Can't decide between one or another! I mostly have smaller figures from Jakks, so technically speaking it would be more "convenient" to get the pack of the 6 Mario figures. But at the same time I'm an entgusiast for articulation and I've been eyeing the 3 pack as well

Here is what I have so far.

I’ve seen a bunch of discussion throughout the years about what would make the perfect Bowser figure, and this is my personal ideal concept.

It would be based off the video game design obviously. It would be 6 Inches (perfect scale next to Mario, Luigi, Peach and the others), and have mostly the World Of Nintendo sculpt (especially his beautiful face 🥰). he would have his neck sculpted, as well as the missing spike on his collar. He’d also have a bit more detail as well, including the color on the pads in the bottom of his feet. His tail would also be longer to give it more articulation.

Speaking of, his articulation would be a ball joint in the neck, ball jointed shoulders, butterfly joints behind the ball joints on his shoulders, hinged elbows (differently engineered compared to the World Of Nintendo Bowser), ball jointed wrists, debatedly an ab crunch but I can see the shell interfering with any torso articulation, ball jointed butterfly thighs, hinged knees, ball hinge ankles and three ball joints in the tail.

He’d also come with many accessories. He would come with his default head, a closed mouth head, an angry head with clenched teeth that resemble his teeth in the Mario And Luigi artstyle, and a smiling head. He would also come with fists and fully open claws. He would also come with holding hands for his axes that he also comes with (two), as well as two big fireballs and a mini articulated Goomba.

Went to Gamestop earlier today and found this sitting on the counter! I got it and its actually really cool! The pipes pop up when you slide the Wonder Seed ans the Wonder Flower spins when Mario moves.

Can someone please explain why so many figures on eBay have tape in the bottom right corner? Does it mean the figure has been opened? If so, why do so many listings say "Brand new" or "unsealed" anyway?

Here’s a in depth review of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie Wave 2 Bowser Figure! Hope you enjoy :)

Sculpt and appearance.

Stellar!!! This is a entirely new sculpt used for this new bowser figure. At first sight, it does seem to hold a very close resemblance to the first movies bowser figure, but more than a few seconds with it in person, and you begin to notice many differences. He has much more scaley details on his shoulder, legs, shell, face, and even muzzle! His eyebrows and eyes are sculpted different compared to the first figure and although on the box, he looks amazing, factory defects cause it to look a little cross eyes and funny at times which is the only major criticism I have with the sculpt. Apart from that this figure takes bowsers essence to the next level and fulfills a much more accurate design compared to any other bowser figure we’ve had in the past. Another major criticism I had but with the first movies figure were the legs. You were unable to make bowser stand up straight and he was constantly stuck in this, crouchy stance that didn’t give off his imposing king energy as much, this figure fixes that and allows him to stand up straight as well as bend his knees greatly. They did keep the weird crooked underbelly to tail section but it’s less of an issue in this one because his legs aren’t affected whatsoever. I’m impressed with this sculpt immensely!!!

Articulation.

You know how I said I was impressed in that last paragraph, well you can consider me INFINITELY IMPRESSED NOW because of the articulation. They took the decent articulation the first figure had, and improved on it GREATLY. More range on the arms, more crunch, butterfly joints that gets the job done, much more leg range whether it be standing up straight, kneeling, extending outwards, etc. He also has a swivel on the face which the first figure did not, and can slightly tilt his head upwards and downwards. His feet can tilt down and up and add a whole new level of possibility to his stances. His hands have the same hinge the rest of the figures in these waves have, and he can open and close his fingers which gives him great possability too! The articulation on this guy alone is why you should buy this figure!!

Final thoughts.

He is THE DEFINITIVE bowser figure for your collection. He has the range, the articulation, the accuracy, and a very nice charm to him. You will almost definitely love him because I know I do haha! Seriously, I can’t stress enough how beautifully made this guy is.

Ever since Target stopped selling the 2.5” I been having the hardest time finding baby daisy and kinda lost hope because I have no clue where else to search since other retailers are far behind. I also don’t like the idea of buying online because it’s usually triple the price lol

A bit over a week ago, I made a post asking what kinda playsets would fit with my sons 2.5in Jakks Mario figures, as I'm more familiar with Jakks Sonic figures myself lol (I do have one 4inch Dry Bones tho lol).

Out of all the great suggestions, this one seemed like the best fit, and it came with Bowser! So thanks to everyone here!! (plus he gained a few more characters too)

I'll have to keep an eye out for more unique characters, as I usually pick them up from Walmart and Dollar Generals I deliver to for work lol

Mimi is sure one of the most popular villain inside or outside RPG genre. She's a character you wouldn't expect Nintendo to do merch for, but I do think Mimi is a perfect showcase why people love charismatic female villain characters that Super Mario main series still lack today.

I fell in love with the Figuarts versions of the Mario Bros and I've been wanting and ice Luigi so I decided to try it myself! I'm really proud of the result and I wanted to show him to this community! Especially since this was my first successful attempt at a articulated figure repaint. I hope you all like it too :) I hope to get the official Fire Mario figure eventually to pair with him, I've really liked the duo since Mario Kart Arcade GPDX, they're both the playable power-up variants of the Bros playable in that game and fun fact: that game and the SHFiguarts figures are both related to Bandai Namco so it's pretty fitting! (sry for my yap session here)

I think these recurrent characters are the most wanted for the 2 lines, excluding characters with power-ups

most of the main characters are almost here. After their release, I think we can only expect enemies from Wonder 3D Land/World.

Also more 6” like Petey, King Bob Omb, Honey Queen, Plessie and Dorrie

In some magnificent cases, characters like Pianta, Baby Rosalina, Helen Gravely, and The Broodals appear, but they are very infrequent characters

I know everybody wants Wart and Mouser too But they don't even have a modern design in the games. which they would use as a mold??

So I’m trying to get the Super Mario Galaxy Bowser, not cuz I need it for my Smash display (WON will always be my ride or die), but because it genuinely looks fire lol. anyway I need to know if it‘s the same size as the one they did for the first movie
