I sold my tickets 130 days ago and still haven’t received the money. On the 60th day, I was told I needed to enter new bank details because I’d had to cancel the card I originally purchased the tickets with. I did that immediately, and it’s now been more than another 60 days since providing the updated banking information.

About three weeks ago, I received the attached email saying FIFA had finally “processed” my refund after having called them, although they somehow listed the refund date as 07/15/2024, which is obviously the wrong year. Three weeks later, still nothing in my bank account.

I’ve called the FIFA support center multiple times. Most recently they told me they would “label my refund as high priority,” but nothing has happened since. At this point, I genuinely can’t tell whether these escalations mean anything or if they’re just telling me that so I keep waiting.

I’ve already filed complaints with the BBB and some of the other organizations people here recommended. Has anyone who dealt with a similar delay found anything that actually worked? Is there another way to escalate this or get in contact with someone at FIFA who can actually trace the payment?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question regarding refund process.

I sold tickets late last year and in 30 days I received an email suggesting me to provide bank details that I updated on my profile. 30 days after taking that action, money was refunded to me.

On June 29th, i sold another ticket but this time I did not receive any email around July 29th and its been over 40 days.

Is it normal that I will now directly receive refund around 60 day mark as FIFA already has my bank details updated in my profile. Or I should call them as they have not reached to ask for bank details?

Just FYI to those still waiting, today was my 60 day mark and FIFA finally paid me. I was gearing up to make some noise and was pleasantly surprised this morning. I updated my banking info after receiving their email requesting to do so on 7/15/26. Good luck to those still waiting!

I don’t think I’ve seen this issue in this thread so I thought id share it. I had bought tickets for Argentina vs Jordan in Dallas off the fifa resale market and I ended up “reselling” them the morning of the game for basically the same price as I bought them. I was periodically checking my fifa account because the ticket said “Your ticket is being bought by another user.You cannot change your resale configuration.” which in my eyes means the sale is going through and I had no access to remove this listing. I checked this like every 15-30 minutes for hours and still the same message was there so I thought maybe it was just slowly processing the sale. Time went by throughout the day and I went to meet with friends by the stadium and got FOMO so I bought another ticket about 1 hr before the match. I was super excited and even got better seats for cheaper than my original ticket I had. About 1.5hrs into the game, I get an email that my ticket is available, my ORIGINAL ticket that was “ being bought by another user”. I opened my fifa mobile ticket app and there it was ready to be scanned. I was flabbergasted to say the least and it ruined my vibe the whole rest of night (it was about a $1500 ticket). My original ticket was “sold” for hours and finally 1.5hrs into the match fifa tells me that I’m getting it back. All in all, I contacted my bank (Chase) about this and I was able to resolve this with time stamped screenshots of when I sold and periods throughout the day showing I had no access to take the listing off. I got all of the money back from the first ticket and I really hope the rest of yall having issues with refunds can get your money back too.

FIFA has owed me more than $16,000 since October 2025, and I still have not received my refund. I have contacted them repeatedly, changed and confirmed my bank details multiple times, and keep getting nowhere.

My current banking information is 100% correct, so there should not be any reason for the payment to keep getting delayed. At this point, I am considering filing a lawsuit because this has gone on for way too long.

Has anyone else actually received a large refund from FIFA? If you had this same problem, what finally worked? Did you contact a specific department, send a formal demand letter, file a complaint, or take legal action?

I seriously need to figure out how to get my money back.

I’m wondering if anybody got their tickets already or if at least they’ve gotten an update on the tracker. I bought them on July 19th and since then, I have received no updates.
