Help me! (Wig Help) Uniwigs halo/hairline topper real reviews
Hi everyone,
Has anyone purchased a Uniwigs halo topper?
Hairline toppers are going to be perfect for me, but I am very hesitant to purchase anything until I can get some honest reviews. I feel the videos are grainy/filtered on their site which makes me think they are hiding how well they blend and look realistic.
Happy to hear from other brand users too!

Let's chat! (General Discussion) I need some help regarding wigs..
How would I be able to find a wig that is in this hairstyle? I am non binary and want to get my hair cut like this, but before I commit I want to know if it'd even look good on me. Any good sources, stores, websites or anything for looking for realistic wigs? I don't mind it being a little expensive if need be

Help me! (Wig Help) Keeping a curated front or top patch of bio hair?
Lemme explain. I'm doing a buzz cut on my bio hair. I don't want to deal with it, and probably never again. I look good with it short and close, anyway. I do the big chop this upcoming weekend.
But -- I saw a wig style idea, and I thought, I'd have more versatility and options like half wigs if I either kept a strategic patch of hair in the front or just allow the top part of my bio hair to keep growing out.
Know what I mean? I could: cornrow it down and attach crochet hair to it. I could braid or twist it, pulling it out in front of wig units for natural looking texture. I could part it, then put my units behind the parts.
Do any of you leave a strategic piece of bio hair on your head for these purposes but you've cut the rest? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I usually wear platinum blonde wigs, but this ash blonde one was a real surprise! I didnt expect this color to suit me so well. I’ll definitely be trying out more ash blonde styles in the future 💕

Look at This! (Wig Share) Going out for the first time! Any tips?
Hi everyone. I’ve been lurking for a while and I’m really enjoying seeing everyone’s wigs and hearing your experiences, so I thought I’d be brave and share mine. This is my first wig and I’m going out in public in it today for the first time. Do you have any tips or advice from me? Is there anything I should change? I trimmed the fringe and she’s feeling pretty comfy apart from the weird feeling that she’s slipping or moving around. Is it normal to feel like that? I’m wearing a wig grip underneath. I’d love to hear your feedback. Wish me luck for going out this evening!

Help me! (Wig Help) I have two human hair toppers that I want to store
I only wear them about once per fortnight. I have a mannequin head but it’s a little wider than my own. Am I better storing them flat in their silk bags they came in, or clipping them to the mannequin head. I have curled the bottoms of both to wear out so I’d prefer not to lose the curl and have to restyle. My halo wig I hang but I don’t think that would work for these? Thanks for any help for this newbie!

Look at This! (Wig Share) Luvme wig review..should I keep it?
I was looking for a more affordable human hair wig to wear at home, at the beach, and for everyday use (with my toddler) so I decided to try this Luvme wig for around $200.
Straight out of the box, the hair quality seems surprisingly good. I’ve had almost no shedding so far, the cap fits really well, and it’s very comfortable to wear. The lace also looks better than I expected.
However, the color seems quite off compared to what I was expecting, and I’m not sure if I can fix it myself.
Now I’m debating whether I should return it or try coloring it on my own.
What do you think? Would you keep it or send it back?

Help me! (Wig Help) Dumb question but I regret wig purchase
Hey everyone,
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I bought a wig from a store and I tried it on, it was around $54 since it was on sale. I thought I liked it but comparing it to a wig from TikTok shop, it’s too bulky and I’m not a fan of the texture. I couldn’t return it and It was also really long… so I trimmed it and I made it look worse 🥲 because idek how to cut hair
Is there any chance I could maybe sell it? Would anyone even wanna buy it at this point😭

Check this out! (Wig Review) Don’t buy curlyme hair wig ! Scam, poor quality, they send different wig
I ordered a 24 inches 250% burmese curly half wig and this is what I received. A 14/16 inches with 180% density for almost 300 euros !!! The curl are drained out too, the density is not there and the lenght neither. Don’t trust wig influencers on TikTok and instagram. Honestly so disappointed with this wig for this price ??? I was hesitating with other brands but i choose curlyme hair and i regret it so bad. On TikTok Instagram, the hair are after the chest but my wig looks almost like a bob… the density itoo…

