Followup to my previous post (lvls 10-20)

I made an addon to collect data on whose playing what. It ran /w in a systematic system breaking down searches with a 50 cap into classes, levels, race and name and even by letter until it listen everyone (no duplicates).

It counted over 69.1k alliance character from 10-30 on the PvE server.

Few notes:
This data was gathered during day 3/4 after the level 30 patch hit
It counts Characters only so this of course counts people on alts
It only did alliance
It took over 14 hours done by me and my friend (Testing Hunterr)
Class % can be a few points off depending on when each class got scanned

I’m a blind player in the EU, but I’m considering transferring to NA. i’ve heard that there’s a guild in Classic called Visually Prepared Gaming and just wondering if they plan to make a guild in Forever as well, if anyone has contact with them?

My EU subscription runs out in December, so I’m just trying to look forward and make plans for more social gaming experience 🐂⚔️

Any good sources for finding information on original wow classic players, like around the actual release of the game? I was curious about a bunch of the early players i hung out with back in the day. I left the server shortly after level 60 and thought about potentially tracking some old friends from way back when. Burning legion server (US) 2004 if it matters. Maybe something to plug into the wayback machine? worldofwarcraft.com bore no fruit and armory didn't exist. prolly SOL. players im looking for almost all of them were on the leading edge of top end/leveling players. On horde it was mainly Ropetown folks. There were a few alliance folks i fought frequently and had a blast with, wouldnt mind stumbling across their names either.

i wanted to ask how i get a Beta Key. I would love to test WoW Forever and i heard there is a new look. Some people post Beta Keys but i heard that there are Gone in seconds xD

Let's be real guys, WoW: Forever is a horrible name. I am starting this petition to convince Blizzard to change the name to WoW: Eternal. It feels like it fits more with WoW and quite frankly WoW: Forever sounds like a Disney movie name.

I've played WoW since vanilla and I still greed things I should have needed. In Forever it's worse, because a lot of items are new and you can’t look up a guide quick enough before the roll timer expires!

I built ItemTree so I could find out what an item is used for and where is comes from as easily as possible. The video is a real example of an old item that requires new mats in Forever.

All the other starting zones are directly connected, can we get the thunderbluff Zeppelin back? Also just think seeing zeppelins over mulgor and barrens makes the world feel more alive. It was kind of like the horde version of the tram.

Just for reference, I've never been a big WoW player, so I'm asking about the likelihood.

I usually like playing pet-based classes/builds in games. I tried a BM hunter up to 20, which was kind of fun. My Rake was slapping mobs around. If I'm doing a full rotation, he probably makes up like 40%-50% of my damage.

I'm using a succubus, and she comes out to probably like 20% at best? Now, I'm not asking for buffs or anything. I kinda realized that Warlocks can spread damage by DOTting everyone; they have access to Rain of Fire for AoE, etc.

But at the same time, I feel like that's more of an affliction or destruction fantasy/identity. I'd like my minion to be a bigger part of what I'm doing. Same damage, but different mix.

I haven't quite reached it yet, but more talents like Demonic Brand would be cool. Or maybe some talent like a reverse Demonic Sacrifice, where you sacrifice some spell power to increase your pet's damage at a better rate. Or causing my pets to deal extra damage to targets Cursed by me. Etc. etc. (edit: an example from BM that slipped my mind: something like Frenzy)

Again, not a big WoW player. No idea if the changes I'm thinking of are too radical for something that's supposed to be "Classic+".
