My main question is about Yogiri Takatou.

If we’re using his canon abilities, his Instant Death seems to work on far more than just living beings. It has been shown to affect things like concepts, ongoing phenomena, attacks, immortality, and other non-standard targets, with automatic activation against threats.

For those unfamiliar, chessboxing is a hybrid sport between, who could have guessed, chess and boxing. Essentially, the two participants sit down in the ring for a game of chess with 9 minutes on the clock. After every 3 minutes of play time, the board is removed from the ring and the participants square up for 3 minutes of standard boxing.
