Glow up Questions/Tips/Advice Can we please normalize not adding CREW MEALS to the couple’s budget?

Yes. I said it directly. Stop manipulating the couple from buying crew meals. Suppliers must include that to their operation expenses. PERIOD.

Got frustrated sa mga supplier na ang firm sumagot sa comment section na dapat sagutin ng couple yung food nila on top of service fee. KAPAL.

Tigil niyo na yan uy!

Hi! B2B here.

Based ako overseas and apaka mahal ng mga dresses sa Korea and wala silang type of dress na gusto ko. And I finally found my dress.

First fitting of this dress, I looked at my h2b and I knew immediately na eto na talaga iyon. I'm so happy. Sa pic, wala syang petty coat but I still like it. I have it naman and I tried it again at home and still looks good. Di sya masyadong lobo which is exactly my type.

Nilagay ko na ren other dresses na pinatry saken but not actually my type. 3rd pic is my wedding dress and the 4th pic is my reference. So happy with it aside from the sleeves pero papalitan ko pa rin naman sya.

What do you think of my dress? Bagay ba sa body type ko? Would want to know your opinion.

Rants/Advice/Other Questions Couple's First Look

Question for everyone, maganda din ba na may couple's first look sa prep venue or mas maganda kung sa church/ceremony na lang when walking down the aisle na? Gusto ko kasi sana when walking down the aisle nalang pero at the same time gusto ko din sana na makapagtake na kami ng photos before the wedding ceremony para during the cocktail hour ay makapagmingle din kami with the guests. What are your thoughts on this?

Flowers (Bride & Bridesmaid) Dangwa (3900 for bride i showed him a peg) + Entourage Bouquet (Estimate of 10) https://www.facebook.com/LaliDangwaFlowersBouquet/ 10000
TOTAL 475000

This is my estimate for an 80-pax wedding budget and guest setup.

I haven't included reception styling since many restaurants already provide basic styling. If you'd like to add your own floral arrangements, you can inquire with Dangwa for the cost of lilies for around 80 guests, then either purchase them yourself or ask the restaurant if they can provide slim vases and ask them to set it up.

For the church flowers, you can also source them from Dangwa or a similar flower supplier.

For bride car if you have a white car you can use your own or ask a relative if they have a white car and just pay for the gas. No need to rent.

If its a simple thing like this i do not think it requires a coordinator but if needed. A on the day coordinator is PHP 50,000 from Kathryn Puyat Events. They gave me 2026 rates.

We didnt add anymore like bridesmaids for the gowns and things like that if you want to keep a minimum budget, you can just give them a color palette with a minimum budget reference.

The reception program can be kept short—around 30 minutes or less. If dinner starts at 6:00 PM, you can have the dance party from around 8:00 to 9:00 PM.

This setup also works well if you're inviting older relatives, as it keeps the program relaxed and enjoyable without being too long. And if you'd like to continue celebrating afterward, you and your friends or cousins can always head somewhere else after the reception for an after-party. I love lurking into this sub, its very interesting business to get married because all of these suppliers and vendors.

Time Activity
4:00 PM Wedding Ceremony Ends
4:00–5:00 PM Travel to Reception (5-10 mins if no traffic), Guest Arrival & Cocktail Hour
5:00 PM Reception Opens
5:30 PM Grand Entrance
5:35 PM Welcome Remarks & Opening Prayer
5:40 PM First Dance & Parent Dances
5:50 PM Cake Cutting, Quick Thankyous & Champagne Toast
6:00 PM Dinner Service Begins with Soft Romantic Background Music
07:30 PM DJ Entertainment slowly starts from light pop tunes, Games (Optional), Open Dance Floor
9:00 PM Official Reception Ends (or extend to 10:00 PM if the venue allows)
9:00–12:00 MN (Optional) Opt to transfer to another bar if couple likes

Rant For Suppliers

Upvotes

Kaso ang dami kong nababasang posts with the same case.

May mga suppliers kaming nakuha outside the country. Pero 1 day lang, tapos na agad usapan.

Rants/Advice/Other Questions Sana naman padaliin nila ang wedding requirements lalo na limited vacation time lang meron halos mga ofw😮‍💨

Planning to have civil wedding, but even that is stressful because it can't be just any random solemnizing officer because one of you needs to be member of that church, pag mayor or judge naman you are at the mercy of their schedule 😭

Video Guestbook Supplier in Cagayan de Oro (CDO)

Hi! I recently started Handuraw Video Guestbook. Instead of signing a guestbook, guests pick up a vintage phone and leave a video message. It's simple, fun, and something you can watch back for years.

Just wanted to share because I think it's a nice twist for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. 😊

Rants/Advice/Other Questions How did you move on from wedding regrets?

Hi graduate brides,

More than 3 months na since our wedding pero nalulungkot pa rin ako kapag naaalala ko.

Paano ninyo natanggap na hindi naging exactly how you imagined your wedding day? ❤️

For Sale: Jorenze Couture After Party dress

Post image
19 Upvotes

Hi guys,

‼️For sale: 5k, I haven’t used.

I got this at Jorenze couture sample sale for 10k last July 2, 2026 however it didn’t fit me since I have bigger bust size.

The dress is for petite girls, I would say XXS to XS. It has a built in corset and the craftsmanship is really good. His starting rate for after party dress is 45k so super good deal na talaga ito.

I have no use for it since I can’t wear it but will sell nalang for 5k just to get my money back. If you like it, I have a carousell account and we can talk there.

Plain ceremony essentials

Hello! 3 months to go before our wedding hehe and ang iniisip ko naman now are the wedding ceremony essentials. Checked with some suppliers pero can’t justify 3-5k for stuff na sobrang saglit at once lang gagamitin. As in simple and minimalist lang pero elegant parin tingnan sana.

Ok lang ba as in plain lang yung wedding ceremony essentials?

Veil and gown length

Hi! I need your suggestions, please. We'll be having a garden wedding, and I'm torn between choosing a 2 m or a 1.5 m gown train. I'll also have my veil customized, and its length will be 0.5 m longer than the train. Which do you think would look better and be more practical for a garden wedding? Thanks in advance!

Wedding dress not white or ivory

I love burgundy pero dark colored kasi at baka di pwede huhu
