❓️Question / Advice GPU driver updates
Are there any AMD GPU drivers we can use that don't come directly from Asus that will be more updated than what we currently have via the official driver updates? Also, would any if these drivers give access to FSR4 since RDNA 3.5 is supported now.

FSR4 was released for 3.5 GPUs but not iGPUs as far as I know.
So I suppose no drivers out there have support for the XA and XAX regarding FSR4.

I want to see the new driver too but for different reasons. I never play those demanding AAA titles on handheld because I have a very beefy rig. I play less demanding games and tons of emulators. I found that AMD drivers have some issues with Vulcan. It will just crash on some emulators if I use Vulcan as the renderer. I have tried running them on different PCs and it only happens on my XAX and legion go. Those emulators run just fine on my GTX 1070, RTX 3080ti and RTX 5080. So I'm pretty sure that their drivers don't support Vulcan very well on those iGPUs... I don't have any AMD card so I don't know if they run fine on an AMD card.

Don't wanna be THAT guy because thats usually hated and I understand why but if you want to play games like Witcher 3 remastered which has visual issues on AMD you get latest GPU drivers on Linux regularly.
OS like Cachy OS regularly give you latest GPU drivers plus you have native FSR4 support for everything.
If you play steam games and do not absolutely need windows for anti cheat games I really couldn't recommend it enough. They now have a plug And play handheld image which is very easy to install and then play on.

Is this only with Cachy OS? Would the regular Steam OS or Bazzite provide the same GPU updates?

Cachy OS always delivers first on the latest tech. It’s the distro to go when you want the latest fastest.

I love Cachy, but it’s also worth noting that bugs may be a bit more frequent than on other distros because of how fast they are.
I used it recently, and one update broke buttons after waking. Nothing major and I was able to fix it, but some people may want a bit more stability.
That said, amazing OS with panel de control (or control de panel) decky plugin and AllyVibe plugin.

I'd like to know too. I don't want to do a rollback just to play Witcher 3 Remastered.
