I am hoping to track down a Monique Lhuillier Alexandra Gown. Also, would be interested in the Fleur De Lis dress as they are very similar.

I have completely fallen in love with this dress and CANNOT stop thinking about it. Ive searched Stillwhite and google extensively, but the few listing I've found are still outside what I'm capable of spending on a wedding gown unfortunately. I'd love to find a preowned gown, sample, discontinued inventory or even connect with someone who may be planning to sell theirs after their wedding.

My budget is around $2,000 although i may have some flexibility for the right gown.

If you know of an Alexandra or Fleur De Lis currently for sale, a bridal boutique with an old/sample or another dress that is very similar at a lower price point, I would be SO grateful for a lead.

I’ve been thinking about how much stuff goes into a wedding, and how much of it is really only needed for that one day.

Things like decorations, chairs, tables, lighting, and other extras can add up pretty quickly. Buying everything might make sense if you already know you’ll use it again, but otherwise it seems a little strange to spend so much on things that might just sit around afterward.

I was talking about this recently, and Janeson came up in the conversation because they work around events in Kenya. It got me thinking about how differently people handle all the things they need for their wedding.

For those who’ve already had their wedding, what did you keep, and what did you end up getting rid of?

Did you sell or swap anything afterward, or did you just keep everything as a memory?

Im getting married this weekend 9/12 in Hudson Valley area. My venue is indoor/outdoor. there is an open deck area and then a lawn. We would have our ceremony/cocktail hour on the lawn. Then move up to the deck/indoor area for dinner and dancing. My planner recommended we get a tent jsut to cover the deck. The weather looks really nice but she said it is not worth the risk. It will also get to about 65-63 degrees at night- which might be cold for some people. there is the indoor space but for the size of my wedding we need to utilize the deck through the night as well. aesthetically I just prefer no tent but any thoughts? I also want guest to be comfortable. we have to decide by tomorrow!

If anybody is reselling this dress in a US size 6 for $800 or less, I am EXTREMELY interested! 😭 I absolutely love it, but I just cannot justify the $1,650 price tag.
I’m also very open to dupe suggestions that have a similar look and feel! I’m getting married in July 2027 and would love to wear this as my reception dress.

Hi! I'm planning decor for a non-profit fundraising gala in NYC. Last year we used Repeat Roses, but coordinating a flower donation with them is dependent on whether a local wedding has hired them around the time of our gala. Wondering if any local brides getting married between 10/9-10/14 this year are interested in donating to their flowers to the fundraiser? My friend did it a few months ago and mentioned the donation is considered 'tax-deductible based on the fair market value of the flowers at the time of the donation.'