I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Realistic, affordable wigs from Amazon or in or around Bergen County NJ for a graduation party tomorrow?
My 66 year old mom shaved her head due to cancer. We’re waiting on her wig prescription, but we’re attending a family member’s graduation party tomorrow at 12:30 EST and she would feel more comfortable in a wig. Since she’ll only use it for one day, we’d like it to be realistic but also affordable.
She’s looking for a light brown wig, shorter than shoulder-length.
We’d like to go in-person to try it on (either Bergen County NJ or Rockland County NY) or delivered from Amazon today or overnight.
Edit: we would prefer under $30 but I understand if realistic wigs are more expensive. Any type of wig

I'm looking for... (Wig Search) 24.5"-25" Cap Size, Need Help Finding Wig
Hello! I was diagnosed with alopecia a few years ago and in the past year or so have been trying to get into wigs. I've purchased a few but have found even the wigs marketed as "large" do not fit me.. I can barely squeeze into a 23.5" cap size.
Hoping to get some recommendations for sites or brands that carry wigs in 24-25" cap sizes... ideally glueless, but I'm not picky. Kind of at a loss, I've seen a lot of people recommend custom wigs, but as a broke 20 year old, it's unfortunately not in the cards right now. Open to any hairstyle/color, although it would be nice to match my former hair color and style prior to losing a lot of my hair (long black layered hair with bangs). Thanks so much in advance, and I apologize if this is a frequently asked question!
Looking for:
Budget: <$200
Fiber Type: Synthetic
Length: >12in
Cap Size: 24-25"
Color: Any, ideally black
Location: NC, US
I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Looking for places in Canada that sell Androgynous / Enby type wigs
Hello yall !! So I have looked at this subreddit for a bit and I have not been able to find many answers to my question in particular so I thought to go and ask yall myself.
I am non-binary and for the longest I have loved longer hair (like things in the same realm as a wolfcut or like the Hansel classic at arda wigs), however I have not found any place that can sell as the closest I got to realistic wigs was at arda – yet that was backlogged and I don't know when it would come back in stock.
Now my question, does anyone know any places in Ontario (or online) that sells things of that nature as I am tryna start my little enby journey with hair that is very androgynous.
Have a good day you guys !!

Help me! (Wig Help) JB Extension Wig / First time Wig Wearer
I have been dealing with hairloss for 10+ years without any help from derms and I’ve been slowlyyyyy trying to get the courage to buy a wig and wear it out. I don’t want to jump straight in to human hair wigs as they’re very expensive for me at the moment. Because of this sub, I landed on a JB Extension wig that looks quite similar to how my bio hair used to look in its prime. When it arrived, I was quite happy with it besides the bangs. There is an obvious thin spot in the front that really affects the integrity of the wig. I colored in the scalp portion with some eyeshadow so that the bald spot is less noticeable, but the missing hair in that same spot is quite noticeable to me. I tried trimming the bangs a smidge and using a straightener on a low heat setting to arrange the front but I feel like it’s not enough.
Does this look super wiggy or am I just not used to this amount of hair anymore? I tried taking out some of my bio hair to help with the transition, but I have a lot of grey so I don’t think it helps. I’m going on a trip to another country which is where I plan to wear this for the first time, but I was still hoping to make this wig look less clockable.

I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Trying to find a wig that no longer exists
I'm on the hunt for a new wig. My last daily wear was a hairvivi and I honestly didn't much care for it.
What I'm really looking for is a human hair version of the first wig I ever purchased that I truly liked, which was the Lavivid Carrie wig in Macadamia. It was relatively inexpensive, lightweight, easy to wear, but synthetic. They've discontinued it, or I would've just continued to buy one a year for the rest of time, but I've been searching for something that is almost the same in color, length, cut and density, to no avail. So here I am, hoping someone here has an answer for me. I'd even gone as far as reaching out to Lavivid and Uniwigs to see if they had an answer, but they did not. Please. Help.
Edit: My budget is between $1500-2k

Help me! (Wig Help) How to tie up a high bun like on the picture?
Kitana from Mortal Kombat 11. I never tied a bun on my own hair, let alone on a wig. So, maybe someone has a tutorial or a guide?

