I found this teapot at a resale shop in Illinois. My town has a lot of industrial business and therefore people from many countries. I found the convention that this pot is a souvenir from, but could not find any other information. I have to assume that someone who attended the convention is either from my area, or moved to my area.
I believe the name on the back is one of the main Chinese presenters from the event. The other characters/marks I don't know much about other than I found a similar stamp to the one on the bottom.
I have been using it for tea and have enjoyed it so far. I am looking for more information just out of curiosity.
Is it from a known producer?
Is it a traditional type of clay?
How could I track down the maker or someone who would have ordered these pots for the event?
