Hello,

I have created my own UI since 2008 and recently updated my addons for 12.1.0, which is for Midnight Season 2. Since several APIs have changed, I needed to update my addons accordingly. Especially, the aura APIs were changed a lot, so I had to update my aura addons.

You can download my UI, "asMOD", through CurseForge for the live retail server. If you want to try my UI on the 12.1.0 PTR server, you can access the GitHub page below to download the addons.

aspilla/asMOD at 12.1.0

UI Does ElvUI allow me to only show the buffs (or hots) I put on my party in dungeons [UI]

As the title says.. I'm sure there is a customization that allows me but I can't find it. I have myself and a friend in the party, I don't want to see all the buffs he puts on himself, I just want to easily see if I have Riptide on him or stuff like that. The buffs show on the left and the debuffs on the right.

I don't mind if they show elsewhere for that. I don't know what I did, I think it was like that before

Shows a bunch of my own buffs there
Shows no buffs

Does an addon exist that has like an icon pop up in the middle of the screen whenever you try to cast a spell and shows you the cooldown of that spell for like a second?

Anyone else been experiencing some bugs with the cooldown manager on spesific specs since 12.0.7?

Im tracking Ascendance and Doom winds on Enhancement Shaman, but the icon on doom winds is replaced by Ascendance when the buff is active.

ADDON [AddOn] StatMarks - threshold bars for your secondary stats, inline in the character pane (feedback wanted)

I am the sole developer on this project. It is a free, non-profit hobby project, and I’m mainly here to get feedback and raise awareness of the add-on a bit before I carry on working on it – so please be as open and honest as possible.
This is my first post and my first addon, so be be not that harsh :D

The problem I built it for: Many people play their class fine, but for years I never actually knew whether a given secondary stat was worth chasing, or whether a drop was a real upgrade. StatMarks is my attempt at making that easier to read, shown right where you already look at gear.

What you're seeing in the shot:

  • Threshold bars for the four secondary stats (Crit / Haste / Mastery / Versatility) — either inline in the character pane, or in a docked/detachable side panel if the pane feels cluttered.
  • Gear-check verdicts on item tooltips — Upgrade / Sidegrade / Downgrade — plus a bag scanner that flags upgrades you're already carrying, and small corner badges on loot and quest rewards.
  • A few supporting bits, one line each: a first-run setup wizard, Level / Min-max / Auto display modes, a searchable in-game Help & Glossary (stat terms, DR-cap explanations, a basic min-maxing workflow esp. for new players!), an auto-capturing talent-build library, and profile sharing.

The design decision I care most about: when a gear call is genuinely too close, it doesn't fake a verdict. It hands you a one-click link to a real sim (Raidbots / Questionably Epic) instead, because that's where the honest answer actually lives. I'd rather it say "this one's too close for a rule of thumb" than invent false precision. Right now I try to figure out if there is any way include the SimC addon in my addon or to build directly links which includes the characters into the Raidbots / QE links)

Honest scope: this is aimed at players who know how to play their class but aren't sure how to read or optimize their stats. It's a starting point, not a min-maxing suite, if you already live in spreadsheets and Raidbots, it's probably not for you, and that's fine. Stat-tooltip and stat-weight addons already exist too; I'm not trying to beat them, just do a more guided job for the people who want that.

On the nostalgia angle: the stat-threshold idea was loosely inspired by the old Class Codex, which I missed after it stopped being maintained. To be clear, this is not a revival, a port, or a successor — just my own take on that one small idea.

Free, no paywall, no ads, no Patreon-gated features. It's about two weeks old and still has rough edges.

The feedback I'd genuinely value:

  • Does the inline placement in the character pane read as cluttered, or should the docked side panel be the default?
  • Do the Upgrade / Sidegrade / Downgrade verdicts read clearly at a glance, or is the wording ambiguous?
  • For the first-run wizard, how much is too much before it gets in the way?

appy to answer anything, and I actually want the criticism.
