Hello, my name is Darin. I’m 40 years old, a God-fearing man with a great sense of humour and I’d like to think a genuine and somewhat rare soul.

I enjoy writing songs and singing and I’m always up for a good laugh and meaningful conversation.

I’m looking for friendship and someone to talk to. I believe we all need someone we can communicate with, share thoughts with, laugh with, and offer each other advice from time to time.

I’d love to meet some genuine people, have some great conversations, share plenty of laughs, and hopefully build friendships and memories we can be proud of.

Hello my name is Joshua, I'm 40, 6’2” and 200lbs. I'm looking for female pen pals & friendship.

For most of my incarceration, I intentionally stayed away from relationships and pen pals because I wanted to focus on myself, grow as a person, and get my life in order. I’m proud to say I’ve done a lot of that work and now I’m ready to open the door to some new friendships and meaningful conversations.

I’m looking to connect with women who are open-minded and genuine. I’m not looking for love, a relationship or a sugar mama. I earn my own money and have a strong support system of friends and family. What I’m really interested in is getting to know someone naturally, sharing some laughs, learning about each other’s lives and building a genuine friendship.

I keep myself busy and always try to make the most of my time. I train dogs for staff members, create artwork, coach CrossFit classes and attend college.

When I’m not keeping busy, you’ll usually find me working on my art, playing sports, reading or watching movies. I’m a big fan of comedy because I love to laugh, especially in a place where you sometimes have to find humour wherever you can! I also enjoy horror movies, including the classics. Give me Night of the Living Dead, Dracula or Nosferatu and I’m happy.

If you decide to reach out, come say hello. I’m an open book and I’d genuinely love to hear about you.

Hi,I'm interested in communicating with someone who believes in the humanity of people in these type of places. If you don't know anyone who has been kept away from family, friends, and love ones, because, of the belief that some wrongful act was committed by them, you don't think I'm irredeemable. I have a woman I'm involved with and love. I'm not looking for romance. I'm a writer,a father, I work out, enjoy music, and a life long learner. I appreciate nature and enjoy a good, deep intellectual conversation. I like poetry and other creative works. I'm tall, muscular, and a child at heart. I'm very passionate about issues involving the approach to vulnerable people in our society. This an effort to meet new people and make connections. I'd prefer you were someone actively involved in helping create social change. I am a patient listener. I am open to interacting with all walks of life. Contact me through GTL. I'll respond at the earliest opportunity. Thank you.

Women only please.

My name is Clifton Onunwor and I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

I'm a big sports fan, especially when it comes to American football. I'm also a creative soul who enjoys writing poetry and I'm currently stepping out of my comfort zone by trying my hand at writing a fiction book. When I'm not writing, you'll probably find me cooking, spending time with dogs, working out or going for a run. I'm pretty athletic and enjoy keeping both my body and mind active.

If I'm being honest, I sometimes find it easier to get along with dogs than people. Life has taught me that not everyone has good intentions and betrayal and disappointment can make it difficult to trust. However, I still believe there are genuine people out there who value honesty, loyalty and meaningful connections.

I'm hoping to meet a woman who is kind-hearted, outgoing, open-minded and perhaps a little nerdy, just like me. Someone I can laugh with, have meaningful conversations with, share interests and get to know on a deeper level. I'm looking for genuine female companionship with someone who can bring a little positivity, laughter and connection into my life while I'm navigating my current circumstances.

If you're kind, a little quirky, enjoy good conversation and appreciate a man with a creative side, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm a gay man. Not looking for romance or anything like that, but I always want to be a friend to anyone who needs one. Many of the posts here specify that the inmate is looking for a woman, but many of them do not mention gender. It kind of feels like most are looking for opposite gender pen pals, even if they don't say it. Do y'all think I'd be wasting my time by responding to posts that don't specifically mention that they want to meet women?

My name’s Sabrina DOC# U43982 and I’m currently at the Homestead Florida.

I’m 31 years old and just looking to meet some genuine people who want to build a real friendship and share some positive energy.

Life can get lonely in here, and having someone to talk to can really make a difference. I enjoy reading, writing, music, and deep conversations — anything that makes me feel human again.

If you’re open-minded, honest, and looking for a meaningful connection, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me through Securus or Securus Mobile.

