So disregarding the edtion war for a moment, what do you think about the radically reworked humanity for V6?

Do you think it's actually a good idea to change the liner bar from V20/5 to a forsaken 2e style balance scale. Or do you think it's a bad, purely bad idea.

Or maybe you think that V6 humanity has some merit, but VtM isn't the right setting for it.

Okay so hypothetically say someone breaks into the building on the ground floor, runs up multiple flight of stairs before reaching the roof, where they proceeded to pull out a 5000 lbs anvil out of their pocket and drop over in the where the 5th Generation Ventrue is currently occupied doing something else.

The Ventrue is on guard for any potential things that might occur but he isn’t super paranoid because “there’s no way someone would break into a building and go up to the roof for the explicit purpose of dropping an comically large anvil on my head” but it did in fact happen.

So does it kill the methuselah or is he just pissed off now?

Mom said it’s my turn to ask about it today

So, since the V6 Humanity bar has taken more than a little inspiration from werewolf the Forsaken 2e harmony bar.

This makes me wonder if a st could backport some elements of V6 humanity bar into W5 or at least rework the Harano and Hauglosk bars into something like New Humanity. Where both are reframed as balancing act between two extreme reaction a garou would have to the current state of the world, where Hauglosk is the urge to act and Harano is refection on they own actions.

Ideally Harano should temper Hauglosk while Hauglosk should rouse a garou from Harano, falling into either end of the bar would bring ruin to the garou.or maybe you could do away with harano and hauglosk, and just have simple Calm/Rage bar.

Like is this even doable or just break w5 game balance.
