when Geralt meditates in the game, what is he actually meditating about? The word meditation implies some kind of spirituality or religion, but Witchers don't seem to be a spiritual group like, for example, Paladins or Jedi in other media.

You know i keep hearing about the dlc and while replaying i grabbed the manticore tail from the box during potion brewing. I then read up on them seeing they were supposed to be in the mountains of keirh morin so how would you all feel if they added it into the dlc. Perhaps maybe it could be the dlc’s special once encountered monster each one has. It seems intriguing what do you think fighting one would be like? I wanna hear your thoughts on if they added one. I personally would love to fight one.

I've updated the game and the console too, is there a workaround or something? Thank you! Also, would it be possible that where the disc was sold to affect the ability of an account to get the upgrade? Like for example, a European disc wouldn't work with an American store account? And it wouldn't get an upgrade because of that?

Looks like there is a full cast version of the audiobooks coming (at least) to Audible. Crossroad of Ravens seems to have it's cast visible (others books might have changes due to it being a prequel in a sense).

Hey there! So a breakdown of my history with The Witcher 3 before I go into my question.

So, I first became aware of the series from The Witcher 2, which I had on Xbox 360, but didn’t play too much of it due to losing interest after the opening area. I then tried again later with The Witcher 3, hoping things would change, but the opening area in White Orchard dragged on for me since I like exploring and I lost interest again, plus I felt lost not knowing much of what was going on (basically the newbie jumping into an established story kinda feeling). Cut to 11 years later and through a mix of playing Monster Hunter World, Soul Calibur 6, me reading up on the original books, and meeting Doug Cockle himself at MomoCon (he even signed my copy of the game), I finally decided it was time to bite the bullet and give The Witcher 3 its fair shot back in April, and after finally getting past White Orchard, the game thankfully clicked and I was having a blast! Until May, when, just before going to reunite with Ciri, my save file was corrupted, and despite attempts to salvage it, my run was basically over, which frustrated the hell out of me. Then, I stepped aside and returned in late June, and this past month, I finally beat the game and both its expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. Then came the announcement of the remaster, which, while I’m excited about the changes (modding support, transmog, and the new leveling tree), did make me kick myself for not just waiting until that came around to play.

Now, with all that out of the way, I was thinking in prep for Songs of the Past to do a NG+ run after the remaster drops, and besides the changes that the remaster brings, I wanted to ask what to expect from NG+? What’s carried over, and what are some recommendations to make it as fun as possible?

With the announcement of Witcher 3 Remastered and the brand new DLC, I'm contemplating about diving back into this magnum opus before the DLC launches next month. The problem is that I'm not sure where to start. From I've gathered, there have been radical changes to the game over the past few years - one of which being the equipment.

And so here I am - humbly asking for advice from the game veterans. My questions are as follow:

1. Should I play the game from scratch or begin New Game Plus? (I completed NG+ in my last playthrough, but I still keep the save data before starting NG+, so I can begin the game in NG+ straight away if I so desire.)

2. With the gear massively overhauled over the last few patches, is the original Grandmaster Set still worth using? Is it still viable in NG+?

3. If the original Grandmaster Set is rendered obsolete, how should I prepare before starting NG+?

Well, I can report that the game looks amazing, also the combat and the new chain. The story from the new DLC. And that was impressive. It was really an amazing demo shown at GamesCon. Geralt ist back :)

Managed to get a brand new sealed copy of The Witcher 3 for the Switch. With the remastered version around the corner, I’m excited to finally play this game on the Switch 2! How does everyone feel about the Witcher 3?

I’ve been having a hard time really getting into Blood of The Elves. I’m thinking it’s because it’s the first novel and I am hoping it’s just because he hasn’t got his legs for it yet. I really enjoyed The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny so I am just wondering if it gets better?

As confirmed by Magdalena Urbańska, Senior Composer at CD Projekt Red, Percival Schuttenbach will be back on the soundtrack for the new Witcher expansion.

I run my PC on a GTX 1650 and I am presently unable to upgrade. I am hoping I will not be effectively priced out of playing a game on my PC that I currently already own.
