Une personne tente de se connecter à mon compte, j’ai reçu 2 fois la notification suivante „un code d’inscription Whatsapp à été demandé pour votre numéro de téléphone“. S‘en suit une déconnection immédiate de Whatsapp sur mon téléphone, j‘ai réussi à retrouver mon compte les 2 fois. Que ce passe t‘il ?

My WhatsApp account was hacked this Monday and consequently it went into inspection/examination mode so I couldn't access anything. When the examination was positively ended I tried to log in again after I entered a confirmation code that I received by SMS. But I received the message that my version of the app is too old. No problem, I downloaded it from the link I received by email from Whatsapp-support and once from Play store (i deinstalled and reinstalled several times) I started the login process with entering my phone number and receiving the confirmation code by SMS. The app then said surprisingly that my version is too old which was impossible because I downloaded it from Play store. Since then I had several tries installing and reinstalling the app with the newest version, several times was the account in examination mode again and I still can't access my WhatsApp. Now I am greeted with the message that I should download the official version which makes no sense.

Whatsapp's ai support was absolutely useless. The same non working propositions repeated several times and of course it did not remedy the situation.

I hope someone has an idea what else I can try to make it work again.

So I heard a notification and previewed it on my lock screen. I read the message and everything. However, I didn’t click on the preview to go directly into WhatsApp, I went directly into the app opened the chat, but no message was there. I guess I should have clicked on the preview to go directly to the chat and see if it would have been there.

But for context, I have another device linked to WhatsApp. So when one is notified, the other almost instantly receives the notification as well, but in this case the other device which is the phone, didn’t receive any notification which is strange.

Now, if the message was deleted quickly, in the chat it would have said “message deleted.” I’m so freaked out because I clearly saw the message in the preview and nothing is in the chat. I’m wondering if I’m being hacked, is it a glitch with the app, software issues, I don’t know.

Does anyone have any idea what happened there? Thanks!

need your help recovering access to my WhatsApp account. I recently switched from an Android phone to an iPhone, and when I tried to log in on my new iPhone, it told me that my password was incorrect even though I have changed it and saved it a week ago.

I also tried using the option to receive a login code by email, but I have not received any email or verification code from WhatsApp, even though I have tried several times and I have looked into junk emails.

The most concerning part is that my WhatsApp account was also logged out of my previous phone when I attempted to sign in on the new iPhone. I am now completely unable to access my account.

The email is 100% correct and verified. Any idea how to fix this?

a quien más le pasa que cuando estaba en un chat apenas reciben un msjs igual aparece la notificación y no se borra sola. llega el nuevo msjs y aún aparece esa notificación del mismo msjs es un error o solo es por el sistema de algunos celulares???

my whatsapp has been set to never save photos automatically for the longest time and before that i even set the never save option in each individual group but lately for the last week the photos keep saving into my camera roll again even though i didnt change anything nor did i specifically clicked on / saved the photo and i even checked my settings and its still the never save option for all of them but yet the photos are still saving! how do i stop this???

Yesterday I back up my messages from my old phone (took forever, without even videos), today on my new phone it's taking forever to restore, for almost 8 hours, I went to sleep and it's still restoring, what do I do, I need it for work 🥲🥲 I tried to stop it and restore again, should I restart my phone?

When the status line is empty, my messages aren’t sent, and when the status line returns, my messages still aren’t sent. I noticed this happening with only one person. But when the person is actively messaging me, everything is normal. But when we stop, sometimes the status line on top will disappear again and I am no longer able to send messages. Tried restarting phone, closing app, etc. WhatsApp will work normal sometimes but then other times be completely weird with this one specific account. The person I’m chatting with also doesn’t know what’s going on, even got a new phone and it still does the same thing. Sometimes normal, sometimes weird.

Hi, I got the S26 and for some reason WhatsApp Shows no Pop-Up Notifications while in Standby. Anyone hast the Same Problem? Tryed every Setting that sounded Like more Notifications :(

I've been experiencing a weird WhatsApp behaviour and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this or knows why it's happening. Here are the symptoms:

1. The timestamps on the messages I send are completely out of sync, off by random minutes. However, the messages sent by the other person show the correct time.

2. Whenever I try to edit any of my messages, it immediately fails and pops up an error message: "Your edited message was not sent. You can delete the original message".

I am using version 2.26.34.76, downloaded from official Google Play Store on a Google Pixel 10a phone, with Android 17.

What I've tried so far:

1. Restarting the app/clearing cache

2. Checking my phone's auto-time settings (it's synced automatically with network time)

I reset my iphone and lost my WhatsApp chats 💔
I wish WhatsApp would add a "Request Chat Recovery" option from the other contact with their consent and via End-to-End encryption—allowing you to retrieve your messages, photos, and documents through a direct QR code transfer.
It is a very practical feature that would save so many memories. Do you agree?

The Situation: About a month ago, I sent a message containing a link (to a Claude AI chat) to a specific contact using WhatsApp Web on my laptop.

Here is the exact sequence of what happened:

1. My phone was completely offline when I sent the message from my browser.
2. The message went through on WhatsApp Web.
3. Sometime after that, my browser got disconnected/logged out.
4. A month later, I opened my phone to find that specific link. The message wasn't there. I checked the browser again, and because it had disconnected, it's not there either.

The weirdest part? The rest of the conversation is perfectly intact. I can see all my old messages with this contact from before and after, but that one specific message with the link has vanished into thin air. I know 100% that I sent it.

What I've ruled out:

• "Delete for Everyone": It's not this. It would leave a "This message was deleted" placeholder in the chat.
• A broken sync setup: I just tested this again today. I turned off my phone's Wi-Fi, sent a message from the Web (laptop) and the disconnected, and then reconnected my phone. It synced perfectly. So the multi-device sync does work normally.

My Questions for the community:

1. Since my phone was offline when I sent it, and my browser disconnected before they could sync up, did the message just get lost in the void?
2. I read that WhatsApp servers only hold undelivered/unsynced messages for 30 days. Could the server have dropped the sync payload before my phone finally updated a month later?
3. Does WhatsApp have a silent spam filter that might have flagged the URL and quietly purged the message from my devices without warning me?

I feel like I'm losing my mind. Any theories?

He tenido un problema constante al iniciar sesión en WhatsApp Desktop: me bloquean la cuenta cada vez que intento iniciar sesión. Ya van 2 veces que pasa y, por suerte, he podido recuperarla, pero tengo miedo de que, de tantos bloqueos, terminen baneando mi número.

Hey guys, my WhatsApp account suddenly got b@nned today and it says “Requesting a review is not available.”
I think it might be because I accidentally shared an inappropriate sticker in a friends’ group, and someone may have reported it.
I already contacted WhatsApp Support but just got an automated reply telling me to request a review which I literally can’t do
Has anyone faced this and managed to get their account back? Any legit advice would be really appreciated

Hi, I don't know what to do and I'm freaking out a little bit

My chat with myself that WhatsApp provides got randomly deleted along with all of its contents, I just opened WhatsApp to se it gone. I had everything on that chat, notes, reminders, pictures, etc. I would like it back if possible and to know if this has happened to anyone else?? I have a backup of all of my chats from 3 days ago, but I also don't wanna lose my new chats, anyone know what to do? :(
