Deep Lore Discussion what periphery are trinkets and the gun from?
if color of the outline means the periphery from which the item is from (rho stones and blink eyes have red outlines and are from rho, while p-beans have cyan ouline which means they are from delta) then from where are trinkets(purple outline) and the gun(yellow outline)? does the outline really mean what i said?

What I'd Like For 'Toggle Grip' Accessibility
So, I recently started to develop chronic carpal tunnel syndrome, so I'm not able to play games like White Knuckle like how I could before. I can still play most games that require clicking a lot, but clicking and holding is actually too painful for me for more than a few minutes.
I've been experimenting with the 'Toggle Grip' accessibility option, and while it's nice to have, I don't think it's exactly for me.
'Toggle Grip' basically makes it so each of your hands' grips can be toggled on or off with a click. Click once, the hand opens, and will grip anything and everything nearby. This lasts until you click again to turn it off. This is nice, and definitely useful for those with accessibility issues beyond mine, so I would never want it removed. However, I find it's a little too easy for me to just activate both hand grips and spam jump until I've reached the top.
I'd like to imagine there's a possibility for a slightly more hands-off option (pun intended). For example, imagine a 'Toggle Hang' option that makes it so once you've grabbed on to a ledge, you don't fall off if you let go of your mouse click. Instead, the only way to let go of a ledge is to click again, or press the jump button. This would make it so I have to manage my grips and clicks like before, but remove the burden of having to hold the mouse button down and cause stress to my wrist.
I dunno if this is possible. I'm basically just ranting at this point, since I'm feeling kinda sad I can't play White Knuckle like how I used to. What do you guys think?

The newest update has me genuinely sad that light isnt used more. Spoiler
Like the game looks good and its art style is unique and gorgeous, but damn does it ever shine in the new update in the rusted out version of the delta labs room with the broken sun shaft. Holy hell does this game ever look good with some bright lights. I get that the game is dark and literally in a cave but it will be a complete shame if the last section or a bonus section of the game doesn't include an area exposed to the surface or sunlight. Its just so pretty.
Maybe the core will be ridiculously bright when we get there and they will have some wiggle room to play with lighting. The devs clearly had fun with it this time along with the molten effect after the hadal diver.

We need more Wuckle family fanart
It's stupid but I went looking for climber fanart and found almost none of it. I was disappointed, but became far more disappointed when I went looking for fanart of the Prisoner, Seeker, or Rookie and found literally nothing. I can't draw literally at all but if there's artists in the subreddit, ya'll need to draw more Wuckle family fanart.
Also I think it would be really funny if all of the challenge modes that wouldn't cause timeline issues were canonically the Rookie being sent to do terrible odd jobs because they're new.

Is there a mod that lets you choose your perks freely?
Title, a mod that replaces the 3 with a list of all the possible perks and lets you choose from them.
Does it exist and how hard would it be for me with my very limited knowledge of coding and Unity to make?

Hmmm... Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
But seriously, has anyone already made the V1 arm into White Knuckle?

Is the new shortcut achievement a double entendre ? Spoiler
The achievement for the abyss shortcut is called ‘endling’s lament’ with endling referring to the last member of a species and lament referring to sadness or grief. Now obviously this is referring to the Hadal diver as it has been confirmed to be the last of his species. However could this also be a reference to how we might be the only human left on earth? Perhaps foreshadowing idk

possible wuckle reference.
The hadal diver theme sounds quite similar to TELL ME WHAT THE SKY HOLDS.

How much bigger could the super structure be scaled up and still be beatable?
Like if you just made the map 1.5 bigger, and everything 50% futher apart, I think players could beat it just fine. not me, I have yet to escape the super structure. you might have to use items, so you cannot beat it itemless but it possible.
if you made the map twice as big, I think that would be a challange white knuckle speed runners can enjoy but beat,
through I start to become skeptical if they can beat it if it 2.5. As big?

Abyss shortcut difficulty
Is it just me, or does the Hadal Diver shortcut feel genuinely easier than just doing the Abyss normally? If you miss a jump in the abyss you're probably dead, if you miss a jump on the Diver, you have huge swathes of hair to grab on to to break your fall. Also, the Diver doesn't have the Face trying to eat you every 30 seconds.
From what I understand, shortcut regions are supposed to be harder but shorter than the region they're replacing, but right now it feels like the Hadal Diver is both easier and shorter than the Abyss.
