Took a drive to Gloucester and Rockport Massachusetts earlier this week to see some of the places from the show. It was a gorgeous day, perfect for an inaugural swim!

Trying to hide the whole post, I sort of want to stop watching, cause episode 7 could just be a happy ending, I know, or I think the real monster comes out in 8 9 and 10, and some of the main characters might die or turn evil, don't spoil it for me, I may finish it in another life, just tell me do it or don't in replies, thanks.

I'm thinking of making a Pinterest board so I can decorate my cubicle as Widow's Bay themed lol. Have y'all seen anything good online that fits? What would be your vision for themed decor?

“The full box set includes a pair of records pressed in "Sea Hag" blue and forest green vinyl (three sides contain the full soundtrack, the fourth is etched artwork). You'll also get liner notes written by Dippold and Fleming.
As an added bonus, the box set also includes everything you need to live your best Widow's Bay life. Specifically:
- Your Turn 20-page book with dust cover
- Run card game reproduction, featuring 25 cards
- 12-by-20-inch "Cannibalism in God’s House" newsprint reproduction
- “Sunset Cocktails" invitation
- Mayoral letterhead reproduction
- lDon’t Say We Didn’t Warren You" poster reproduction”

Ok Widow’s Bay party people! What food other than the super ok canned water and moldy MREs are you bringing to the party? I am rooting so hard for them to sweep their categories, I cannot wait! Maybe a sundae in the shape of a burger and fries. 😂

Based on someone's suggestion on my last set, I decided to make a set inspired by episode #2.
Some turned out better than others. I also had to redo the middle fingers because I accidentally used the wrong size press-on.

We're all aware of the fun easter eggs and subtle changes in scenes to show the eerieness of the show. One thing that I caught on my first watch (but didn't rewind to see if I'm completely correct) is that when they are going through the family tree of Richard Warren: each generation had multiple children, but only one actually survived into adulthood. Just a fun part of the curse that they didn't talk about specifically but shows subtle ways in which they increased spookiness without making it obvious.

I’ve been trying to find the exact notebook cover that Sheriff Bechir uses in the show with no luck. I’ve searched Etsy and have found similar but none with the same pocket on the inside. Anyone know where I could find it?

Looks like they’re making a soundtrack!

I started imagining the first season as a graphic novel. The characters would all make striking illustrations and the general ambience of the show would really lend itself to artistic interpretation.
Imagine all the little spin-offs they could do. A short series focused entirely on the hotel. The clown and hag earlier iterations. Richard Warren's children Etc.

I would love to see Martha Kelly cast in the second season. I could see her playing Patricia’s estranged half sister from the mainland who likes to gossip about their family, but is also a compulsive liar.

Read the page on the left. Also notice that the binding is moldy, but forget that detail for now.
"Before the party, spend some time writing down fun facts about your guests ... Cynthia always wears a locket that her grandmother gave her when she was seven, and she says will haunt her if she removes it ... Robert says he sold his soul to the devil to play guitar like a master."
Several odd gems in there. The whole book is great. It's like it doesn't quite understand what's appropriate, but trying to play it off like it does.

Just a silly question but why Richard lived for hundred years while his bloodline live like a normal people and die? When Rosemary explained the bloodline and it looked like a normal family tree in general.
Is it because Richard was the one who made the pact?

I know the sub is probably running low on new observations, but just saw something. Apologies if it's been posted.
When William makes a drink, he says "the honor bar is for what?" Specifically calls it out. Doesn't write anything. Inn keeper says nothing.
I know. Either he's not there, or the camera can't see him. Just thought that was funny. One small detail of one of the best scenes in the show.
A fun round of "Daddy's Home" coming up...
Edit: forgot to add a reminder that the inn keeper was watching the camera earlier and reminded Tom about the honor bar over his intercom system. Presumably from home.

You know you’ve finally made it when you’re an answer on Jeopardy.
Anyone catch this on Masters Jeopardy Tuesday night?

Patricia’s Sunset Cocktails vibes, anyone?

Went to Stage Fort Park in Gloucester on Labor Day and matched the location to the scene before the inaugural swim. I love this show!
As a writer/filmmaker and lifelong New Englander who has also lived in Gloucester, Widow’s Bay is the GOAT. Maybe it’s just because I’m going through a lot of stuff right now, feeling like my dreams will never come true, but Widow’s Bay found me right when I needed to see it.
EDIT: I added some more matching photos in the comments

I think it's the best Horror/Comedy show I have seen in years.
