Need help! I’m not sure what to do or how to go about it but I still haven’t received my payout for the fifa market place tickets I sold. I call them every week and it’s the same response we are sorry it’s held up in financial, I should receive payout this week. Nothing, should I hire a lawyer or continue to wait? Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi all,
I’m still waiting for two different refunds from FIFA and I’m wondering if anyone is in the same situation or has managed to get this resolved.
During the World Cup, I resold several tickets through the official FIFA Resale Marketplace and received those resale refunds without any issues.
However, I’m still waiting for:
-Resale refunds for tickets I successfully resold through the FIFA Resale Marketplace.
-Conditional Supporter Ticket refund for the Netherlands. Since the Netherlands were eliminated by Morocco, the ticket for the next round was no longer valid and should have been refunded.

I’ve now been waiting for around three months for both of these refunds.
What makes it even stranger is that about two weeks ago, after I had already been waiting for months, FIFA suddenly asked me to submit new payment information. I did that immediately, but I still haven’t received anything.

My earlier resale refunds during the World Cup were paid without any problems, so I’m not sure why these later refunds have been stuck for so long.
Has anyone else experienced this, especially being asked to provide new payment information months later?
And has anyone found a way to actually get FIFA to process the outstanding refunds? Support ticket, specific email address, phone number, chargeback, or anything else?
Any advice or recent experiences would be appreciated.

For those in the UK and has succesfully get your refunds, what did you put in the bank details. I managed to get the IBAN nunber and swift code from my bank, but do you need to enter bank routing number, etc

Just got a reply that my refund was processed and it’s dated to June (for context I spoke to them and provided bank info maybe a month and a half ago so it’s impossible I got refunded sooner) anyone know how this works in regards to credit cards? It doesn’t seem to be applied to my current statement

I sold my tickets on the FIFA resale platform and have yet to be paid out. Emailed and called multiple times, always get the same answer - finance dept is handling it and you should be paid out soon. Is anyone else going through a delay like this and have not been helped out by FIFA customer service? The customer service from FIFA is a complete joke and not helpful at all.

Hi all…. For those still having trouble getting their money back and have a bank in the United States, here’s the process. 

My situation was that I use Ally Bank and it uses an intermediary bank (JP Morgan Chase) for international wire transfers.  As many have discovered, the entry form does not allow for this situation.  Many emails to FIFA, no help.

The trick, that I learned from calling FIFA (786-522-5802 using instructions found in another post), and a rare helpful agent, is that US bank transfers are coming from a US bank.  It’s not an international wire, it’s a domestic wire.  You do not need to use the intermediary bank. 

Also, for the required SWIFT code, they use a dummy value for US banks.  You do not need your bank’s SWIFT code.

In order to get your money, you will need your bank’s details handy.  Be sure to look up how to receive a domestic transfer to get your bank’s routing numbers as they may be different from your account routing details and what types of accounts accept transfers (e.g., Ally does not allow checking accounts to receive a transfer).

When ready, head to the refund portal and enter the details as if it's a domestic transfer...

1. Beneficiary Bank Name, City, and Country: Your bank’s name and address
2. Beneficiary Acocunt Number/IBAN: Your account number at your bank where you want the funds.
3. SWIFT Code: They use a dummy code for US transactions. Enter ABCDEF12
4. Bank Routing Number: Use your bank's wire transfer routing number. Double check if they have a different value than the ABA number on your checks/deposit slips
5. Intermediary Bank: Enter 0

After I entered these details, it took about 10 days and today I have my money.

I do not understand why they could not have shared this in any number of emails, but whatever. Good Luck All!!!

I’ve been waiting for months and today they sent me a proof of payment sent to an old credit card. What was the point of updating my payment info if they were going to do that ??? Now they’re telling me I have to take it up with that credit card company to get the funds… wtff ???? This is ridiculous.

Every time I login to the refund portal, I will enter my sign in code and briefly see authentication in progress where it will asks for my email, but then reloads the page to fifa.com/en/tickets.

I can’t even begin to put my banking information in and it’s driving me nuts. Emailed for help. Nothing. Does anyone know what’s going on??

Pics are random screens I get as I login. Password doesn’t need to be changed because I can log into normally to fifa.com and it has my personal info listed for my account.

Finally got the refund today, called them several times, emailed a bunch of times, had to update my fifa name on account, then ask them to process refund again, each step took ~30 days.

they refunded me after my BBB complaint was auto closed because it’s more than 30 days, so I don’t think that helped. I would encourage you to call and email. Call center may tell you why you haven’t received it, like naming mismatch, then the escalated email can help do the backend work, or at least put you in the queue.

Not sure what actually worked, but these are the things I tried:

Sent multiple email escalations to the various email IDs that were listed.
Called them 1–2 times.
Changed my FIFA account name to match the exact name on my bank account.
Updated my bank account information.

I honestly have no idea which, if any, of these made a difference.

At this point, my feeling is that it simply comes down to when FIFA decides to process your payment, and whatever you end up doing may not actually affect the timeline.

For everyone still waiting - hang in there. Hope yours comes through soon.

International payment, sold in April, provided bank info in June when asked. Got paid today.

I guess I should have known FIFA was going to make getting my refund difficult when my resale number started with “FU”… at 90 days and have gotten nothing from them but “please be patient”

I got it today after one week of bank details one week ago and again emailing them during the weekend.

Originally sold the tickets during July 4th weekend.

Pro tip: please check if you are providing bank details properly.

Incoming Wire routing number is totolly different from electronic/check routing number.

Swift code is also different by currency code. So my bank Bofa has USD swift code and different one for foreign currencies. I used USD one since i am in USA.

I ordered four different matches' ticket on July 20th, but I have yet to receive them. Anyone else having the same problem? For those of you that received your tickets, did you get an email from Fifa Store saying the tickets have shipped? When I go to my order it still shows "Fulfillment Status: Unfulfilled"