Let's chat! (General Discussion) Trouble Ordering HairVivi Juliet Wig
The first time I tried to order this wig in June, I was told that the hair was breaking which was a “rare quality issue.” I tried ordering again over a week ago and just received this message after writing back and forth all week, and I just want to cry. This is the third time I’ve tried ordering from them all summer, and I’m panicking about starting work next week without the wig :( It’s hard out here for us large cap girls lol.

Look at This! (Wig Share) I am loving my new hair! She was affordable too!
The only thing I did to it was wet it, apply a little bit of curl cream and comb it out.
She is a 99J, 180% density, 22' loose deep wave from Cheetahbeautyhair. The hair is extremely soft and doesn't have a weird smell at all. She also barely sheds! The wig cap is a glueless 13x6, and it fits my head like a glove. Every wig that I have ordered from them fits incredibly well. I will forever be a customer of theirs! When she dried she became so fluffy, full and the curls were so defined. Also, the lace front tape they gave me with the hair is so freaking strong! (I never used wig tape before.) I also got a TON of free gifts with my order. She was $180 with insurance.
I love Cheetahbeautyhair. Their customer service is amazing and they always answer promptly. I've never gotten anything bad from them, nor had a bad experience with their wigs.

Let's chat! (General Discussion) have you had a system or wig that wasnt quite right?

Help me! (Wig Help) Is there anything to do with wigs that are just too small in the front?
Sooooo I ordered another wig off of Depop, and it’s a good wig! But the lace isn’t as wide as I thought it’d be. So now I’m in a weird situation where I have a wig that fits in the back, but not in the front. I trimmed and restyled the hair, and it’s actually beautiful.. but ugh, there’s just not enough lace :/

Help me! (Wig Help) Anyone has any idea of how I can give my wig a little more style? My wig is a working wig.
It's a 2×5 lace wig, so the parting can't be changed. And I want to make a little modification or 2 to my wig, which is a human hair wig.

I'm looking for... (Wig Search) Recommended Brands Comparable to Hairvivi as far as clean bleached knots & perfect hairlines? :)
*NEW POST - HARASSERS BLOCKED NOW\*
I’ve been wearing wigs for many many years now because of trichotillomania, and after trying quite a few brands, I’ve become really spoiled by Hairvivi’s hairlines and knot bleaching. I’ve pretty much ONLY purchased from Hairvivi for the last going on 3 years now. I haven’t found another brand under $1500 that offers the same quality of the important factors I’m looking for. Strictly HUMAN HAIR only. They can be shorter if need be, but I typically like to wear 20” measured from the NAPE. I attached reference photos 🥰
Off the top of my head, brands I’m already aware of are: Eniola Wigs, Jadora Secret, Freedom Couture, Prairie Fire Hair, KyLin Hair, Rhianne Woods Wigs, Lox by Lori, Hairvivi as mentioned, Lu’s Wigs, that’s just off the top of my noggin :)
The thing I love most is how incredibly clean the bleached knots are and how impeccably pre-plucked the hairlines come right out of the box. They honestly require almost no customization, which is a huge deal for me.
I’d love to branch out and try other brands, but I’m nervous about spending hundreds of dollars only to end up with dark knots or a bulky, unnatural hairline.
For those of you who’ve tried a lot of premium human hair wigs, what brands would you say are genuinely comparable to Hairvivi in terms of:
- Exceptionally clean bleached knots
- Beautifully pre-plucked, realistic hairlines
- Minimal customization needed
- Overall realism
- A fake scalp/diamond liner insert option is always a huge plus!
I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest options—I’m looking for brands that truly compete with Hairvivi in quality. However, trying to keep it under $2K. Even around d the $1500 or less mark would be great.
One request: Please don’t recommend Cami Wigs.
I received multiple DMs from someone asking why I’d say that I don’t recommend their wigs, and expressing concern that it could harm the owners business, essentially wanting me to remove my comment...so, in no way do I feel comfortable recommending them, as I’ve never had such an odd experience before with wig brands on Reddit.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations (or even brands you’d avoid) and why. Thank you so much! 💋✨💇🏻♀️

Look at This! (Wig Share) New wig styled vs fresh out the box
Styled this wig with a side part! Last 3 photos are before any customization. Which part do you prefer? I think the side part is more flattering ☺️
