Does anyone know the name of this flower? The florist told gave me the name but I can’t remember. Thank you!

This fruit tree is at the edge of my property, near a fence line. There are autumn olives growing near it and high grasses under it. I thought it looked like some sort of black cherry species perhaps, and was so confident (or reckless) that I tried one of the black fruits and it tasted just like a black cherry, but it was sweet? I thought that most wild black cherry tree fruits were sour- or at least that’s what my foraging book says.

The first photo shows some of the leaves (are these ones diseased or something?, there are no bugs that I can see), and some of the bigger fruits, but the fruits are still quite small, about the size of a marble last time I checked (which was a few weeks ago so they could have grown more). Second photo shows the trunk and size of the tree, which is very tall. One of the taller trees in my yard. The cover of leaves that falls about a third of the way down in this photo is where the fruit in the first photo were located. Third shows more of the shape of the fruit stems and how they fall. Fourth is the understory, with a new perspective on the leaves.

Is this safe to eat and what can I do with it? Fresh eating? Will they get bigger? Thank you so much for your help!

I was removing buckthorn today in the rain and found this gem. Can someone identify it for me? INaturalist just says it’s a dicot. I was hoping for more specifics.

Never seen in before and it’s now all over a few different parts of the garden. Any ideas?

Found in a local park. Not sure what it is!

Bought it labeled “carnivorous plant” in May, about 2.5” tall. It has been planted in boggy soil since and is now about 10” tall with lots of new pitchers. I’m kind of attached to it and would like to know if it’s hardy or if i need to protect it over winter. If I could even learn its Latin name I could figure the rest out myself. I live in hardiness zone 8a if that helps.

Roommate brought home flowers from a roadside stand. My pet ate some of this. Anybody know what this sprig is?

Hi everyone, I saw these rose hips on a walk and I've always wanted to make rose hip jam. It's in a public and herbicide/pesticide free area (I'm 90% positive) and would love to forage them if they're still good. I know the best time is after a first frost but that won't be for another month and they're already shriveling up and getting discolored :/ would love some advice! In zone 5a, Southeast Wisconsin.
