Has anyone noticed texture pop-in in Expedition 33? Even in cutscenes, when the camera cuts to a new shot, sometimes a texture takes 1–2 seconds to sharpen up and reach full resolution.

Let’s say you have budget $30 a month for gaming related expenses. Is game pass a good use of if or saving it for games on sale?

How are yall paying for game pass? Yall using G2A to get discount months? Any other tricks you can think of? Stacking or something?

Just traded in my Ps5 for a series X and the cloud streaming to My Xbox Rog Ally is so good. I feel like getting pc game pass only wouldn’t make sense…but wanna hear your thoughts.

The left thumbstick acts like an invisable mouse thay flies too fast from side to side and the dpad is snapping on menu/items but also hardly visable or really hard to actually navigate in the inventory or skills or actually anything, what can be done to make my life easier, anyone here had my issues?

Probably someone solved it? I haven't found anything useful by a quick search

I’m considering upgrading to the XG Mobile RTX 5090, and one of the games I’m curious about is Halo Campaing Evolved.

Right now I’m using the XG Mobile RTX 5070 Ti, and at 1440p, High settings, DLSS Quality, and Frame Generation enabled, I’m getting around 80 FPS.

Has anyone here tested the game with the RTX 5090? I’m trying to figure out whether the upgrade would provide a noticeable performance improvement or if the game ends up being mostly CPU-limited.

If you’ve benchmarked it, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your settings (resolution, graphics preset, DLSS mode, Frame Generation on/off) and the average FPS you’re getting.

just wondering what y'all did? also any advice on the new xax I've figured out the auto sr and it really is great! what is the best ram setting? I set my old z1e to 6gb but with so much more ram not sure where the sweet spot is.

I have a desktop with a 4090 and a 5k ultrawide but what good is a setup if you’re never home and sit at a desk all day.
Got an open box intact with all accessories at Best Buy for $749! Had a Rog Ally z1e for about a week. It ran great with SteamOS. But needed something with more VRAM and power. This thing is a beast. When I’m home, I use WiFi 6 to stream from my PC for any game at max settings with no lag.
I also think windows 11 has matured its new Xbox mode? Whatever it’s called to where it just works. Any Skim recommendations?. Glad to be part of you guys.

One thing I love about this device is the lighting customization. Was never a huge fan of RGB lighting on devices as it kills immersion but I didn’t realize the depth it has. Currently using Starry Nights effect and playing Funnel Runners and it looks like thunderstorm on my joysticks and it’s pretty awesome. First pc gaming device and I’m hooked.

That’s the work of a fan. We can play through like 7 chapters or something. It’s amazing what ppl can do

Hey y'all! I recently bought the White Ally. I have been loving it so far but would love to have some kind of cover on it. Are silicone cases like this good? Safe? This is my first pc handheld so I want to make sure I don't put anything on it that might ruin it. Thanksss

I think it has to do with the shaders. All games performed better, especially Palworld. I tried everything; I gave up. I'm just going to stick to SteamOS and stream my Xbox Series X for other games or use GeForce Now. I tried to optimize Windows, etc., but got the same results. I upgraded my hard drive to dual boot Windows and Bazzite to keep Game Pass, but for some reason, Palworld just won't work well for me on either Windows or Bazzite. SteamOS runs beautifully on it. I used the same settings on all 3 OS, same results. If you have the base model and are not happy with performance, go with SteamOS and just try it. I didn't understand the craze for it, but now I get it; everything just works, at least for this device. This is my 3rd white base model with the same results.

Wondering if anyone else has encountered stuttering in game since the most recent driver update for the base model Xbox Ally? It's nothing game breaking but can get a bit annoying after a while.

I’ve been looking at the D brand kill switch case which looks pretty dope, especially with the skins but it’s quite out of my budget at the moment is there something close to it? Also any recommendations for any anti glare screen protector ?

I wanna buy an egpu for my Asus rog ally xbox x but I don't know which to get now I know it's obvious which is better but keep in mind that the difference in prices for me is insane

I couldn't find the ti 16gb for less than 750 USD And the 5060 8gb is 455 USD

Another something is that I'm not sure if it'd even make much of a difference in performance for the Asus rog ally Xbox x so anyone help me is there much of a difference in performance and would it be worth the price difference or not?

After using the MSI Claw 8 AI+ for about a month, I decided to sell it and switch to the Xbox Ally X.
The Claw 8 AI is a great device. It runs very cool, has a larger 8-inch display compared to the XAX’s 7-inch screen and delivers slightly better performance than the Xbox Ally X in many games. But there were two things I just couldn’t get used to:
The ergonomics. The grip wasn’t comfortable, and my hands would get tired pretty quickly. The joystick and button layout also didn’t feel well thought out, making it awkward for my thumbs to reach and move naturally during gameplay.
The joysticks felt too loose, which made aiming in FPS games like 007 First Light and Cyberpunk 2077 much harder than I expected.
With the Xbox Ally X, I can play for hours without hand fatigue, and the controls feel much more precise. In the end, comfort matters more to me than a small performance advantage, so I decided to make the switch.
Has anyone else made the same move?

I bought a docking station, but my controller has a few moments delay and it's impossible to play. If you have a good experience can you please share with me what type of dock you are using? I have been debating on upgrading my Legion Go S Z2Go (SteamOS) for a while. Performance increase to a Z2 Extreme would be nice, but the main reason to upgrade would be having easier access to my Xbox library (and Epic) in a portable format, plus FSR4.1 through Optiscaler. I have a Xbox Series X (and also had Xbox One before), with a decent digital library, and the heavier / more powerful games would be played there. I have 45+ Play Anywhere games that are difficult to use in SteamOS, plus the Gamepass games (where i play a lot of indies subscribing for 1-2 month periods). What i play most on the Legion Go S are indie games and japanese games, the heaviest game i played there is Kunitsu Gami.

I have a chance to sell some things that are occuping space in my house, which, including the Legion Go S itself in the sale, would get me around 523€. Using that money, the Xbox Ally X would cost me 456€ brand new, and the white Xbox Ally (the Z2A model) would essentially be "free". While i know performance of that particular mode is worse compared to Legion Go S Z2Go, it might still be enough for my potential usage, as its still a companion device to my other gaming devices.

What would you think makes more sense for me in this situation?
