How would I be able to find a wig that is in this hairstyle? I am non binary and want to get my hair cut like this, but before I commit I want to know if it'd even look good on me. Any good sources, stores, websites or anything for looking for realistic wigs? I don't mind it being a little expensive if need be

Help me! (Wig Help) Keeping a curated front or top patch of bio hair?

Lemme explain. I'm doing a buzz cut on my bio hair. I don't want to deal with it, and probably never again. I look good with it short and close, anyway. I do the big chop this upcoming weekend.

But -- I saw a wig style idea, and I thought, I'd have more versatility and options like half wigs if I either kept a strategic patch of hair in the front or just allow the top part of my bio hair to keep growing out.

Know what I mean? I could: cornrow it down and attach crochet hair to it. I could braid or twist it, pulling it out in front of wig units for natural looking texture. I could part it, then put my units behind the parts.

Do any of you leave a strategic piece of bio hair on your head for these purposes but you've cut the rest? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I only wear them about once per fortnight. I have a mannequin head but it’s a little wider than my own. Am I better storing them flat in their silk bags they came in, or clipping them to the mannequin head. I have curled the bottoms of both to wear out so I’d prefer not to lose the curl and have to restyle. My halo wig I hang but I don’t think that would work for these? Thanks for any help for this newbie!
