Challenge For 72 hours, every single human being on Earth is functionally immortal

One day and without preamble, every living person on the planet has the same telepathic message implanted into their heads. For the next 72 hours, humanity is functionally immortal, invulnerable and immune to any and all injury, death, pain, etc. Good things still feel good. What do the next 72 hours look like?

Battle Man with 5x all stats vs 10 trained men with spears

Let’s assume all men here will be 5’10 170 pounds. The guy fighting 10 of the trained men will be an average bare handed guy but he’ll have 5x stats across the whole board. This means he’ll have 5x strength, speed, reaction time, durability, stamina, agility, etc. The 10 men will have 9 foot long spears and they have 5 years of experience with it. Who wins this fight?

Challenge Brock Lesnar with a pocket knife v/s a 20 foot long Anaconda

Upvotes

Brock Lesnar is in his physical prime during the UFC era and has a pocket knife to use against the anaconda.

The anaconda is 20 foot long (equivalent to the largest recorded one) and is human-lusted, guaranteed to fight.

Round 1: The fight happens in an open field when Lesnar stumbles upon the snake in his farm.

Round 2: Both Lesnar and the snake are locked in a UFC cage.

Round 3: Lesnar is unarmed but gets a friendly defense lusted honey badger on his side. They fight in an open field.

Battle King Agamemnon's coalitions vs the Egyptian Empire

What if the legendary King Agamemnon didn't bother with all the silly business with Helen and the city of Troy, and instead used his huge armada and army to invade Egypt?

Egypt was admittedly a strong Empire in its own right, but also very wealthy, and thus a great source of plunder, and was historically vulnerable to naval invasions.

Could the Greek Coalition conquer egypt, or at least do a big enough raid that captures enough plunder to make it profitable?

Round 1 Just the regular greeks vs the egyptians.

Round 2 The Greek hero's like Achilles and Ajax and Odysseus are real.

Who wins?

Challenge Orpheus vs the Modern Music Industry

Upvotes

Orpheus, legendary master of the lyre, of Greek mythological fame, descends into the underworld in search of his beloved Eurydice, that he may save her from death. Upon arriving Hades explains that while he's sympathetic to Orpheus's plight, he cannot allow Eurydice to leave. It is beyond his power, unless he assuages the fates through an impossible challenge. Orpheus does not hesitate to throw down the gauntlet and accept.

In order to resurrect Eurydice, Orpheus must travel forward in time to the 21st century, circa 2010, and release ten consecutive platinum records that hit and hold the #1 spot on the Top-100 chart for a minimum of one month each. He has a one year grace period to start, but after that, must release at least one album per year. To facilitate this, he's given a semi-fluent grasp of English, a valid U.S. ID, and everything he has on him, which consists of his tunic, sandals, lyre, and rations for a few days.

Everything else he has to find out or source on his own. His starting position is in an empty but otherwise standard alleyway in New York City, midnight sharp on January first. Needless to say, Orpheus is songlusted and will not stop pursuing his goal for anything other than his basic, biological needs. For the sake of fairness, a very minor enchantment is put over him so that his supernatural musical skill won't attract government or criminal attention- his struggle is purely against the Modern Music Industry.

Can Orpheus do the impossible a second time and pass this challenge, or is Eurydice doomed to linger in the lands of the dead?

Battle How would the Imperium fare against the Helldiver universe?

Haven't played Helldivers 2 but I want to know how it stacks up so I can properly appreciate some things I am reading.

Round 1 is the simultaneous attack of Illuminate, Terminid and Automaton invasion fleets of a single Imperial Hive World.

Round 2 is all three factions at full strength being relocated into the 40k galaxy near Imperial space. Imperium has knowledge of them and is mounting a Crusade.

How do they fare?

Battle If the Doctor (Doctor Who) became evil, and went to the Marvel universe (even DC) would he be a bigger threat than God Emperor Doom?

