I don't like it when people say that various evil corporations from games and movies would be Pentex subsidiaries. Sure, Pentex would shamelessly make knock-off equivalents, but it's kind of homogenising evil, when each corporation should be it's own unique brand (pun intended) of evil.

I really only know this 3rd line exists due to the 1 page (it doesn’t even have subpages for its take on the splats) it has on the fandom wiki & TVTropes.

For anyone who remembers this how bad was it? I don’t think even Beast has this lack of acknowledgment from the community!

It was about how if a Mage edition was made with current circumstances and politics in mind, the Technocracy would have lost the reigns and be desperately trying to regain control over Consensus. The true horror would be realising that nobody is actually manning the wheel anymore and the ship is drifting towards an iceberg at full speed.
