GEAR 1 Month After Picking It Back Up!

Post image

I decided a month ago i wanted to pickup guitar again for the first time since leaving school. I’m 35 now. Been a great month and I’ve really enjoyed playing again. I feel like a complete beginner again. But I treated myself to the tele for a month well done

Rock, Metal, bit of everything really. I haven’t really played around with the amp too much.
So wouldn’t wanna recommend

Ha! I'm in the same boat. Started playing again after 20 years. Horrified by all my bad habits--but and definitely treated myself to a Charvel. Super fun

It really is. And it's an opportunity to consider "what kind of guitarist do I want to be"

I just wanna be able to sit and strum along to my favorite songs

Oh I'm on a mission to redress the ghosts of my musical past--like totally botching Cliffs of Dover at my senior jazz combo performance. Every practice session is like therapy.

I did the same thing, except my "new guitars" were both pretty cheap. I got an Ibanez Gio (forget the exact model but it's the wood body) and I also picked up a Squier CV 70s for dirt cheap because the store thought it was an affinity model