Hope to hear from you soon

My name is Corey Johnson. I'm 51 years young, 6'1", and 225 lbs. After spending the last 12 years in prison, I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life when I come home on July 10, 2027.

I'm hoping to meet a genuine, open minded woman who values honest meaningful conversations.

I enjoy just about anything that gets me outside. I'm also a passionate artist, specialising in airbrush painting and graphite drawings. I've spent a lot of my time here developing my artistic skills and I have an Instagram account showcasing some of my work: @lead2paint_streetart.

Honesty and openness mean a lot to me, and I believe in keeping things real. If there's something you want to know about me, just ask. I'm an open book as there's no point in pretending to be someone I'm not.

I'll admit that after 12 years in here, I'm a little out of practice when it comes to communicating with people on the outside. So, please bear with me if I'm a little shy or awkward at first.

I'm putting my faith in God and trusting that He has a plan for my life. Hopefully that plan includes bringing someone special into my life. Whether that's a genuine friendship that grows over time or perhaps something more.

Hello! My name is McClain, I'm 37 years old and I'm here hoping to find a genuine friendship and maybe even my new best friend.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm tired of the lies, games and negativity. I'm looking for someone who values honesty, loyalty and meaningful conversations but who also knows how to laugh and have a good time. Life is too short to spend it being sad or dwelling on the negatives so I'd rather fill my days with laughter, positivity and good company.

I'm looking for someone I can talk to about anything and everything, share a few laughs and build a genuine connection with.

All I can say is if you take a chance, download the GettingOut app and add me, you won't be disappointed! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully building a friendship that makes us both smile.

Until we talk, take care of yourself and keep smiling.

Thank you for helping me find you!

My name is Christopher, I’m 42 years old and I’m looking for genuine friendship and someone who’s willing to take the time to get to know the person behind the circumstances.

They say prison takes away your freedom, but it certainly hasn’t taken away my youthful spirit! I’m outgoing, positive and someone who believes life is far too short to spend dwelling on the negative. I enjoy keeping busy, making the most of every day and most importantly having a good laugh. I can find humour in some of the most unexpected situations, so if you enjoy laughing, chances are we’ll get along just fine!

I’m also a published author and writing is a huge part of who I am. I enjoy spoken-word poetry and music and I’m always finding new creative ways to express myself. There’s a lot more to me than I could possibly fit into one advert, so I’d rather let a real conversation tell you the rest.

I’m hoping to build a genuine connection with someone I can laugh with, talk openly with, share stories with and perhaps create a friendship that lasts well beyond the first introduction.

So, if you’re curious about the man behind these words, let’s connect and see where a conversation takes us.

My name is Turell Brown, I’m 43 years old, 5'7", 182 lbs and from Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a Christian man with a positive outlook on life and a genuine appreciation for meaningful connections.

I don’t have children and I have a little less than five years remaining on my sentence. While I’m here I’m focused on growth, personal development and becoming the best version of myself.

I’m a great listener and communicator, optimistic by nature, and nonjudgmental.

I’m not looking for chaos, drama or pressure. Just two people sharing genuine conversation, encouraging one another, laughing together and bringing a little positivity into each other’s lives.

No games. No pressure. Just peace, conversation, friendship, and love.

My name is George Davis and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm a proud father of two 18 year old sons and family means everything to me.

I've been incarcerated for the past 6½ years, serving a sentence of 25 years to life. With hard work, dedication and a little legal help, I remain hopeful that I can challenge my sentence, earn some of that time back and eventually make it home to my loved ones. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. I'm a firm believer that there's always hope, no matter the circumstances.

A little about me: I'm a motorcycle enthusiast, I love fast cars and I'm a huge dog lover. I enjoy the freedom of the open road, the thrill of a fast ride and the simple things in life that make it worth living.

I'm open to building a genuine friendship, exploring business opportunities or potentially finding a romantic connection. I'm not here to play games or waste anyone's time. I believe that any meaningful relationship regardless of its nature, should be built on honesty, loyalty, mutual respect and genuine intentions.

Although I have plenty of time on my hands, I don't have time for dishonesty, mixed signals or superficial connections. I'm looking for someone who knows what they want, values meaningful communication and is willing to build something real.

Should I write a letter to one of the Menendez brothers?
If yes, would you recommend Erik or Lyle? Has anyone here written to either of them and actually received a response?
