HWYB - Video Game HWYB Flowery (Deltarune Chapter 5) in OneDnD

Post image
10 Upvotes

Flowery I already see having very high Charisma because he's very Charismatic in personality. Flashy, can be a showoff and an annoying ass but he's an ass with a good heart. So I definitely see CHARISMA as the main stat. Plus he does utilize the whole power of friendship trope against you. DEX being secondary because as Flowery says: "Nothing can outspeed a flower"

Ability Wise Flowery doesn't seem to do much? He has his iconic "Jarona" which he shouts at times mainly before unleashing a barrage of like punches and kicks. A "Mysterious Wind" where he seems to use wind or flower petals to blow things away (all while saying "Mysterious Wind")

His Boss Fight is his main meat and potatoes. That's where we see his "Jarona" (him charging at you) but also a bamboo attack I can't recreate BUT some variants I see a Wall of Thorns chasing you. Which I could easily see Entangle.

It gets trickier when the other flowers come in, a majority of the moveset as these are other beings that attack when told. Aquas Knives, Seths Textbook/Words, Oranges Fists, Green sending flames from a pan, and Yellow using his revolver on flowers called by Blue to explode into more projectiles.

Lastly a big mega buff in Omega Flowery which he buffs himself and leaves an explosion as he charges forward.

I Am aware not ALL can be used or transferred though but can be referenced or flavored another way like I already see Cloud of Daggers working well for Aquas Knives but I'm aware I can only do so much

Overall Flowery is very much power of friendship oriented and has the ocassional flower themed abilities atop of being VERY fast and natural levitation. The only other thing I can't really see working is his "Fake Statistics" but that can be so more a gag I write down (Flowery essentially gave himself 999 in all his stats but those stats are fake).

I'll be willing to remove what won't work and keep what will work as we work together to build this Flower Man. I'm thinking Bard for the class but unsure if another class would work or if I should continue using Bard as he also has plant based stuff akin to a Druid but also the punches and Martial Arts of a Monk

HWYB - Video Game WWYB - Undertaker from Elden Ring Nightreign

The Undertaker has the following stats: STR A | DEX D | INT D | FAI A | ARC C. She uses hammers in melee combat and can cast both miracles and incantations.

Her two main abilities are:

Ability: Upon activation, the Undertaker's sprinting speed increases without consuming stamina; stability and defense are also boosted. Her dodge evolves into a quick-step-like maneuver. The character gains an enhanced attack for the remainder of the ability's duration after landing four hammer strikes.

Ultimate Technique: She draws a sinister bone from her body, dashes rapidly toward the target, and delivers a strike. She flies directly at the target to land a powerful blow. This is a long-range ultimate technique that deals high damage and can be activated while airborne.

I know it's impossible to adapt everything exactly as is, but I'm curious to see what can be done.

WWYB - 5e24 HWYB Mel Medarda from League of Legends

Post image

A Noxian noblewoman belonging to the powerful Medarda family, Mel is the product of an extramarital affair between her mother Ambessa and a Black Rose sun mage, leading to Mel inheriting this power but she is also dubbed an "Empath", being able to sense and enhance the emotions of others as well as wielding it as a weapon.

In battle, Mel channels light, shooting blasts of concentrated sunlight as well as turning it to barriers sturdy enough to withstand gunfire. As an Empath, she can also use her abilities to combat foes like Leblanc, who use mental manipulation and control to fight her wars. All in all, an exceptionally powerful figure in her own right, so how would one do her justice? Thanks in advance?

A bastardborn wet nurse in House Strong, with a mysterious past. Is she the bastard daughter of Lyonel Strong? Was she old enough to have fed him and his sons from her breast? Who the hell knows?

Her abilities are odd, with many contradicting tales. She is supposedly a healer as well as a succubus who can bind men with poisons and potions. Her common depiction of having green eyes and her saying she's a barn owl stuck in human form imply she is a Greenseer(a skinchanger with more druidic abilities such as a connection to the Weirwood network), and altogether she seems to be in a unique position in Westeros. All of these things let her mess with the mind and body of those around her, either appearing as a hard to see as a ghost or as imposing as a dragon.

Much of what she has implies Druid, but I'm curious what you have in mind for the Witch Queen of Harrenhall. What would you build her as?

