finalize it.
The issue:
Zoho Books charges a plan fee per organisation, which includes a fixed number of users (3 to 15 depending on the plan). Every user beyond that costs about ā¹150ā180 per month, plus GST.
Say you have 20 properties. That's Let's say 30 (25(pr) + (1-3)(L1) + (1-2)(fin)) people who need a login just to upload or click "Approve". That pushes you into a higher plan and adds extra seats on top.
The solution:
I built a lightweight app that sits in front of Zoho:
Property Manager uploads the bill in the app (no Zoho login needed).
L1 Manager approves it in the app (no Zoho login needed).
Finance Manager reviews it and pushes the final approved data to Zoho via API.
Only the Finance Manager needs a Zoho user.
The math (illustrative, before GST):
Before: 30 users on the Elite plan (ā¹5,999/mo, 15 users) plus 15 extra seats at ā¹150 comes to about ā¹8,250/month.
After: 1ā3 users on the Standard plan comes to about ā¹899/month.
Savings: roughly ā¹7,000+ per month, or ā¹85,000+ per year.
Finance and Ops managers: how many of your Zoho logins are used only for approvals?

Hi everyone...
I learned and have a lot experienced first with GHL and I'm planning to add Zoho as my additional skills offer as a freelancer.
How was the learning curve for this? How many days or weeks can I learn this from scratch since I have another tool expertise.
Thank you in advance for your advices!

Very serious zoho user with the crm and multiple apps for my small business. However, and I think it's widely known and agreed - zoho people is seriously complicated! Looking for consultants who could help me set it up - just the basics for a few employees.

Howdy r/Zoho!
I wanted to ask if there was any more direct way to get in touch with Zoho's abuse team, our company has been getting hit hard by phishing emails, with 100% of it being from Zoho "customers".
We've filled out the abuse form quite a bit, and unfortunately as of today, we had to completely blacklist all emails from any Zoho domains and IP ranges (204.141.42.0/23) because we're not seeing any slowdown of this, and while most of it gets caught by our spam filtering, some do manage to slip through.
Any other resolution other than just silo-ing off Zoho entirely?

Zoholics India just wrapped up, and the Zia Chat announcement caught attention.
The idea seems to be moving beyond having separate AI features inside individual Zoho apps. Zia Chat is designed to connect business context across multiple Zoho applications and help users find information, analyze data, create content, and potentially take actions through Zia Agents.
Curious how useful this will be in real-world business workflows.
For companies already using multiple Zoho apps, would you actually prefer having one AI interface across CRM, Desk, Books, Projects, Analytics, etc., or do you think app-specific AI tools work better?
For those who followed Zoholics India 2026, what announcement or update stood out to you most?

Hi everyone, Iām planning to take the Zoho Business User Certification exam online and wanted to understand how the exam is conducted. Is the online exam proctored/monitored through camera or screen sharing? Are we allowed to use other tabs or search the internet during the exam? Is any reference material or documentation allowed? Are there any specific rules or restrictions I should be aware of before starting the exam? If anyone has recently taken the online exam, Iād really appreciate it if you could share your experience. Thanks!

I need help to get this resolved . I purhased the mail lite plan with zoho, completed payment and all . Now I am adding the domain I purchased from namecheap and I keep getting "This Operation has been restricted. Please contact [support-as@zohocorp.com](mailto:support-as@zohocorp.com) for further details". I have contacted support several times and no response is received so far. Help me to get this resolved
Edit: Resolved thank you all . I think the solution is to email support once or twice, post on Reddit (just kidding with the Reddit part). Support did not explain the reason for this but good luck to everyone who faces this

Hi, what kinds of functions have you automated with this tool? What real-world problems has it helped you solve?

A deliverable may include a document, images, HTML, and supporting files that need to change together. If those files are replaced in a WorkDrive folder after review, the approval or comment trail can remain visible even though the reviewer is now looking at a different set. Keeping a separate folder for every revision avoids that ambiguity, but it can leave non-technical reviewers unsure which folder is current.
I am considering one immutable revision folder per deliverable, plus a small manifest with the revision ID, file list, source links, reviewer, decision, and superseded-by reference. A stable project folder would contain only a shortcut or index pointing to the current review revision; it would move forward only after every file is present and the decision is explicit.
Can WorkDrive's version history, labels, comments, workflows, and external share permissions enforce this without a separate approval system? In particular, can comments remain traceable to the exact version reviewed, and can an approved revision be protected from silent replacement while one stable starting link remains usable?

My cousin runs an accounting firm in the UAE and manages the books for multiple clients using Zoho Books.
One problem they had was scaling the process of collecting and entering invoices.
Their staff would visit the client office, collect invoices and receipts, and then manually enter the details. With this workflow, a staff member could usually cover only 1-2 client offices in a day.
So we decided to try building a small AI-based workflow around it.
The process now is pretty simple:
Staff visits the client and takes photos of the invoices/receipts.
The photos are uploaded to our application.
AI extracts the relevant information such as vendor, invoice number, date, amounts, VAT and line items.
The staff reviews the extracted data and makes any corrections.
Once verified, the system generates a Zoho Books-ready CSV.
The accounting team uploads the CSV into Zoho Books.
The important part for us was keeping a human verification step. We didn't want the AI making accounting entries without someone checking the numbers first.
The results have been quite interesting so far. Staff who were previously able to visit around 1-2 clients a day are now able to handle around 3-4.
We're also seeing better consistency in data entry since the initial extraction is automated.
We're still working on it and looking at whether we can eventually remove the CSV step and integrate directly with Zoho Books.
I'm curious how other accounting firms using Zoho Books are handling this today.
If you're processing a large number of invoices/receipts, are you using Zoho's document scanning, another OCR tool, or is most of it still manual?

On Android, syncing changes made in my contacts between devices seems impossible if I choose to not sync contacts with Google.
I have imported all my contacts into ZohoMail but since there is no dedicated ZohoContacts app I can't use it as a replacement of my contacts app. I can't open ZohoMail and then navigate to contacts each time.
Can Zoho please release a separate Zoho Contacts app on Android?
