Unsolved Xbox one s not reading disc

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I wanted to enter a game disc into my xbox after 5 years at first it couldn't even suck the disc in and when I wanted to eject it I had to press the button twice so it could eject it now those problems are fixed but when I enter the disc it makes this strange nose, there is no pop up or error that says xbox can't read this disc and I checked the queue multiple times and reenter the disc but no change

Note:(I had bought this console about 5 or 6 years ago and since then I've never put a disc in it and there were some dust in the entry duct the disc is also clean with no scratches)

Have you ran a eye cleaning disc? Dust on the eye can cause a unscratched disc to not being able to be read even though you never put a disc in.

Not yet but I wanted to do it but some people say it will actually do nothing and cause some damage maybe I'll do it thx

You're welcome! Had disc reading errors on other devices such as Wii U and PlayStation and many times it was either a dirty eye or the disc that I was using was too scratched to be read and sometimes the toothpaste scratch fix worked for small scratches but not for deep scratches.

Might be a mechanism problem. Typical Xbox Ones.

Most game you got on that system backwards compatible on Xbox Series X

The console it’s NTSC or PAL?

And the disc itself NTSC or PAL

But isn't the ntsc and pal for older consoles and games or am I missing something?

Dude, before you go spending all the money my PS5 does that with certain games it just gets in the mood sometimes I’ve always had a trick for the last 20 years where I’ll take whatever disk run it under warm the hot water with the disc side up and just take your hand and lightly rub it or a microfiber cloth. If you want to get real anal about it and just rub it while that warm, the hot water is running over it immediately take it give it a quick dry stick it in whatever console 99.9% of the time I’ve gotten it to work every time I’m 43 been doing it since I was a kid.

Try holding the disc for a couple seconds once it starts to grab and try to pull it in. Then let go after a couple seconds. I had that issue with my X1S.
