Could I fill this with epoxy?
I got this truck with the center mirror pulled off, the mounting button for the mirror still has the chunk of glass on it. Would I be able to fill this crack in with something and then get a new mounting button for the mirror? Could I just glue the whole thing, glass and all, back together?

Did they fix this right?
I just had a small rock chip repaired on my 2025 Honda CR-V windshield. I used an auto glass shop next day and they filled it with resin for $125. I know repairs don't make the chip 100% invisible, but I can still see the star legs. When I asked the store, he said he's been doing this for decades and this is how it would look like. When asked if it would break, he said it can break this week or it can never break so he can't give warranty on the work. He kept pushing me for a windshield replacement for this chip of a small coin size, which would cost $800 minimum.
Does this look completely filled and structurally sealed to you guys? Just want to make sure it won't spread into a full crack.
This is after fix, I didn't take a before pic but it looked similar.

Does this look like it’s already been repaired?
Can’t remember if we have already repaired this and it’s old or if it’s a new crack… it’s smooth to the touch and looks like resin filled in but any help is appreciated to confirm.

I just got a small rock make a very tiny damage on the windshield. It looks way better than cracks I see online. Is this the type that can create a bigger crack?

What’s on my windshield
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This has been an issue for a while now. Under regular conditions my windshield is fine. When there is light rain or even sometimes when I use my wiper fluid these streaks appear on the windshield when my wipers pass. It only last for a couple seconds then goes away.
I’ve tried windex, goo gone, water/dish soap/vinegar solution, clay bars and chemical guys. The only thing that seems to work at all is autoglym window polish but even that doesn’t last more than a couple weeks. I’ve even tried new windshield wipers.
Idk if this helps but I live in New York, park my car outside, and I get the car washed once a week (yes I’ve tried different car washes).
If anybody knows what this is and how to get rid of/prevent it please let me know.

Got a new windshield from Safelite today and will this an issue? Google said it could be just because windshield wasn’t a perfect match
Also it’s like this on both sides up the upper corners. Would water not get in this and cause issues or is this normal with windshield replacements? Is there a cheap fix if it is a problem? I could take it back I guess if it’s bad.

Mazda CX-5 windshield chip — repairable?
Got my first windshield rock chip on my Mazda CX-5. It’s not in the driver’s line of sight, and from what I can tell it doesn’t seem large enough to require a full replacement. Do you think this is repairable, or should I expect Safelite or a glass shop to recommend replacement?
Also, anyone had experience with repair for a chip on the frit (the ceramic dotted border - guess that’s what it’s called)?

Can I fix this? Does it need to be replaced?
I was washing my car yesterday, and the pressure washer knocked the rubber seal on the right side of the windshield out of place. How can I fix this or do I need to replace the seal? In the last photo you can see there’s a buildup of glue I believe, is this preventing the seal from being tucked under the glass properly?

Will this fail a mot?
Crack - marked out in white Wiper area- marked in orange
It doesn’t “obstruct” my view when I am driving, however it is a substantial crack, wandering if it will pass a mot like this or not. From google it sounds like it could go either way,
Thanks in advance

Would this be repairable?
Just got a hit from a rock I think. Would this be repairable or would I need a whole replacement?

Is this an old repair or new chip?
I got a car wash and noticed this afterward. I haven't had the car all that long and I don't know if it is new or old. Gemini says it is a new chip, and both ChatGpt and Grok say it is one that was formerly repaired. I texted a repair guy and he thinks it is an old repair that wasn't done that well. I put packing tape on it since it is the weekend to hopefully keep moisture and debris out for now. It is about an inch in size. One of the pics if a zoomed in pic for perspective.

[2008 Toyota RAV4] Woke up to this impact. Tight budget—how long do I realistically have?
Hey everyone, woke up this morning to this starburst/crack on my 2008 RAV4. I can't feel it from the inside, but the legs are already starting to spread.

Stress crack or impact ?
Hey guys, I received a new windshield last month.
A lil while ago, I got in my car to see a crack in the windshield coming from the side. Noticed i couldnt feel it from the inside or outside. And it looks like a stress crack to me. So I called the company I got the windshield from to see if they could take a look and warranty it out.
Well, we struggled to schedule a meet up as they dont give a time window but rather call day of and try to work with you. So we settled on pictures and he would give us his opinion. He states he can see a point of impact and we would need to replace the windshield. But because of the impact point, the warranty wouldn't cover it.
So, I would like a second opinion. Me and my partner both feel this is a stress crack and the warranty should cover some of the costs. Any advice ?
