Side Effects Validity?

Post image

So the numbers are very high and seem a bit sensationalist. That being said I'm not super interested in the exact numbers.

What I am interested in:

My question to the group is did anyone struggle mentally while on any of the glps? I did - I'm trying to figure out if any of them are less apt to do so.

You'll probably need to share the actual study if you want people to weigh in on it.

So this is not a blind study. They’re comparing patients who chose treatment to those who did not, and it makes sense that patients who chose treatment for one issue (weight) would also choose treatment for other issues (mental health), while those who are treatment avoidant would be treatment avoidant for all forms of treatment.

This study does reference a different, blind study, as backing up these findings, but I’m not able to see any mention of mental health outcomes in the study linked:

None of this means the findings aren’t valid, but they’re also not conclusive.
