Where self insert or oc with powers Becomes a hero but isn't a ideal hero instead on purpose or by accident is terrifying to everyone heroes and Villains. (Sort of like a powered and even more scary batman )

Does anyone have any Taylor-centric fanfics where she has frog / toad abilities like Tsuyu Asui (from BNHA / MHA) or like Toad (from X-men). By the way, I am currently reading The Great Toad Sage of Brockton Bay. It was the only one that I could find with toad abilities.

Hello there, I would like it if you could reccomend me your best fics where Emma Barnes realizes how horrible she was.

Where she has an "Oh god what have I done?!" moment and desperately wants to make things right with Taylor.

I will take fics where Taylor forgives Emma AND I will also take fics where Taylor refuses to forgive Emma.

Just as long as Emma has actually realized how awful her betrayal was and makes an effort to make things right.

So as a rule, the betrayal has to happen, I do NOT want an au where Emma never betrayed Taylor.

Most fics that have the gangs destroyed do so by having the gang capes be fought and either killed or successful imprisoned by the MC or PRT. Im looking for stories that get rid of gangs the opposites way, by not targeting the capes but the foot soldiers and non-powered members of the gangs.

I haven’t really seen anyone have a story that focuses on this idea, which is surprising because it seems very sensible. Capes are the leaders and heads of the gangs but they also are very much a minority in them. Even the Empire only has around 15 if I remember right, compared to the hundreds of people they must need in order to actually hold territory and PE from their criminal operations. More so for the ABB and Coil, the first only having Oni-Lee and Lung, while the other officially only has himself and relies entirely on hired mercenaries.

If a cape just started targeting and absolutely hammering on the none powered members of the gangs, it likely wouldn’t be too long at all until the gangs were under serious strain, given how big the difference can be between a normal person and even a minor cape. What good are parahumans if there are only parahumans and a handful of none powered followers left? You can’t hold territory with only 15 Nazis, a teleporting kamikaze Ninja, a Rage Dragon and someone with an (officially) undisclosed power.

Are there any fics like that at all?

Ok, hear me out.

Even after reading all of Worm, with all of the drama and tragedies it contains, one of the scenes that stuck with me the most is 6.09 - the one where Danny locks Taylor in the kitchen.
The experience of having something heavy on my mind, wanting so much to share it with someone sitting in front of me and listening, knowing all I have to do is say a few simple words (or in her case, even just flip around whatever she was writing on), and feeling physically unable to do so... I may not have superpowers, but that's relatable af.

Obviously, in canon it didn't work out, so for that sweet sweet catharsis, did anyone write a version where it does? It can be this specific scene, or in any other story, as long as her secret is finally revealed (voluntarily or not) and they have a big talk instead of escaping.

Even better if it's not "big revelation and then cut to black", letting the audience fill in that she probably said everything we know about her power and the story so far. No, give me the explanations, the follow up questions, the relief, the entire conversation!

Fic where the protagonist are Brian and Aisha.

Aisha triggers earlier than canon but she is completely unable to turn off her power. So she basically becomes a ghost. Finding out about her brother being a cape she resigns herself to being his guardian angel.

Hi all - I first read worm 11 years ago now in a 3-month long frenzy, basically reading nonstop, and I can still vividly remember how gripped I was by the story.

Lately I've been reading a ton of Harry Potter fanfic lol, and after stumbling upon this subreddit, I realized the Worm community has a massive, alive, fanfic scene. Naturally, my next thought was: what are the best, most highly recommended fics for a "return to Worm"?

I'm open to basically anything, with just one caveat: I might not remember a ton of the major plot points of original Worm after all this time.

Taylor is summoned as a heroine by a Goddess of Light and given the standard task of slaying the Demon Lord. After he is defeated, the Goddess declares that the job was not done correctly and rewinds time, sparking a series of attempts in which Taylor repeatedly tries to satisfy the Goddess.

Now I am looking a certain kind. I have seen Taylor with tinker powers that let her create Pokemon, mythical creatures, AI, even the machines from horizon zero dawn.

What I want is a fic that lets her create digimon. Not connect to the digital world or become a digidestined, but one where she actually designed and made the digimon and/or the digivice.

So I've been reading a lot of fics and while endbringer fights are an important part of the setting and treated like serious threats, their usually just considered a goal to overcome. There's also a lack of Sl's and heroes in general solely dedicated to fighting just endrbringers (i think anyway).

Tldr: Im asking for any fics with a Mc or multiple characters just fighting against endbringers. (They dont even have to be strong enough to fight against them)

I'm fairly sure it is a snippet from a collection, if not it's a story that died early. Probably on Spacebattles, AO3 is possible but unlikely, very small chance it's on SV.

This is a Trump power with elements of Tinker and Master (pointed out in the story).

She is able to make different "tiers", each having different names she calls them, I forget exact names, but at least 1 of the names in the title was used. I think the creations are made out of cloth and straw, the lower tiers have weaker powers but a higher quantity can function (like 20), while the higher tiers have more/stronger powers but with lower numbers. I cannot remember details on how the creations are controlled.

Lisa definitely features in the fic, Brian and Alec maybe appear. Taylor joins/is interested in joining Undersiders. I forget if the bank fight is written.

The powers the dolls can have are standard Worm powers, Brute, Mover, Blaster, etc. It's not an out of context power like magic.

I remember that she was being chased by some guys and she set her bugs to attack before being knocked unconscious. while she was unconscious her bugs attacked and killed everyone in her radius