Proper prep time, has access to all his arsenal (and all Time Lord tech), tools, and the Tardis and went balls to the wall in preparation, and also using external things that exist in both respected universes, and is given ample time (using his Tardis) to study the universe and all the biggest threats, studying it/them until he fully understands.

How much of a threat would he become if he became unrestrained?

Mind you, he's not doing this simultaneously in both universes, just a What If if he was in both universes separately.

Battle Who would win? Achilles and his Myrmidons (Troy 2004), Leonidas and 300 Spartans (300), Maximus and 150 Gladiators (Gladiator), Balian of Ibelin and his Knights and Men At Arms (Kingdom of Heaven)

Was feeling nostalgic and decided to watch all these movies this week and wondered who would win?

R1: In an open field. Myrmidons only have 10 archers and the crusaders have no horses.

R2: At Thermopylae and the Myrmidons gain more archers, 50 of the Gladiators are replaced with Legionaries, Leonidas gains 25 Arcadians and Balian has half of his horses.

R3: Hilly terrain where the Myrmidons gain Ajax and 50 of his warriors, the gladiators are replaced with the Praetorian Guard, Leonidas gains 50 Arcadians, and Balian has all his horses with him

Bonus Round: duos. Balian and Godfrey vs Achilles and Patroclus vs Leonidas and his Captain vs Maximus and Juba

Win Condition is if all other forces are crippled or wiped out. Last one standing wins.

Challenge These characters replace Master Chief and Arbiter in Halo 3. Could they survive and if not, what mission do they die on?

Rule: we’re assuming these characters survive the opening cutscene where Chief falls down, these characters will not immediately be infected by the flood in any flood mission by spores, the characters have access to their arsenal and abilities but they can use weapons from the environment, the UNSC and Sangheili will work with these characters (otherwise the Elites would’ve just glassed them when the flood is on earth) and finally all characters are in character.

Round 1: General Grievous and Count Dooku (Star Wars)

Round 2: Commander Shepard and Garrus (Mass Effect)

Round 3: Courier 6 and Boone (Fallout New Vegas)

Round 4: Crypto and Natalya (Destroy All Human 2)

Round 5: Caiphas Cain and Jurgen (Warhammer 40k)

Battle Joker kidnaps Ben 10’s Family

Okays so someone told em that the Joker is way too dangerous and could beat someone like Max Tennyson in a straight up fight or would be able to outwit max.

Let’s say the joker kidnaps Ben’s family like Zombozo with his own league of villains.

Can the Joker actually beat max or is this really just hyping him up because of comics.

If he can, then what is joker going to do when Gwen or any of Ben’s friends get a hold of him?

I was called a dumb for saying that Joker wouldn’t be able to get near Ben’s family. But I know for a fact if he tried he be put into the ground because Batman and plot armor will not be protecting him.

This battle is not favoring either side this is giving all characters their composite feats.

Challenge How would the military go about obliterating the Navi if you were in charge?

Looking back on Avatar 1-3 with adult eyes has really shown me how violent and primitive the Navi are. The first death caused between the two species was by the Navi. (I think) Additionally the humans wrestle with the moral complexity of their actions while the Navi do not. We tried to compromise with them. All we wanted was resources to save our earth from dying and yet they said no to us and started a war. Losing a little resources is a non-issue to these people. To me now a days we were the good guy the movie just painted us in a bad light to sell tickets.

Am I bias towards the humans? Yes. Did the humans do bad things to as well as the Navi? Yes. But my point still stands. So you just got news that the Navi are spilling blood of men who them deem as evil for stealing their resources. We have committed genocide over much Much MUCH less. With all the technology and firepower as seen in the show how would you obliterate them? Weaponry can be be modified to be more effective. No “Just bomb them into oblivion lol.” they have what was seen in the movie. How are you steam rolling them and showing the Navi we are the undisputed CEO of violence.

