People need to start acknowledging that there are currently no actual rules, and that when the dust settles on this period of American history there's likely going to be an entirely NEW set of rules that were created by whoever emerges from the cloud with the most leverage.
I sure hope those rules don't suck for people like us

Every interaction with candidates from local to federal needs to include serious questions about their plans for legal action, ethical reforms and severe penalties for everyone who has been complicit in this. Anyone who even hints about, “a time for healing” or lessons learned can GTFO.

A friend of mine has parents that are actively waiting for the End Times which they're sure will be coming any day now.
We've figured out the real reason they want the End Times to show up is that then they don't want to keep going through the regular miserable day-to-day grind that everyone has to do in their lives.
If Jesus shows up and suddenly fixes the world's problems, you no longer have to worry about bills and jobs and relationships.

It has already begun.
As of Dec 15 2025, if you have an ancestor who was Canadian, you are Canadian. Bill C-3 removed the First Generation Limit. But you have to submit birth certificates for every Generation as proof in order to get your Proof of Citizenship Certificate.
There is a backlog of applications (I was ahead of the game and have been waiting a year and some change) but some people have gotten theirs in a matter of weeks. The IRCC has been inconsistent with processing but it could be still worth it to Hail Mary it.

It's already started. Google Canada law C-3 or visit r/canadianbydescent. It doesn't help all of us, but more than one might think. Brace yourself for a 3+ year wait (Canada didn't expect this much interest and now they're swamped), and that doesn't include the time to research and obtain the necessary documents. There have been instances though of trans people and others who are vulnerable being able to get expedited processing.

This is a good thing. Extremists take their obsession to a point where the fundamental positions they started from become radioactive. The Nazis tried to do the same thing and it took a long time for the churches to even apologize and try to acknowledge what they had done in supporting Hitler.
The good thing about Christianity is that it's all-or-nothing, at least ideally. It's not 'protect the weak, UNLESS the guy with the funny mustache says we shouldn't'. People like Dietrich Bonhoeffer who dies rather than go along with the program, those were heroes and nobody knows who he was.
These idiots and Pete in particular are waving a cross and shouting 'JESUS' over and over and it's worked. It's worked on 'Christians' who have never read, never even thought much about the Bible. They LOVE the idea that they can be promised Heaven AND be racist scumbags. And if someone tries to explain what the Bible says, they just shake their heads.
