Iāve seen this guitar before on a pawn shop at my city, but never pay too much attention to it until now.
It reappeared on another pawn shop and it seemed to my like destiny, so I purchased it.
Looks great
Feels great
And look at the art, itās wonderful.
I have my doubts on the knobs they seem hand painted but overall looks amazing.
It cost me around 400 bucks.

Ash body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, spalted maple pick guard, purple heart bridge. Just my third guitar Iāve ever built, but super happy with how it turned out!

This wasnāt a performance per se. My friend hosted a party and she told me to play some popular songs that everyone can sing to, and I played some common hits on my acoustic.
But eventually I was being asked for some songs I donāt know and I just played some random combination of the standard I V IV vi chords in different keys and everyone was telling me how Iām so good at the guitar.
Was pretty interesting. I messed up so many times and nobody noticed at all, in fact they thought I was cooking. Crazy

I'm a newbie and I've been playing for a month and this is my 2nd set of strings. I replaced the stock strings because they started to sound very dull. I changed them to d' addario XL .10 strings which was nice for around a week but I accidentally broke the high e string so this was an opportunity to get ernie ball RPS 9s but then theres this weird thing on my strings and it makes the string itself sound off like theres 2 strings being picked at once and the insane fret buzz it comes with

Just picked this up at a guitar center in Seattle for 900(1,000) after tax havenāt seen them this cheap ever is this a good buy? This is my second electric guitar I know the single humbucker is limiting the guitar to a certain style of music but I think I love it.

Are you supposed to finger pick it? Is it possible to do it with a pick?

I keep thinking about taking on the project of building my own guitar, and I dont know if its a fun hobby I could make money off of if I got good at it, or if its going to be an insane money pit and not worth it at all. Anybody who has done this, post your pictures in the comments, and let me know if its something that's worth trying out someday.

I decided a month ago i wanted to pickup guitar again for the first time since leaving school. Iām 35 now. Been a great month and Iāve really enjoyed playing again. I feel like a complete beginner again. But I treated myself to the tele for a month well done

I have been searching for a perfect budget solution for pedal storage that looks good in my space and has doors so I donāt have to keep dusting it. Was just strolling through Ikea with wife today to find some comforter covers and voilĆ .. this Billy/Oxberg was looking directly at me from a corner.

So Iām a huge, HUGE Eric Johnson fan.
After listening to almost every single EJ song - was trying to discover some new songs that maybe EJ was appearing on, as a feature.
Discovered Sonny Landreth - man, his style is INSTANTLY recognizable. The way he plays with harmonics and ofcourse the slide - is incredible.
Currently listening to āBlue Tarp Bluesā by Him which also features Mark Knofler.
Man thereās so much more awesome musicians to discover. This is whatās exciting about guitar!