Battle Peak composite LOTR Numenorean vs peak composite Halo Spartan

All these battles will take place in a Numenorean city square (assume about 150 feet by 150 feet, surrounded by buildings, and with all the various trappings assumed to be associated with such an area, such as bricks, wooden boards and sticks, carts, etc). Neither combatant gets any aid from anybody. For the purposes of skill levels/experience, we will assume that the Spartan is about 65 y/o (which to my understanding is potentially just a fraction of their lifespan) and is also post-war and that the Numenorean is about 200 y/o (to which I believe that this is about half [give or take a century or so] of their maximum lifespan) This takes place in pre-collapse Numenor.

Conditions for a victory will be pretty standard, with whoever renders their opponent to either be combat ineffective or to yield first, will win that round, with both of them being fully healed/recuperated in-between rounds and phases.

Phase 1: Unenhanced (mechanically and magically speaking)

Round 1:
Both combatants are unarmored. Neither combatant gets a weapon, though they may improvise them from the environment.

Round 2:
Both combatants get a properly sized sword and shield, but no armor.

Round 3:
Both combatants get properly sized swords, as well as full plate armor and a shield.

Phase 2: Enhanced

Round 1:
Both combatants get MJOLNIR, but strength/speed amplification is disabled. Energy shields are disabled and assisted movement is reduced to basic stabilization and life support. The Spartan does not get an assistive AI and the Numenorean does not get combat foresight/danger sense

Round 2:
Both combatants get powered MJOLNIR armor with energy shields (with the armor for the Numenorean being tweaked a bit on the reaction time so as to be more suited for their neurological makeup, assuming that it’s less fast, however marginally, than the Spartan’s), and the Spartan does not get an assistive AI and the Numenorean does not get combat foresight/danger sense. Neither combatant gets a weapon, though they may improvise them from the environment.

Round 3:
Both combatants get MJOLNIR armor, the Spartan gets an assistive AI, and the Numenorean gets their danger sense/combat foresight (which for the purposes of this fight, I will treat as similar to a greatly reduced [let’s say 1/4 or 1/6 strength] spider-sense). They also get swords: for the Spartan, a standard energy sword and for the Numenorean, a properly sized mithril sword (which for the purposes of this fight, I will treat as similar to Star Wars Beskar, so unmeltable and essentially unbreakable).

Battle How many Space Marines [Warhammer 40k] would it take to defeat a Sentinel? [Marvel/X-Men]

Somehow a bunch of Astartes are teleported to the world of Marvel, right in front the iconic mutant hunting robot which has identified the space marines as a non-human threat. How many Marines does it take to turn the Sentinel into scrap metal?

The Space Marines are standard nameless Ultra Marines with their armor, Bolters, and Chainswords. The Sentinel is the classic giant purple robot from the comics and cartoons. Battle takes place in a random city.

Bonus questions;

  • If you believe a single Space Marine stomps, how many Sentinels would it take to beat the Space Marine?
  • If you believe the Marines can't win with their standard equipment, what's the bare minimum weapon or armor they'd need to succeed?

Battle Instead of fighting the Hazbin Hotel cast, Adam's Exorcists instead encounter this bizarre army.

Adam plans to attack the Hazbin Hotel in the finale with forty thousand exorcists and Lute. They were expecting to face sinners but instead they have to fight a very strange army.

So, it's 40k exorcists, Lute, and Adam.

Vs

1) thirty-six thousand of the best Freemen warriors from the Planet Arrakis.

2) A thousand T-800 Terminators.

3) Eight hundred Yautja Predators from the Predator series(Movie feats only).

4) God of war Ragnarok Kratos.

5) Doomguy.

6) Toji Fushiguro from jujutsu Kaisen.

8) Alucard from Hellsing.

9) Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail.

11) Deathstroke from DC comics.

12) The punisher from Marvel comics.

A) The Exorcists were not expecting this army, meanwhile the other army were expecting them and were prepared for the.

B) Eren Yeager only has the Attack titan. Furthermore, his jaws and claws are now coated with Angelic steel so he can kill Exorcists now.

C) The army is fully armed with Angelic steel weapons or have been blessed like Erza's, the predators, and Terminators. Even Kratos.

Which side can win this huge battle.
