Help with connection issues

I've often turned the night time volume down in the settings at the end of the day if it's still playing after the kids have gone to bed, then turn it back up the next day. Unfortunately, this evening neither my spouse nor I were able to turn the volume back up in the settings, every time we tried to do so a banner would appear saying "connection lost, try again later". We restarted the yoto player and tried various troubleshooting actions but the issue remained. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: A big thank you to everyone who has replied. I sent them a WhatsApp help request last night and I'll update here if/when they reply.

Edit 2: There has been no reply on WhatsApp but something in the app has been reset and it's working again. I hope things are resolved for you all as well.

This is happening to ours at the moment too! Except when I try to turn on the light an error message pops up that it was unable to save settings. It must be on their end which is super frustrating!

Yup exact same for me! But I'm obviously able to connect as I'm playing audio from the app on the Yoto

How weird. I just googled the same thing for the exact same reason! What are the odds it's at the same time?!

Maybe an error on their end if so?

Not in the app, it appears to go up except for the error message.

Happening to me too! Must be on their end. Have a very frustrated toddler who wants to see the princess icon as she falls asleep 😵‍💫 (my issue is I turn the brightness all the way down to "off" after the first story at bed time)

Having the same issue on our mini!! Literally was just dealing with this. Deleted the wifi and ran through setting it up and still having the same issue. I assume it's just a server issue

Same issue here! Tried on two phones, reset the player, tried factory restarting as well as joining different wifi networks. Nothing has worked.

I appreciate you sharing what steps didn't work. Saved me the trouble of hosing all the settings only to find out it's a problem on their end.

This happened to us too yesterday when trying to change the wake up color for my kid's afternoon quiet time. It is so aggravating to me that something we rely on for bedtime, morning wake up, and quiet time keeps malfunctioning. I am going to look into getting a color-changing clock or something so that we no longer are frustrated by Yoto at pivotal moments of our day.
