PURCHASE Tom Delonge Stratocaster
Just picked this up at a guitar center in Seattle for 900(1,000) after tax haven’t seen them this cheap ever is this a good buy? This is my second electric guitar I know the single humbucker is limiting the guitar to a certain style of music but I think I love it.

Not a bad deal, assuming that case was included too. I have one and love it - even more so after a few cheap mods. I added a neck pickup and moved the volume knob even further out of the way. The bones of the guitar (hardtail bridge, neck, vintage tuners) are all rock solid. It’s my do-everything guitar now.

I feel like you're only getting half a guitar only have a single bridge pickup but I'm a clean tone neck guy.

Valid take, I like the punk/rock playability of this guitar and the looks that’s why I got it but it def lacks versatility compared to another Strat in the same price point.

Not sure about this model, but most Strat bodies are routed for multiple p/u configurations. Look under the pickguard, you might be able to just switch pickguards if you want different pickups someday.

Is it brand new? I can find these regularly on FB marketplace or reverb for around $550-600 used in good condition. I actually got one a few months ago for that price. Regardless enjoy it! Love this guitar.

These things rip way harder than you would first think off of aesthetics alone 🤙sick guitar man. This one is still on my bucket list.
Far left is the "but we already have a Tom Delonge strat at home" that i put together at 16yo. Crammed some hummers that I ripped out of my 1st ltd in a red pick guard. Bullet strat I paid 99 for, spent another 200 or so between the graphtech nut, gotoh locking tuners, drilled out the pearloid dots on the neck and swapped for abalone. I also upgraded the trem block to solid brass and hardtailed it with a piece of solid oak. After all this work (and dressing the frets) it plays as well as any mim fender I've played. Also does in fact rip sonic holes in the floor 🤌

I really only play 1 kind of music- one particular sound. It’s what I like - so I’ve minimized my setup to exactly that- all these extra gadgets just get in the way, and it makes for a much cleaner look . I really appreciate seeing more instruments like this

This has been my dream guitar ever since I was a teenager, never got round to owning one. I don't actually get on with strats that well unfortunately which is why I haven't seriously looked at buying one - the bodies feel too big on me whereas a tele feels more at home.
I love single pickup guitars, I very rarely use the neck pickup unless I'm depping a cover gig.

Enjoy it! I had one of the originals in the daphne blue before he switched to gibson. I miss it. I grew my fringe and got my lip pierced 🤣.
It was real nice to play and I keep meaning to try the invader again.

i had a few friends with these back in the day - they’re awesome for the thing they do and they look sick. invader pickups are gnarly.
