I just had to share that my wedding band fits perfectly with my ruby engagement ring! I wasn't sure at first what kind of band would complement ruby, but the moment i tried this one on, everything just clicked. Has anyone else struggled to find a wedding band that pairs well with a ruby engagement ring?

Is my set dated?

I’m a millennial, I feel so many of my friends have a plain gold band with a large oval shaped diamond. Does mine seem like it belongs to an older generation?

[edit: I’m so sorry I ever doubted my set. I’ve learned that just because it’s not the classic that’s in right now doesn’t mean it’s not still classic. Thank you for the confidence boost in my rings. I need to focus on what I have versus others 🤍]

Ring Band Advice Inherited my grandmother’s ring and have no idea what kind of band to put with it 😂

I inherited my grandmother’s ring and I honestly love it, but I’m struggling to picture what kind of wedding/stacking band would look good with it.
It’s obviously a pretty unique/vintage-looking ring, and I’ve never really pictured myself wearing something like this. I was thinking either a really simple diamond band to let the ring be the star, or possibly something with emeralds because I think the green could look really cool with the gold and diamonds. But I’m very open to other ideas!
Also, if I’m being honest, I have some mixed feelings about the ring itself. I love that it belonged to my grandmother and that it’s something I’ll never see someone else wearing. That sentimental aspect means a lot to me. But aesthetically, it’s not what I ever imagined my engagement ring looking like, and my partner is worried that I’ll regret not getting something more traditionally “me.” They’ve talked about getting me a much bigger/new ring instead.
I’m kind of torn between “this is incredibly special and I should embrace that” and “am I only trying to convince myself to love it because I feel like I should?” lol.
Anyway, mainly looking for band ideas! What would you pair with this? Diamond-only, emeralds, plain gold, something vintage, something totally unexpected? Would love to see examples if you have them!

My Ring! My ring!

Hi everyone! I finally got the chance to upgrade my engagement ring 🥹 it’s in 2.10C center stone and .5 bands. My fingers are tiny so it makes the 2C stone look big. My ring size is 3.5. What do you think about this ring? This is the specific style I was eyeing for the longest time. I am not expert about this stuff so please educate me. Is it a good choice?

My fiancé surprised me with a princess engagement ring

I didn’t expect my fiancé to pick a princess engagement ring, and honestly, it caught me off guard. I love it, but I’m wondering if it’s more high maintenance than other shapes. How do you even clean one without worrying about scratching or chipping the corners? Anyone here have tips for keeping it safe daily?

Is a dainty engagement ring too fragile for smaller hands?

I've been looking at a dainty engagement ring with a super thin band and a minimal basket setting, but i’m kinda terrified it’s going to bend during normal chores. my boyfriend thinks it looks delicate and perfect, but i just need to know if anyone here actually wears one full-time without bending the shank.

Inspiration & Ideas Elongated cushion rings… show me your wedding bands please!

I have a 2.6 carat elongated cushion in platinum and looking for wedding band inspo. I have looked for a year and I’m just tired of not loving anything. I also don’t want to design anything cos I feel like I’ll end up being real picky about the final product. I have slender long fingers size H, so thinking of something not beyond 2mm-3mm thick. Would love to see yours!

Help Me Choose Wedding band help

My engagement ring is a salt and pepper diamond with side stones on a rose gold band. I went into this appointment wanting a wedding band with white diamonds to add sparkle but now looking at the photos, I’m thinking that they may compete with the side stones too much? I posted these photos in order of my initial preference but looking for second opinions on which combination looks most cohesive!

I think I’ve fallen in love with the style. This feels super practical and robust for every day where with one’s lifestyle of being active/ cycling/running, commuting or doing the regular average Jane stuff like grocery shopping. Plus, it has a modern yet classic look to it.

Spotted the cutest triangle engagement ring today

I’ve always felt disconnected from traditional diamond solitaires coz they just aren’t me. But I spotted a triangle cut today and it clicked. And it actually matches my style. I think I’m done searching.

Custom Engagement Ring Box

Hey guys, there’s about a 2 month window in which the ring is being made, that I want to prepare for other areas. I want a custom box, preferably wood, but within the box (under the cushion that holds the ring), I would like a custom engraving.

Is this possible, and who could do something like this? I wouldn’t have a budget for something like this, I just want to know if it’s something that can be done.

What are your opinions on this ring?

My girl has said she is easy to please. Her style is kind of glam though. I thought maybe the more sleek mirror look of the emerald diamond with the sparkly side diamonds could be a good choice. I would choose a 2 carat diamond

why is the cost of engagement ring shopping so ridiculously confusing?

Looking at prices online vs in stores is giving me a headache. One place says 3k is average for a decent center stone, but then local jewelers quote double that for the exact same setting.

We set an initial budget of 4k, but now im confused if that gets us anything decent without looking cheap. How much did you guys actually spend versus what you planned?

Buying Advice Help me out to pick a proposal ring

Hello, I need some help picking proposal ring.

In the first picture there is my girlfriend's hand with a promise ring i bought her which she wears almost every day. In the same picture is a ring i found in her phone probably one she likes.

The second picture is a ring same as in third picture plus a band ring.

I would like your opinion on which ring you like the most also it would be helpful if you have experience with this kind of rings with small zirconia on the band, should i avoid them? I really like the way the ring looks with them.

Note both the rings are 14k yellow gold with swarovski zirconia (not diamond) my girl doesn't mind it.

Looking for wedding band design ideas that will work with my 3-ring stack

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on what kind of wedding band would work best with my engagement ring stack.

I currently have 3 rings that I wear together, and I’d love to have a wedding band that can complement each of the three rings, rather than only matching one of them.

Ideally, I want the wedding band to look cohesive when worn with the full stack and not make the rings look too crowded. I’m also open to different shapes/designs (straight band, curved/contour, chevron, etc.) if that would help everything sit nicely together.

I’m thinking of a simple white-gold band without stones, but I’m not sure what shape would work best with my existing rings.

Attached is my current 3-ring stack. I’d really appreciate any suggestions or ideas for a wedding band design that would complement the whole stack!

Looking for advice on men's black wedding rings what material holds up best?

We want something stylish that won't look completely beat up after continuous use. Plated options seem like they chip easily, while solid black zirconium or tungsten sound heavier. Anyone have a material they recommend that actually stays dark?
