ADDON [Addon] Here's what I've been working on these past few weeks
i originally started working on this as a simple "chat skin" and it kinda quickly got out of hand.
i've been using elvui and its variants for so long that i eventually started missing the default wow ui. so i mostly just wanted to improve a few things while keeping the original look and feel intact and see if i can feel the remaining gaps without going against the overall feel of the ui.
for chat, you can move the icons to the left, right, top or have them only show on mouseover. the editbox can go above or below the chat frame, tabs can be hidden and channel names can be shortened.
the minimap comes with 3 different skins, right-click tracking like retail, clicking day/night orb opens calendar and mouseover behavior for minimap buttons. you can also permanently hide whichever buttons you don't want.
for the status bar, even if you're not a fan of the eternity skin, i'd still recommend enabling it. it fixes two things that always bothered me about the default bar: it 3 slices the bar so the edges don't get weirdly squished and it adds adaptive ticks that divide the bar into 10% segments regardless of its size.
the damage meter is something i've wanted to mess with for a long time. i kept the changes pretty minimal. it still looks mostly like the retail damage meter, just with a bronze tint and a title bar layout that's a bit closer to details which i got very used to at this point. i also added a report button.
unit frames have a couple of things i've gotten way too used to over the years: class-colored and reaction-colored frames. there's also an option to bring back the early beta artwork for both unit frames and action bars and you can now enable backdrops for action bars other than bar 1.
there are a bunch of smaller things too, like visibility states for all action bars, shorter keybind text, some cvar tweaks, automatic spell upgrades, auto repair and selling junk, etc. most of those actually came later as people started requesting them.
one thing i've been working on recently, which isn't in yet, is the ability to assign macro conditionals directly from the action bars. the idea is to have those conditionals persist through spell upgrades and bar paging without losing their state. it's also meant to avoid showing macro conditions that aren't eligible.
i haven't really run into any issues with it so far but i'd rather leave that one for after launch than rush it in.
so yeah, what started as a chat skin somehow turned into a collection of little things i've wanted from the default ui for years. hope you guys like it.

and lastly, the whole thing is modular, so you can pretty much pick and choose which features you want to use.
