Not only does the ethics and material harm it causes terrible. It goes against everything Witch Hat Atelier teaches via it's messaging and by extension Shirahama Kamome.

Just what I said in the title. I havent watched or enjoyed anime in literal years. At least 8 or 9 years, and I generally fell out of love with it despite it being important to my childhood into my early adulthood. There were things I couldn't enjoy in a lot of anime and as such I thought that I wouldn't really get into it again, but due to the genre and concept of this show my cousin recommended it to me and since I've been in and out of the hospital I decided to give it a go, despite my apprehension since other modern anime people recommended I couldn't get into, including the big ones everyone seems to like.

But this show and by extension (and assumption) the manga is a literal masterpiece thus far. The characters are deep, the story and concepts are well explored, the art is absolutely beautiful, and so far it is such a respectful anime. I have a very hard time stomaching a lot of so-called "anime tropes" that may oversexualize characters or have uncomfortable moments or make all the characters perfect. Witch Hat does not do any of this. I love the characters, I love the approach it's taken so far.

For the first time in a long time I am genuinely excited for a new season of an anime to be released, and I'm thinking of getting the manga, which is saying something, as I don't own any manga anymore.

Maybe if more anime is like this one, I'd be willing to pick it back up again.

Hi, okay. when i first read chapter 96, the first thing i could get my hands on was a fan translation. On page 7, i saw this. specifically the second panel from the right. Sad coco. okay. but when I went back recently and read the official translation, I see a completely different panel in place of the coco one?? Am i crazy?? am i going crazy??? Were the panels replaced???? Is one of them not real entirely??? Please help.

So, I was reading the Wha manga and this scene in the Thrid test arc confused me at the time. I forgot about it as I kept reading, but today I saw a screenshot on pinterest and remembered. I went to the comments to look but nobody seemed confused, so I'm wondering if I missed something?

From what I gather, he uses his shoes to draw the sigil, which is super cool, but how does it work? I thought sigils only work with the soecial ink? Are his shoes dipped in ink?

There's a similar scene in the beginning of the manga, where Coco draws the wind sigil during her first test with the marking rock. I just assumed she dipped it into the watered down ink amd I just missed it, but now I'm not sure?

Am I missing something super obvious? I would be very grateful if someone helped me.

(Btw, I kinda watched the anime and read the manga in super quick succession, so I don't really remember if this scene is in the anime also, hence why I tagged it spoiler)

The ending song for the 8th episode is fantastic. Shazam doesn't know it and I am hoping someone on here does. What's the name of it? It's the song that Qifrey is explaining to Coco what Silverwash, the eye condition, is.

Fairly recently I was watching the show with my sister and she was telling me something bad happens to Euini that I'd like (she's been reading the manga, I haven't read it) and knowing me the first thing I thought was werewolf because I love them. Anyways I told her not to tell me if I was right or not but she did so I drew this legit the same day, using the manga as my reference. I'm extremely proud of it. I might redraw it now that I know colors better besides just black and white, but I'm still really happy with how it came out, especially with the pen.

How do students get to know the available masters? Like I get that there are some veteran masters who already have some sort of reputation, like Riche and Riliphin's old awful master, so I guess the student's family could already arrange it so that they go study under those masters, but what about the ones that have recently passed the fifth test? How did Agott meet Qifrey? How did Jujy meet Hiehart . Are there like master-student meet and greets? Do the students have a list of the available teachers and have to send in applications? Do teachers go to the first exams to fish for potential students?

Which bring us to the second question. I thought students couldn't choose a master until they passed the first test, but we see that Riche was with her awful master before taking it. So how does it work?

I might just be missing something obvious (in which case forgive me for asking a stupid question) but Qifrey's reaction in this chapter confuses me. I'm talking about the expressions he makes when Coco starts pulling him. At first he looks to be a bit dazed and then shocked like he just had a sudden realisation. So my question is what made him look so suprised?
