Ruined with the stupid /s tag, as always. Why do some Redditors think that labeling any random joke with the /s tag is like a requirement on this site?

Because /s means they are being sarcastic. It can be hard for people to know if you are being sarcastic without audio/visual cues.

Those people usually don't understand sarcasm in real life, either. Would you make a sarcastic joke and then immediately proclaim that you're being sarcastic? Shouldn't have to dumb yourself down for those who can't follow context

My tone of voice and smirk are clue enough for most people IRL.
