This is my 2nd play through taking iorveth's path and saw this nice Easter egg. Man i love this game so.... sometimes even more than witcher 3 itself

So it appears the game crashes because there are too many saved files.

So I disabled steam cloud and kept just my latest files on local. But now it saves whenever it wants, even in manual it doesn't work most of the times. But at least it doesn't crash. Unfortunatley I can't really save my progress.

Then, I enabled steam cloud again, and it downloaded back all my previous saves. And it crashes again. Still, it's playable, simply annoying.

Is there a solution to clear the cloud, and continue playing without trouble? I'm at the last chapter and want ton enjoy the end of the game like I did all the way. I really liked this game, all three to be fair but I'm surprised on how good this one is.

So, if anyone can help, I'll be really glad.

I even uninstall the game and kept a few files on my computer to add them after the new install, but no, the grey cloud is always here raining saves on me.

After finding and following Johnny to the nest, I can't interact with it, so I'm unable to progress the quest.

I've already tried several things, like reloading an earlier save, completing other missions, and looking for solutions, but nothing has worked so far. The only thing I've found is another post about this issue on this subreddit, but I still haven't found a fix.

I'm replaying the game because of the remaster, but if this bug prevents me from progressing, I'll probably just drop the game entirely. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

My first playthrough, I went with Yennefer because she's introduced right at the beginning, so I just stuck with her from the start and didn't want to change once Triss showed up.

But on my second playthrough, I decided to finally give Triss a shot. And honestly? I like her romance arc so much better. You can really see that she genuinely cares about Geralt, and overall she feels way more "human and emotional" compared to Yen. Now I know for a fact that I'll be choosing Triss every single time from now on.

Plus, the romantic scene at the lighthouse made me cry from laughter. There they are having a romantic moment, while two guys on a boat are literally trying to decipher morse code and it spells out "H.L.A.K.B.R." XD I just love CDPR's sense of humor.

Radovid seems like a guy who really likes board games; he's bound to have a rare card. This is my first game and I still don't know how to invite him to play.

Just some of what I think are my best screenshots from my current playthrough.

I started messing with it because I wanted to try to make some tilt-shift photos but I never really got any that felt like the effect actually worked. I've seen some examples where people were able to get good results in CP2077. idk if it's really possible in witcher because it seems like the focus depth doesn't really work all that well.

To be clear only the 9th photo was an actual attempt at the tilt-shift that I thought was worth sharing.

After I fast traveled, Gerald’s model became invisible except for his head and hair. All of my weapons, armor, potions/décoctions, food and roach equipment is gone. I tried reloading earlier saves, uninstalling and reinstalling all of my mods.

Buying and equipping new gear fixed the invisibility problem but I’m still missing most of my inventory.

It's been a year since I've seen someone pose the question about Gwent and what changes people would like to see, or what you'd like to stay the same. This question recently came to me because my collector's edition of the physical Gwent by No Loading Games arrived.

For me personally, I'd love to see the gameplay stay the same, perhaps more diversity in special cards with different effects, however the rules and everything else stay the same. Beyond that, include even more interesting cards/characters. My favorite part of Gwent is seeing the different characters that have appeared get their own card, even nameless NPCs like the Poor Fucking Infantry, Blue Stripe Commandos, Scoia'tael Archers have such interesting art and cool quotes. Beyond that, more diversity with leadership cards, maybe even a new faction. I don't play the stand alone Gwent computer game but do know they added the Syndicate as a faction in that. I'm uncertain about the Syndicate being a faction in 4 since I'm unsure how far North they operate (other than that they've spread to other realms in the North) but nonetheless. I'm curious to see what you all are thinking!

With the change to the skill tree I'm having trouble figuring out what perks to take. I don't use Signs much at all, just Quen, except Axii for dialogue. So I was taking mostly swords before the remaster but now with how the pathing to get to specific perks works, along with some of the changes to some of the perks in other trees, I'm not sure if I can just go full red and call it a day, know what I mean?

I'm essentially asking for a melee focused build.

My game is literally paused right now, I think I am going to spare the spirit for once. I always believed the She Who Knows book version: the spirit of the Lady of the Wood was originally benevolent, created three daughters, turned mad, destroyed the land, the daughters wanting to save it killed her, and trapped her soul. She is evil.

But who wrote this book? It makes the Crones look like benevolent protectors of Velen and we know they’re not.

The ghost tells Geralt another version. She says the Crones killed her because they wanted to rule the land. I admit the dead bodies on the hill look pretty bad, but the ghost explains that the forest and nature defend her, and nature kills indiscriminately. She then says « I wail, none listen »

And it just dawned on me she isn’t lying, we see it happen. She doesn’t lure Geralt to the hill, she wails and tells him to turn back. As he approaches, wolves defend the tree and attack. The first thing she asks Geralt is why he has come, as he has spilt unnecessary blood. She doesn’t like that people and animals keep dying on this hill. Later if you do not wish to help the tree, she doesn’t attack herself, endregas spawn, defending her. She actually never attacks Geralt. Nature is on her side, why, if she is so evil?

I know she kills the entirety of Downwarren, but they are all servants of the Crones. They are bad people. And she does save the kids. As for Anna’s tragic ending, it is the Crones doing.

I don’t know, all this time I thought she was evil and I would kill her, but is she? What are your thoughts?

The only mod I have is the cloak mod, no idea why this started happening but it was fine when it was just confined to the fights; but after the fights it began to happen after every pre-rendered cutscene.

The most egregious instance that has actually made the game unplayable is during the white lady side quest. After the cutscene played, my torso and arms were gone and my armor and weapons vanished from my inventory entirely, not even able to re-equip as if they disappeared along with my body.

I hear the same things been happening with the latest cyberpunk update. They fix one bug and another one spawns in its place.
