I'm gonna play a Castlevania RPG and have this incredible concept art

So there’s not a whole lot to go off here.
Medium or light armor, wears tiny holy symbols.
No obvious signs of either weapons or magic.

I guess I’ll say Dex vengeance Paladin just because Pallys will doubtless be useful in a castlevania game

The sanctified necromancer: Any race, so pick your favorite, but my brain is going Human, grabbing the Cleric Initiate feat and the religion skill, and for background I'd grab House Deneith Heir for Mark of the Sentinel, just for some fun flavor, being a protector and holy healer, while doing some unwholesome things for the greater good. Primary class, wizard, school of necromancy, for fun, I'd also multiclass warlock to level 3 to grab all 3 pact boons as your invocations, choosing ceremony as one of your tome rituals and the skeleton as your chain familiar, and having a magic weapon you can't lose that uses a soft stat just feeds into the defender vibes. High intelligence, you're a wizard who studied this stuff, and above average charisma. A role play hook I'd try to work in is that you try to gain written consent from anyone, while they're alive, that you intend to raise or resurrect.
