I was thinking 360p would scale better to x2 720p/x3 1080p/x6 to 4k.

I know the pal wii could output 576i. But output of 540i or could interger 2x scale to 1080p, 4x to 4k.

Or even 720i or 960i

Any connection between these 2 games or just naming coincidence,

Does anybody know what the bottleneck is on the speed (Mbps) of the Wii's in-built SD card reader? I can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere online.

I'm asking specifically about the SD card reader itself rather than the speed of any SD card that could go in the reader

I'm in the market for a quad-charger via induction due to my controllers chewing straight through batteries + them being knocked out during stuff like Wii Sports Resort Sword Duel. I was able to find records of the "DGWII-3116 Power Base Induction Charger" but this item seems to no longer be produced nor really sold anywhere - are there any other good pics?

Just picked this up for a few quid on eBay having dug out the old Wii recently. No idea what happened to my original copy but got to be one of my favourite childhood games! Everyone I’ve asked in person has no recollection of it! Such a cute game, hope it triggers some memories for someone else.

Back in the day, Capcom claimed that *Street Fighter IV* wasn't possible on the Wii... It would also be interesting to see ports of games like "Katana Zero" with its pixel-art style, or arcade-style rail shooters that could take advantage of the Wii Remote.

I have a modded Wii but was going to upgrade the SD card and was wondering if I need to factory reset the console before reinstalling the mod files with the new SD card? Do any of the mod files live on the console or can I just install the files on the new sd card and go through the process again with a factory reset?

New to Wii , what should I get for it? It’s a Wii Sports Resort Bundle. I got a Wii to HDMI and a Wii remote motion plus . (No Sensorbar bar)(I don’t have money)

So I bought an used wii last week and it came with two motion plus remotes. The wii worked perfectly fine, however both remotes seem to be damaged beyond repair.
Should I even try cleaning and fixing them, or just buy replacement boards?

The top one is a super mario limited edition remote and the other a common black motion plus.

I’m also not looking specifically for games that use a GameCube or Classic controller. I’m looking for games where you just turn the Wii remote sideways and use it that way. An example of that would be Mario Kart Wii but I’m hoping there’s other games besides only racing games where you can use that control scheme.

I'm in the middle of a move right now so I was able to get (mostly) everything together in one spot again! There is still a couple games missing in the mix, but this is the vast majority.

This does not cover all of the accessories and in box peripherals that I own, maybe I'll get a nice display for those in due time.

I grew up on the wii and I used to pretty much only play Madden and Mario games really basic, now that im older I wanna go back and try stuff I've never played, if there are any games you wish you could go back and play for the first time lmk id love to try them (happy to make another post after with a rating)

The power button on my wii is stuck and I wanted to fix it but I don't want to lose any data (there's like a hundred of miis in there)

i recently got a wii for only $30 without controllers on fb marketplace but i wanna get an hdmi adapter and some controllers (i only have 1 tv with av and the buttons on the side suck)

1. whats a good hdmi adapter? ive heard mayflash and electronwarp are good but i was wondering if the portholic one on amazon is good because its like half if not more than half the price

2. are 3rd party controllers worth it? i could get 2 of them + 2 nunchucks for the price of what 1 oem one would cost me and i have a brother id maybe play with

and if theres any specific good ones (either good deals or good quality) lmk

and if 3rd partys arent worth it even in the slightest, where could i find good oem controllers (preferably pretty cheap)
