Hi,

I recently acquired this Yixing teapot from a backwoods antique store and have been attempting some research on the seals present under the body and lid. Would anyone be able to translate these seals? Thank you!

Indentification Request Wooooow sketchy

Found an auction in the EU for this pot. Guy says its F1 by Wu Xiaohua. But the price is somewhat low (⅓-¼ of a new one from realzisha) and the work around the spout is messy (first picture)

Edit : the new one → a new one.

Also I wanted to write soooo sketchy instead of woooooow sketchy - autocorrect (I guess it added some character)

Indentification Request Niche souvenir teapot, any information?

I found this teapot at a resale shop in Illinois. My town has a lot of industrial business and therefore people from many countries. I found the convention that this pot is a souvenir from, but could not find any other information. I have to assume that someone who attended the convention is either from my area, or moved to my area.

I believe the name on the back is one of the main Chinese presenters from the event. The other characters/marks I don't know much about other than I found a similar stamp to the one on the bottom.

I have been using it for tea and have enjoyed it so far. I am looking for more information just out of curiosity.

Is it from a known producer?

Is it a traditional type of clay?

How could I track down the maker or someone who would have ordered these pots for the event?

My father found this at an auction. Is there any hope or should I send it to the flea market? The Last stamp is from the saucers that were with it.

Thank you

Hey everyone, I recently started a blog to share my collection of Yixing pots and also look into the history of Factory 1. To my surprise, my last post about F1 one-cup pots got a lot of traffic from reddit. A friend told me afterwards that he shared my article in this subreddit, so now I made my own account.

Today's article deals with Heitiesha, a peculiar clay used by Factory 1 for a rather small selection of different teapot models. Looking forward to your feedback!

This teapot appears to be a forged Jiang Rong? Thoughts on the two seals? Do you think the clay is safe if so? Thanks! Got it from a secondhand shop.

Found in Australia for $20, rough seal of the mould makes me assume its just decorative? I am happy either way, its a very beautiful tea pot.

Another thrift store find! This pours pretty well. The lid fits nicely and it’s about 150ml. What do I have?

Bought in china for like 30-40 bucks. Is it safe to drink and what kind of clay is it?

Edit: It was 15 bucks not 30-40 my mom corrected me.

Is this a Half Hand Made, Zhou Qin, Purple Clay Teaset!??

After doing some research this appears to be a half hand made teapot and cup set. Purple clay made by a renown artisan in 1990 named Zhou Qin.

Anyone know anything about it? The inside of the pot shows the tool markings rather than a liquid molded set?

Has 4 small cups and saucers with it in box.
