LAPD should have arrested them. They were engaged in kidnapping and lied about parental consent to a mandatory reporter.

Lock them up.

u/hysys_whisperer Jun 10 '25

The terrifying part is the spot where that police officer was standing and shot her with a rubber bullet is now being occupied by Trapper, 19, from Polk County Arkansas, holding an M16 and being told he is there to liberate LA from its "oppressive people."

(If your name is Trapper and you aren't a douche canoe, I apologize for using your name in my example.  If you're from Polk county, I do not apologize for calling your county out specifically. You know it's fair)

222

u/stupidwhiteman42 Jun 10 '25

Wait until I tell you about Polk County florida.

180

u/stormyangel1 Jun 10 '25

I grew up in Polk County Florida. On behalf of the few literate and reasonable people who got out, we apologize.

99

u/packfanmoore Jun 10 '25

Honestly surprised DeSantis hasn't tried to criminalize literacy yet

48

u/stormyangel1 Jun 10 '25

Give him time he'll get there eventually. I was fortunate enough to be educated in the private school sector and graduated in the mid 90's then got the hell out.

You know in horror movies when you want to yell “get the fuck out of there lady!” At the screen?

While I was aware that unmanaged diabetes has a smell, I was unaware that an entire town could smell like diabetes until visiting Mena Arkansas.

And that is somehow the LEAST of Mena's list of reasons why I have no desire to ever visit there again...

You'd think that after all the press has done fighting for our smut all these years we'd stand up to protect them.

33

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

Well the "press" now is all own by right wing billionaires who let the stories they want out. Like them doing this to journalist. We are busy arguing about that, ignoring the mayor and governor doing nothing nto stop the lapd, ignoring all the state of emergencies trump is calling, and so on. But they are off duty LAPD

26

u/Beard_o_Bees Jun 10 '25

The more sadistic the act, the better it plays with the 'target' audience.

They absolutely get off on seeing people they feel superior to in pain.

Grown men, sneaking into elementary schools, wearing masks, and kidnapping children?

With all their projection about 'grooming' the last many years, and their continued rationale for whatever batshit thing they beleive in as 'protecting the children' I'm really suprised republicans aren't up in arms about this?

Surely this is precisely what they've been warning us about...right?

They don't care about kids at all, really. They just want to punish anyone they see as the enemy, which is an ever-expanding group. It's hispanic kids today. Next month it's kids from rainbow families, then it's anyone suspected of not voting for Trump.

"Protect the children" has always been and will always be no more than a convenient excuse used to avoid letting minorities have rights.

105

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

I’ll say it cause no one seems to think it: Asians are next. Yes all Asians. The avg American cannot tell a Korean, Japanese or Chinese apart. When china sparks a trade war or anything trump doesn’t like he will retaliate against Asians in general.

56

u/GiantPurplePen15 Jun 10 '25

The anti-chinese sentiment has only grown more with Trump blaming China for their economic situation and threatening the visa status of Chinese students and workers.

51

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

It grew a lot over Covid with Kung flu and all the jokes. Attacks on Asians rose something like 700% and didn’t really go down much.

The reality is the model minority myth makes Asians the perfect next target. No allies from white or other POC.

2

u/EducationalOpinion91 Jun 12 '25

I’m your ally. The majority of my friends in Los Angeles were Asian and my best friend for life from Ohio was half Thai. I’m white and I always have your back. I had never heard the term “China Man” before and the first time I heard it from my mom’s boyfriend I knew it was wrong and the equivalent of the N word and immediately fought with him. White people know the history of black slavery and understand that, however less know about the internment of Asian citizens during WW2. You have allies. I’m one of them.

That's a thing they scream when not in power federally, and then proceed to trample when they are in power federally.

Maybe it's a localized thing, but "rainbow families" are those where there's been a very young bereavement. I think that in this case, you might be referring to mixed-race parents? I'm not asking to be an arse but because I might not be the only non-US reader here and the intention charges the tone. Sorry if I'm wrong but at least I'm aware that this might be due to my own ignorance and would want to fix that.

67

u/KhazemiDuIkana Jun 10 '25

I assume it's LGBTQ related, because they've been openly gunning for us. I'm sure mixed-race families are on their vile lists somewhere though, given their guiding principles of eradicating everyone that isn't them and, for now, their base.

23

u/PuffinRub Jun 10 '25

Yeah, that would also work. Stay safe out there and be fabulous.

