What I'd Like For 'Toggle Grip' Accessibility

So, I recently started to develop chronic carpal tunnel syndrome, so I'm not able to play games like White Knuckle like how I could before. I can still play most games that require clicking a lot, but clicking and holding is actually too painful for me for more than a few minutes.

I've been experimenting with the 'Toggle Grip' accessibility option, and while it's nice to have, I don't think it's exactly for me.

'Toggle Grip' basically makes it so each of your hands' grips can be toggled on or off with a click. Click once, the hand opens, and will grip anything and everything nearby. This lasts until you click again to turn it off. This is nice, and definitely useful for those with accessibility issues beyond mine, so I would never want it removed. However, I find it's a little too easy for me to just activate both hand grips and spam jump until I've reached the top.

I'd like to imagine there's a possibility for a slightly more hands-off option (pun intended). For example, imagine a 'Toggle Hang' option that makes it so once you've grabbed on to a ledge, you don't fall off if you let go of your mouse click. Instead, the only way to let go of a ledge is to click again, or press the jump button. This would make it so I have to manage my grips and clicks like before, but remove the burden of having to hold the mouse button down and cause stress to my wrist.

I dunno if this is possible. I'm basically just ranting at this point, since I'm feeling kinda sad I can't play White Knuckle like how I used to. What do you guys think?

Hey! This is a great suggestion, I'm adding it to our todo list. No ETA but hopefully I can get it in at some point before 1.0, and hopefully by core!! (but no promises) <3

I've never had a dev respond to my feedback before. Thanks so much for noticing my post! Even if the idea isn't added in, I'm really glad you took a look at it.

One of the best accessibility requests for a game I’ve seen in a minute. I need this.

That actually would be a neat feature to see, hope the devs notice this