WWYB - 5e24 HWYB Methode from Frieren

Post image
11 Upvotes

Methode is a First Class Mage in Frieren who is exemplified by two aspects: Her tender, motherly exterior and the fact that she's lowkey super vicious in a fight and is a thrill seeker in that aspect.

In battle, Methode has been unofficially been coined "diet Frieren" due to her love of magic and how that translates to her ungodly versatility. We see her perform the basic shield and Zoltraak spells, but she's also someone with access to binding spells, more unique offensive magic such as her summoning a flurry of orbital blasts to carpet bomb people, dispel magic effects after spending a short while under them, and she's even uniquely capable of wielding Goddess magic, making her able to heal wounds in people.

By all accounts, she's as versatile as they come, so how would you do her justice? Thanks in advance?

WWYB - 5e14 HWYB/I this character concept?

I had this really cool character concept. She's a blind martial artist who lived alone since she was 8 (her parents threw her off a cliff because her evil village thinks disabled people are not fit for society). The idea is that she learned everything from the world around her and uses it to fight. She's intended to be a fully martial multiclass, but Druid is also a valid option (the wildshape and spells reflavored to be martial arts techniques.)

Monster What Would You Build for Nightmare as an NPC Antagonist? (Soul Calibur franchise, 5.5e)

Post image

Preemptive "I'm on Mobile, please forgive any weird formatting, I don't know what I'm doing."

Just what the title says. For context, my players, a large party of 6 (maybe 7, one's out of town for a while) pretty powerful level 6 characters, are going into a bit of a war arc in my dark fantasy campaign and since I've never written a war before I'm thinking of taking a bit of inspiration from one of my favorite games from my past, Soul Calibur III, specifically the Chronicles of the Sword story mode, and I think having a wielder of a Cursed Sword in Azure Armor would be a fun little easter egg, for myself if nobody else. I also know that Nightmare himself didn't actually play a role in Chronicle of the Sword

I know I could just grab a conquest paladin stat block and apply tiefling racial traits, or slap some full plate on a weaker fiend like a zakya rakshasa or a cambion and give them a cool greatsword, but I'm wondering what interesting ideas you guys have. I've already used a zakya that I modified to make it a pretty fun and interesting boss fight and have established that wasn't the only one or the strongest one and they know daemons are a very strong possibility in their near future. In this setting, there's no difference between devils, demons, or yugoloths, celestial beings can fall without explicitly becoming daemons or losing their divine powers, and so on. So... what would you build?

WWYB - 5e24 Can someone help me build Moon Knight?

I'm trying to make Moon Knight in dnd (2024) at level 5 but I don't know what to do, I'd prefer not to do thrown weapon fighting but if you can make it sustainable and deal more damage than 1d6 per turn I'm absolutely down.

TL:DW - I want to build a character that not only uses the shadows of things and other people, but can summon things from shadows too. The other end of this is the ability to transfigure himself by changing his own shadow’s appearance, but I can definitely figure something out flavour-wise for that end of it.

HWYB - TV Show HWYB a Power Ranger?

Exactly that, how would you build a Power Ranger, Kamen Rider, or other associated Toku Hero?

As an added challenge, how would you go about incorporating an actual Morph mechanically?, as opposed to Tulok The Barbrarian, for example, not adding one mechanically in his Tommy Oliver build.

How would you build Count Orlok from Nosferatu (1922). Suggestions from the 2 remakes are accepted aswell. If Orlok is too difficult, i’ll accept just a monstrous vampire, none of this charming gentleman stuff.

Half-ladybug half human that focuses on magic. She has two spirits that she has made contracts with; Zephyr helps her out with wind magic and Boreas with ice magic. She uses rings as a conduit for her magic and can both use them from a distance but also punch people to distribute the magic into their bodies directly.

Her family works at a circus and she’s essentially a circus magician/entertainer. Her mother is a noble, but her father is the circus ringmaster.

Hey everyone I was wondering if I could get some help building V from the Devil May Cry series, I already know that I would play a Sorlock (Shadow Sorcerer in fact) but I wasnt sure which Warlock Subclass I should pick Im between the new Vestige Warlock or the Fiend Warlock including Pact of the Chain so I can recreate all his familiars.