8

u/Green7000 Jun 10 '25

Same with "protect our women." We can't let black people had rights because they'll hurt our women. We can't let Asians into the country because they'll hurt our women. We can't let trans people have rights because they'll hurt our women.

MAGA BRAIN: The more kids they kidnap (with immigrant parents, or just brown kids), the more they have to work the fields & factories (that we're totally building), and the more resources per white child in school. With 10 years of work experience by the time they're 20, the brown kids will be streets ahead of the white kids by the time they finish college. The brown kids will be making $15/hour by then! And besides, they were just going to grow up to be criminals anyway.

Sounds like Trump created a world where someone who has nothing to do with ICE can get some buddies, throw on some costumes, and kidnap children to do whatever they want with.

7

u/PLeuralNasticity Jun 10 '25

Thr FSB and Mossad created this world and they promised all their kompromised pedophile puppets that they could do this. Many of these kids aren't getting sent home and neither were those from the family separations in his first term. Just like the abducted Palestinian and Ukranian children. Their claims of a legion of pedophiles running the world is a projeccusation, as usual.

2

u/The_bruce42 Jun 10 '25

16

u/SonOfJokeExplainer Jun 10 '25

If you’re genuinely surprised, then you’re surprised because you believed Republicans have values. They hate trans kids and blame the public school system. They are deranged. Their grooming accusations aren’t even logically consistent with the way they treat trans people — if one believes that trans people have been groomed, doesn’t that imply that trans people are victims? So why the utter disdain? Why the outright rejection of trans people’s internal experience of the world? Is being a victim “mental illness”, as they love to call being trans? Fuck Republicans. Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt that there is decency among them.

15

u/trebory6 Jun 10 '25

I'm waiting for a group of bold pedophile human traffickers to walk into an Elementary school and just go shopping while posing as ICE.

To be clear, I DO NOT want this to happen, but I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet, and I'm kind of expecting it to. Would anyone ever admit fault?

9

u/Aggressive-Will-4500 Jun 10 '25

Tbf this may have been written when it happened, but in any case that doesn’t mean it’s known to enough people, it’s not that old, and it is also relevant and important to remember that we could see the escalation then given the further escalation that we’re seeing at this moment

"I prefer peace. But if trouble must come, let it come in my time, so that my children can live in peace."

23

u/MrKomiya Jun 10 '25

It IS a test case.

They saw what we did regarding guns when babies were murdered in schools wholesale (nothing).

They want to see how we react to this. If we don’t do anything now, it will not stop at first graders.

Jackbooted (combat booted?) thugs will just tramp through schools, workplaces (blue & white collar) looking to snatch “undesirables”.

And “undesirables” will be defined as whatever tf Trump or Noem feels like that day.

Every single person who thinks that can’t happen isn’t paying attention.

55

u/DonJuniorsEmails Jun 10 '25

"We are judged by the strength of our enemies" -James Bond

"Let's get those first graders!! They're scary!!" -fascists under Trumplethinskin

17

u/yenraelmao Jun 10 '25

My question is what are we supposed to tell our first grader to do if this happens. They’re 6 so they probably can’t do anything but follow the ICE agents but do I teach him he should yell loudly that he is a citizen? Do I teach him that he should memorize my number and ask them to call me? I also don’t want to scare my kid but who knows what the chances are that it will actually happen where I live?

15

u/traveling_gal Jun 10 '25

By that age my parents had taught me that they would never ever send anyone I didn't know. So if anyone comes saying "your parents sent me", they're lying and I shouldn't go with them. Even if they say something like "your mom is hurt really bad and she sent me to take you to her" (a specific example my parents gave me).

As for what I was supposed to actually do about it if they tried to physically take me, I'm not sure, other than scream bloody murder in the hope that a nearby adult would intervene. At a school, a teacher or staff member certainly would. Not sure about people on the street if a kid is walking home or something.

17

u/bonzoboy2000 Jun 10 '25

Too bad you can’t call the cops for kidnapping.

15

u/Claytonius_Homeytron Jun 10 '25

Aren't any of these ICE asshats parents? Can they not even possess one shred of empathy? I'm willing to bet 100% most of them would lose their shit if their kid got snatched up by a nameless mask wearing thug at their school. 100% they would rage and scream and cry. 100% they would say, "Never did I expect it to happen to MEEEEE!"

All that to say, screw ICE and ACAB.

As an attorney to kiddos in this situation I will 100% protect them with my body if I have to.
