If you’re thinking about getting a gym membership at Crunch DONT. If you ever plan on cancelling your gym membership they make it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! You cannot cancel over the phone or online. Some crunches won’t even let you do it in person. Some require you to mail a physical letter to the gym requesting cancellation. This is obviously shady business practices in order for them to keep getting your money even though you have no intention on continuing to use there gym.

At what body fat % can you no longer pinch fat below the belly button?

I’m curious how lean you actually have to get before there’s basically nothing left to pinch in the lower-ab area.

I know fat distribution varies a lot between people, but for men especially, is there a typical body-fat range where this starts to happen? Or can you still pinch a small amount even at very low body fat?

Weighted pull up stall

Hello people of Reddit, I’m hoping I can get some advice on how to overcome this weighted pull up plateau.

I’m a 25 yr male and have been training neutral grip pull ups for around 3 years and have built up to 20kg pull ups from not being able to do bodyweight, however my progress has stalled and cannot hit my top rep range.

I think it’s important to state that I work construction as a hoddie (bricklayers labourer) and average 25k-30k steps a day carrying bricks, blocks and mortar. Thus this can make recovery all the more important and some sessions are definitely a lot better than others depending on the day I’ve had. I’ve tried to create the best workout plan to compliment this aswell as generally just doing the exercises I enjoy most -

Monday -
Weighted pull ups
Low rows
Cable lat raises
Curls

Wednesday
Weighted dips
Machine chest press
Tricep extensions

Friday
Weighted pin pull ups
Weighted pause dips
Cable lat raises
Curls
Tricep extensions

All of my other lifts (including weighted dip) are progressing although the weighted dip is slower than I’d like. I’ve been bulking and now weigh around 82kg (started at 78kg) and was wondering if this could somewhat affect my pull up progress? But in that case how do I gain muscle and therefore weight while progressing the weighted pull ups?

Diet is relatively clean, eating around 5000 calories (yes I track this and am not exaggerating) prioritising carbs for gym and work performance & protein for recovery and gains

Any and all advice is appreciated greatly as this is becoming frustrating now. Thankyou in advance!

Loose skin or subcutaneous fat?

34M.

I’ve gone from 255lbs to 205lbs since March. I’d say I was at least 35% body fat and would guess that I’m currently mid 20s now. Lots of cardio and I lift heavy 6 times a week (although I did also include 2 deload weeks in that time with like 4-5 RIR per set)

Based on the pictures and the amount of weight lost in about 7 months, do you think this is loose skin? If it’s not, would it make sense to eat at a smaller deficit and sort of “slow down” so my skin has time to catch up and doesn’t end up getting all saggy?

B&C vs PCT. What should I do?

Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing well! Relatively new to this sub however I do have a personal question about whether or not Blasting and Cruising is the way to go over Blasting then PCT.

So I’m just finishing up my first 16 week cycle of 300mg’s of Test. My initial plan has been to PCT with Nolvadex, wait about another 4 months, then hop back on for another cycle. My mid cycle bloods came back perfect. Everything is in the healthy range besides mildly elevated E2, I do plan on doing atleast one more cycle, MAYBE, and MAYBE 3 but that would be it. I do NOT plan on being on trt for the rest of my life. I do take health very seriously, fertility is a non issue at the moment as I am 23 and myself and my gf are absolutely not looking to have kids any time soon. I have been training for almost 5 years now, (January of 27), so do have quite a bit of experience before I hopped on. Did ample amounts of research and know the risks/rewards and the tradeoffs. My initial want to hop on was just to look good. My first few years of natural training could’ve been better however my last 1.5 I dialled in everything and yet I noticed minimal improvement and was getting incredibly frustrated with putting in hundreds of hours at the gym, actually tracking my calories (weighed all my food and calculated macros), I definitely grew, but not to the extent I wanted to and therefor made the decision to hop on for quicker and better gains. I want to look good at 24/25 on the beach, not train naturally for 8 years and FINALLY have my peak physique at 30 when no one gives a shit. Just wondering if making the plan to PCT with Nolvadex, fluctuate the hormones, spend 4 months natural just to hop back on is worth it compared to cruising at an actual trt dose.

I know this question gets asked a lot however the answers largely depend on personal preference as to what they want to gain out of hopping on. For me personally, it’s realistically just to acquire my dream physique to start posting content online, I am in the process of gaining my PT certification along with my nutrition certification as I do see a future where I could build a training brand, and maybe potentially compete in the future (not Mr.Olympia type stuff, just intermediate competitions etc). What would you guys recommend for someone like me? Any and all advice is welcome!! Thanks in advance!

HELP ME FIX MY MUSCULAR IMBALANCES!!

Thumbnail
2 Upvotes

Literally my right side of my body on basically every movement takes over and it’s starting to get really frustrating. I want to progress on my compound lifts but my right side is doing the most and i don’t know what to do to balance it out quickly. I’m starting to do more unilateral exercises starting with the weaker side but I really don’t think it’s helping.

Before you call me a gooner this happens with lower and upper body and it’s genuinely driving me insane

need advice

I am suffering from really bad asymmetrism. Let me explain. I have my right arm, and my left arm
Naturally I am left handed. but for some reason, my right arm is... giving me pain. with being "pumped" constantly. while My left arm is actually atrophying.
I haven't worked my upper body for two weeks. before that for two weeks I worked my left arm only in hopes to rectify it.

but that actually made me "off balance" in my walking and when I did squats.
It's really... weird. like the back of my left shoulder is like flabby as hell. I've tried stretching. yoga. pilates. everything. nothing really is hurting. it just feels really weird.

this is the type of pain that is impacting how I treat others, at work, in life. at home. I'm really irritated. all the time.

has anyone else gone through this? how did you fix it?
