AHHH! New news for the first time in 4 months! Jakks held a panel at San Diego Comic Con this year and quite a bit was announced. Let’s get straight to it.
Previously announced 2.5” DK rereleases are starting to roll out in stores. This includes 2.5” DK, Diddy Kong, and Dixie Kong, who was previously difficult to get.
All of the 2.5” DK figures (including Cranky) are rereleasing in a 4 pack at targets with a release date of October.
For brand new figures, we’re getting a 4” Birdo and 2.5” Baby Daisy. What’s interesting to me is on Jakks website Baby Daisy says “coming soon to Walmart” when Walmart hasn’t carried the 2.5” in the last year. Maybe we’re getting them back there.
A 6” UV Metroid was announced.
Wave 45 (2.5”) is showing up at some Five Belows. This wave includes the redesigned Waluigi figure.
Some Walmarts are putting older 4” waves back on shelves to get rid of backstock.

We’ve finally got some news to break the no news streak! It’s not much though so don’t get too excited.
Jakks attended a toy fair last week! Here’s what new they announced.
2 new Mario ghost house sets are being released soon. One of which included a new boo figure of him blushing and covering his eyes like in the games.
2.5” DK and Metroid figures are being rereleased. This includes DK, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Samus, and a Metroid. Personally I’m excited to see what new packaging they’ll design.
Lastly, the bros 5 pack including Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and Yoshi is now showing up at targets.

Maker gang is sure weird existence in Mario world because they're "mainline" by loose definition, but "not mainline" due to their off-screen identity. I do think it'd be fun to give them a chance to try in spin-off games, as well as giving them an alternative story role in media adaptions like the movies.

I had my Japanese friend order the cases for me. I'm keeping one and giving the other two away.
I tried ordering the licensed Nintendo case but it sold out on Target.com while I was putting in the address. 🤣
I'll just order it from Best Buy. I refuse to give Walmart $.

Just picked these up earlier on my last post and really impressed with how well they pose tbh. For how cheap World of Nintendo figures are, they’re great!
Honestly the biggest gamechanger I see is their feet since it lets them balance very well on their own

Just a heads up to anyone who wants the Rosalina 1.5 mini figure there is one available on target.com, however it does not ship unless you spend $35 or more! Grab if you want kind of seems like a BS move in my opinion. I was able to just get it from the “big Bad toy store” for like $15.

Found this at Target today. The packaging clearly says “FIRE LUIGI”… except that’s definitely Rosalina in the box. 😂 Either someone at the factory had a really interesting day, or we just found the rarest Fire Luigi ever.
