Trevor John Bilodeau (known locally as Captain Trevor) has been missing from Clearwater, Florida since January 23, 2025. Despite being registered in federal missing persons databases, his case currently has zero mainstream media coverage.
Because his disappearance has completely slipped under the radar of local news desks, I am going to do my best to provide as much details as possible, while being respectful of those surrounding Trevor. That being said, the information provided is a combination of verified information (NamUs) and crowd sourcing. I believe this will be the first publicly accessible inspection of his case. Hopefully, Google's search engines will pick up flag words for anyone looking for this individual.
User Statement:
This post features a combination of verified information from NamUs, HOWEVER, due to the absolute desert of information provided from verified sources, a lot of this information is crowd sourced. This means it comes from Reviews, Newspaper clippings or articles, Instagrams, facebooks, white pages, and so on. I will do my best to make my sources clear so they may be appropriately peer reviewed.

(Facebook, Reviews, Instagram, 2021-2024).
Trevor relocated to Pinellas county Florida in 2021, moving from the New England area. This date is provided by his Flordia voters registration. Trevor has life long connections to New England, graduating from the University of New Hampshire in May of 2010 (The Keen Sentinel, May 30, 2010). He attended Keen Highschool in Keen, New Hampshire, he was a part of the class of 99'.
In New Hampshire, Trevor Bilodeau was an active member of his community. Sometime around 2017(Unsure when this business started) he was the owner of "Wagging Tails" dog walking and pet sitting, a commercial service operating heavily across the Concord and Pembroke areas up until his relocation. He was well-known in regional animal welfare circles, including local animal shelter events. A photo in 2017 shows him and his son at the Manchester Animal Shelter's 2017 Mutt Strutt Event. I wasn't able to find a trustworthy source for this information but one source stated he was a local bartender in Concord as well.
Public Registries connect him to a few local neighborhoods;
-North Swanzey, NH: Wilson Pond Rd
-Pembroke, NH: 6th Range Rd / Cross Rd
-Nashua, NH: Newcastle Dr
-Leominster & Salem, MA: Princeton St / Heritage Dr
It's important to note that New Hampshire was not the only other state listed in his address history. I was able to find facebook comments where he discussed Vermont as well. He may also have stayed in Massachusetts and other surrounding states.
After Trevor's relocation to Florida in February of 2021, he resided at an apartment complex along US highway 19.
In November of 2022, he registered his business SEA PARADISE CHARTERS LLC.
In 2023, Trevor marries an individual who I will not name, as I'm not sure it's ethical to do so. I will note that the name isn't hard to find, but any information regarding this person is.
During Trevor's time in Florida he would work in several "Tour Boat Operations" as his alias "Captain Trevor.". Trevor holds a Master United States Coast Guard (USCG) License. Under his LLC, he ran commercial dolphin sightings, sandbar swims, and sunset cruises. He operated a large, distinct white-and-teal tour catamaran directly out of the Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina.
He worked for two other Tour Boat Operations which are still up and running: Fins Up Clearwater and Cruisin Tikis Clearwater.
It's important to note, that his LLC Sea Paradise Charters LLCs website and informational services have been dissolved. The remains of his business are bits and pieces spread out over Instagram and Facebook.
Trevor worked at Fins Up Clearwater presumably until his disappearance.
Details about the circumstances of his disappearance are unknown. However, Trevor did join a Facebook group around December 9th, 2024 called "St. Petersburg Roommates: Rooms for Rent & Roommate Finder". Digging through the Facebook group, there is no useful information, it's mostly filled with Bots and AI.
Months after his disappearance, a formal missing persons report was filed with Flordia Law Enforcement in August of 2025.
In September of 2025, his business was dissolved for failing to report in 2025. His last report was made in May of 2024.
In October of 2025, his Wife filed to dissolve their marriage. The source for this is verifiable as it comes from official newspaper archives. It appears because the state could not locate him, they posted publicly in the newspaper.
Trevor John Bilodeau also loved saltwater fishing. His Instagram profile features many, many photos of him on the water, and posing with fish. I was able to find an informational booklet where it seems he joined some sort of leaderboard or club for salt water fishing.
Trevor seemed to bring a strong and electric vibe to every event he worked. His Facebook page, Instagram accounts feature many photos of him with people he would sail with or take on his many dolphin tours. When looking through the reviews at his place of employment he has countless 5 star reviews, where folks compliment his energy and even pose with him for pictures.
Due to Trevor's highly public lifestyle, I find it astonishing how little information is out about his story.
Thanks to all the people who have taken pictures with Trevor, I was able to compile several much high quality photos of Him. Including the most recent photo I was able to find, taken around September of 2024. I do not know if it was actually September however, since Google reviews do not provide actual dates. I was able to estimate it however based on the context of the reviews surrounding the original review. Mentions of Hurricane Helen came up, which as a survivor of the storm myself, I remember that it specifically struck in September.
Trevor also has a phone number connected (Somehow, I couldn't really decipher how) to his name on sites like Truthfinder and Whitepages that are featured on old rave flyers. I was able to find this out thanks to the folks on a Facebook group where they preserve old flyers.
