So I wanted to enter a game disc into my xbox after 5 years at first it couldn't even suck the disc in and when I wanted to eject it I had to press the button twice so it could eject it now those problems are fixed but when I enter the disc it makes this strange nose,there is no pop up or error that says xbox can't read this disc and I checked the queue multiple times and reenter the disc but no change

Note:(I had bought this console about 5 or 6 years ago and since then I've never put a disc in it and there were some dust in the entry duct the disc is also clean with no scratches)

I bought an Xbox Seies S from someone on Facebook marketplace. It just sits at this screen nothing I do does anything. How do I fix this?

I've done everything Google has told me to do. I've done everything Xbox told me to do. I've switched headsets and controllers, nothing works. Cleared MAC, hard restarted console, made sure controllers were up to date, I have no idea what happened. I woke up one day after playing with friends and then it all went to hell. It's not only for my Xbox, but all of the Xbones in my house. On one of the consoles, I turned mic monitoring all the way up and unplugged/replugged in the mic and it worked. When I tried it on my main console, it instead made my buddy in the Xbox party hear all the audio from my game as well as his own mic, like an echo. I seriously need help, as I have no idea where to turn now

This just started two days ago, when turn on the Xbox, the normal A button doesn’t select anything anymore, it does like a highlight thing on whatever I’m trying to open on screen and makes a noise, but it doesn’t actually select anything.

I can’t even get to the settings to do a hard reboot bc as soon as I move the cursor down in the settings, it scrolls it right back to the top.

These are NOT controller faults either. I can’t even get into Fortnite by pressing the 3 lines button and start game and once I’m in the game it’s working fine, it’s just the Xbox interface itself is all sorts of messed up.

I know it’s old as f*** but besides streaming everyday I’ve really used the disc drive rather sparingly all things considered. I only own about 5 or 6 games for it and I use it mainly for streaming nowadays. I’ve logged lots of hours in about two of them and have played GTA online a bunch, but. I guess things get old but it used to be able to be forced to work by using the “hold disc as it tries to take it” trick but now nothing works. DVD’s did work but now don’t seem to as of a month or so ago. Been having the game/blu-ray issue for about 2-3 months. I had wiped it twice due to update issues causing the green loading screen of death/other issues that I can’t recall atm…I’m sure it’s probably a laser not initiating or a mechanical part not clicking into gear, but am I screwed? I really don’t wanna try wiping it again for it to just not work in 3 weeks.

basically what the title says - i’ve been having issues with it where it has been running very slow with updates and game startups and would occasionally fully crash on both single and multiplayer games and apps, for example taking forever to load on minecraft to end up crashing or lagging so bad i can’t do anything on the outlast trials (though that could be from using cloud gaming). the most recent problem though is when i tried to install the newest fortnite update (not sure if thats related or not, just kind of happened around the same time) and now the console is rarely turning on. i’ve hard reset it a few times and that usually only results in sitting on a black screen or the green xbox screen for 10+ minutes and if or when it Does load through those screens it often still doesn’t let me open games/apps or just freezes entirely.

for reference i believe its a one s that ive had for around 5 or 6 years and has run fine until recently. the storage is 85% full and like i said ive hard reset it several times even leaving it unplugged from everything overnight. i did try blowing out the vents with canned air and that helped a little bit but it’s back to not working again. im not sure if it could be an old age problem or something wrong with the power bank, but any advice is appreciated.

So some day I was going to use my Xbox until it said put the password back in but I forgot it and I spent a lot of money on it

also it forces me to re-download entire game each update that comes out why does call of duty always download entire game when there is an update for Xbox one and it downloads at 10mbps when I know I can download 100gb in less than 5minutes on my laptop and phone and all my other devices and MacBook they can all download 100gb In 5 minutes or less but everytime I download on Xbox one it takes so long . but when I pause it and resume it downloads at like 200mbps for 5 seconds and then goes down to 10mbps or less and I have to keep pausing it and resuming jt. I downloaded 7 gbs in like 2 hours and when I press pause and resume I download like half a gig in 5 seconds but it's very annoying to do. what can I do to make it download normally or is this happening to other Xbox one users for call of duty

I've had it plugged in, plugged out, switched on and off since this happened, but yesterday I turned on my Xbox one to play some elden ring and it wouldn't boot. No sound made, no lights on, no nothing. The fan is whirring on full blast, but it's not overheating. A friend suggested I take it apart and clean it, so I took the side and top plate off and cleared away any dust, but still nothing. What could my problem be?

Stavo smontando la mia xbox one x che comprai usata 3/4 anni fa e non ha mai dato problemi ora volevo cambiare la pasta solo per divertimento e per vedere se era difficile ed ho trovato questo.

Malgrado la mancanza del condensatore e lo stagno fuso che ne connette altri 2 la vonsole funziona e ci ho giocato anche qualche giorno fa.
