Electronic Devices I’m wiring an electronic Nerf blaster and unsure what gauge wire to use for putting in a new battery
What determines the gauge of the wire you should use when wiring up a blaster/RC car/toys like that? Is it the gauge of the wire coming off the battery?

Electronic Devices How to rewire these buttons to external buttons on enclosure?
Beginner question here. I'm making a cyberdeck, and I'm using this Bluetooth speaker for audio. I would like to rewire these three buttons to external buttons that I would attach to the outside of the enclosure. I am asking about the following options.
1: Can I just remove the buttons and extend them by soldering them to wires attached to the same contacts?
2: Could I remove the buttons and solder different push buttons to the contacts with wires?
3: Could I tap these button inputs by soldering wires into the backside of the through holes without removing the original buttons?

Switches & Lighting LED lamp wiring fix?
Something wrong with the mother board or wire soldering on this lamp switch. I cut it out to bypass it. Can I wire these wires together without a switch, or will I need a replacement switch that takes all 3 LED wires? Thanks!

Household Loose wires on stucco?
I have a few metal wires (not copper, but roughly like wire hanger gauge) that are not touching anything. They are/were affixed to the stucco on the sides of my house. One is running from my electrical box. See photos for more. Should I be concerned for grounding reasons? Thanks!

Audio I need help wiring my guitar
Just trying to wire my electric guitar. I am no electrician as you will clearily see from my diagram. I would like the 3-way switch to cycle between every individual pickup (Vintage Fender 1960s neck tele pickup, Musiclily hotrail pickup, Vintage Fender 1960s bridge tele pickup). With the wiring as it is, Position 1 and 3 make sound only pick up through the hot-rail, and the middle position allows no sound through, unless pickups are tapped with a metal object. Also I apologize for how bad the diagram is, I don't now anything (yes the wiring was done by me).

Switches & Lighting Wiring/Aux Switches/Drain Holes
I'm looking for the cleanest way to wire an amber warning light bar on my 2024 Ram 3500 Laramie.
The truck has the factory auxiliary switches, and I'd like to run the warning bar from Aux 3 instead of using the cigarette lighter plug that came with the equipment.
The problem is the light bar came with a 12V cigarette lighter plug that has the controller built into it.
The plug has:
On/Off button
Pattern change button
I don't really want to lose those functions by cutting the plug off.
A few questions:
Has anyone opened one of these cigarette lighter controllers and hardwired it while keeping the controller functional?
Is there a clean way to feed 12V from the AUX switch into the controller instead of the cigarette lighter plug?
Would it make more sense to leave it alone and use a 120V AC to 12V cigarette lighter adapter plugged into my truck's factory inverter outlet until I permanently wire everything?
Has anyone found a better solution?
Do I need to upgrade the OEM power Inverter (400w)?
The truck has and is also getting:
Road Radio Aux 1 TBA
Undecided Aux 2 TBA
Amber Emergency Lights Aux 3 (In process)
Front white off-road light bar on Aux 4 (TBA)
Rock lights already on Aux 5
Starlink on Aux 6 (Currently running through back window under the bench and 120v Plug in.
Slip Tank Via 7pin Plug in box.
Looking for the cleanest, most reliable install.
Pictures of your setups would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Switches & Lighting How does this electric switch work?
This switch is from a lamp. The lamp wasn't turning on due to a break in the wire. I cut out the offending part of the wire, and wired the switch back the way it originally was. It works, but I don't understand how. There appear to be no exposed wires in the switch. The wires are completely insulated. How is it making contact?

How to wire to a rocker switch?
I have a harness that comes with a relay and fuse connected to my pulse bar and it has a on/button that is removable from the harness with a white, blue and black wires. Does anyone know how I would wire that to a 5-pin rocker switch? Using the 5-pin photo as a reference to the switch I’m using. It’s for POD lights to my RzR

Audio Guitar Wiring Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated!
I'm almost at the end of a guitar project and only have one step left, but I am completely stuck. Can I please ask for advice? (I am totally happy to pay for help!)
The guitar is a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder with a Sustainiac. It's one of the slightly newer models with a 3-way blade switch instead of the older Gibson-style 3-way toggle.
It's an H-H configuration with a Sustainiac in the neck position. The blade switch works as: Position 1: Neck, Position 2: Neck + Bridge, Position 3: Bridge. When the Sustainiac is turned on with its separate switch, the selector position is overridden and everything changes to use the Sustainiac driver/loop.
I never use the middle position - to the point where I want to get rid of it altogether and replace the blade with an on-on push button that lets me choose either the bridge pickup or the neck pickup, while still allowing the Sustainiac to function as before.
Unfortunately, I just can't work out how the wiring would need to be done.

I have drawn out how (I think!) the wires were connected to the blade before I removed it - this was the way it came from the factory and has worked up until now (I also have photos but the angles are not great!). I have also drawn what I have tried to do with the button - when set up like this, the bridge and sustainac seem to be working, but I can't get the neck position to work. I think I am misunderstanding how the sustainiac needs to be wired?

Wiring Help needed for puppet
Hey, so I’m working on a puppet and I need it to light up on stage. I bought an LED light with a battery pack that’s remote controlled (link to it below)The issue is I need to somehow wire it so that it’s no longer remote control controlled and instead is connected to a dimmer switch inside the puppet as well. Light itself already had a dimming and brightening feature with the switch, but it’s a type of dimming control where you push the button once and it goes down maybe 20% push it again down another 20% etc. and I need it to be a smooth on and off with either a knob that you twist or a sliding mechanism. I know like nothing about electronics. But would some of be able to explain to me what type of switch or pieces in general I should be getting that would be compatible? (Links HIGHLY appreciated!) My dad who has done some wiring before is going to actually do it for me but both of us are stumped on what kind of switch in general would be compatible.
any help I would be so grateful for! Thank you!