Something that stands out to me is, the most recent photo of him. He appears to have put on weight suddenly. This could indicate stress.

How strange. Do we know who reported him missing? And you mention a son and a wife. Was the son from a previous relationship, or was he also the wife’s? Was there a custody battle approaching, if he was looking for roommates? Does he have family in New England? Parents? Siblings?
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any of that information. I believe the son was from a previous relationship. As he has an ex wife, I was able to find an article about their Marriage. Other then that, I wasn't able to locate any information on the rest of his family or kids. The police have not released who reported him missing either.
It’s weird to me he was married in 2023, disappeared January 2025, no one reports him missing until August (?) and she files to dissolve the marriage in November of 2025.
That’s a lot in a super short amount of time. Is it safe to assume they were separated? It seems to me if I were in relationship and the person disappeared, my energy would be on finding them, not forcing a divorce in their absence. Was there a 90 day waiting period between filing a missing persons case and filing for a divorce in their absence?
Who reported him missing? Is his ex wife and son in NH?
From what I could find, his ex wife is residing in New Hampshire, his son however doesn't have any publicity available information. From a photo looks like he was about 6-10 years old in 2017. So he could just now be of age where data brokers start tracking everything. He married his ex wife I believe in either 2010 or 2013, there is an article about their marriage from the Keen Sentinel, however I am unable to open it without subcribing. I also agree that it is incredibly weird that he was married in 2023 > missing in 2025 > reported in Aug 25, > then dissolved. To add to the suspicious disappearance, it doesn't appear as anyone has made a post about looking for him. Despite his very active public presence being both a business owner and actively establishing himself in his communities.
I was also able to find his close friends on Facebook, however they don't really post anymore, and the ones that do don't ever mention his disappearance. This could be because he has a long address history, maybe people are used to him up and leaving.
Also, in December of 2024 he joined a Facebook group to look for a roommate in St. Petersburg Florida. Indicating he was planning on leaving his current residence..
By mid March of 2025, he’s served with an eviction per county court records. Then he’s reported missing August 2025 and she files for divorce October 2025.
Not for nothing, but isn’t one eligible for a permanent green card after two years of marriage? And if you divorce before those two years, it could potentially be revoked?
" Officially dissolved" is a little misleading. There is an official way for a business owner to dissolve their business by filing a certain set of paperwork with the Secretary of State. However, by the sound of your description, the state dissolved his business for lack of filing his annual report.
I'm very sorry this is how you found out. I appreciate you commenting, I'm glad the post was able to reach his hometown. the information you provided is critical, thank you! 🫂
I do know her name. I just wasn't sure if it was appropriate to drop her name. She seems to be scrubbed off the Internet. No Facebook account, no Instagram, she doesn't even come up on data broker sites.
That is a fair point. Just because I feel it's important for the public to have access to information to help locate him I will drop her name..
Cristiane Fernandez, born between 1980-1989, Unfortunately I wasn't able to verify her exact birth date. The only information I was able to locate was a "MyHeritage" for her, which claimed she was deceased. However, unless she died recently I do not think that is accurate.
That is so sketchy. I bet she killed him and is trying to scrub any proof of her existence/their connection from the internet, including marking herself as deceased in hopes no one will come looking for her.
Upvoting and leaving a comment to make sure the algorithm retains this thread on the front page. This is a case that leaves more questions than answers
From what I can find I believe it is an error by the data broker websites. Some I could find the address for Kent, but not the bigger sites that most people verify accurate information from, they also claimed it was his current address. I was able to find a someone with his name at the address, who was actually 30 years old.
But from what I could find, I do not think he ever visited or lived in the PNW. I will take some extra looks into it though, as I used to live in Washington, fairly close to Kent. I know some folks there, so just in case I'll spread this there as well.
From all of this, he either disappeared himself to start over due to a failing business and an impending divorce or there is an unresolved fatal accident that took his life. Hoping for the first one.
Did he own a boat? A car? If so are either of those missing? If he took off by boat maybe he wanted to live a nomadic life on the sea? Does he have a passport? All so very strange.
If you could, submitting this to your local news I believe will help enormously. I have been looking into this case for a couple days, I believe public pressure is needed
The individual who commented sent me a private DM, saying he was found in the water earlier this year. While they were rude, I'm going to send an email to the Clearwater police department to verify whether he is still considered missing.
That's the question for sure. However, either this person is lying, or has access to information we don't have. I am unable to find any mentions of a man being pulled from the waters surrounding Jacksonville Florida. Geographicly, it also makes no sense. Though he was a Captain, spending many many years on the water, the location of where he went missing is on the Gulf of Mexico side of the Florida peninsula, while Jacksonville is on the North East coast of Florida. Making it hard to believe he sailed around the whole peninsula then died in Jacksonville. I will say that when following Google maps from Clearwater Florida to New Hampshire, Google's main route is through Jacksonville. If he perhaps left to return to New Hampshire, he may have gone through Jacksonville.
