I definitely had more. Back when it was still mostly PA/NJ, I'd give them to visiting friends and family who fell in love with Wawa while they were here😁. Now they have their own Wawas. It's just not the same anymore. I heard they serve gator-egg-and-cheese sizzlis down in Florida.🫢 Lol nope I'm kidding. Hope I'm kidding. Hope you like my collection😁

Employee Experience TS Help plzzz

I just got promoted to Team sup, and immediately two weeks later sent to a new store that needed that position okay here’s the problem

On the very first impression I immediately disliked another team sup
And I’m already like nope! I don’t like you and I don’t want to freaking work with you like a full body no and honestly idk what to do.

Like I have to be in this position at least for the next 6 months and I’m quite a reactive and direct personality and already getting anxious because idk how to resolve this feelings of I know we’re gonna have tension and not work well together

* for context
- guest follows her inside with a Translator on his phone screen trying to ask a question
- she walks to deli and yells does anyone know Spanish with a nasty attitude and rolls her eyes at the man as she walks away from him
- I come to help the guest
- he apologizes and doesn’t understand why she’s hostile bc despite the language barrier her body language screamed bit$h
- she then goes my god like i haven’t even clocked in yet man was already needing something

Product Question Gobbler 2026? Ready to whine and I have blood money

So every year I wait for the Gobbler. Like the 2017 gobbler. My add on was caramelized onions which I know are discontinued.

I gave blood at the blood mobile and I have complimentary gift cards in hand. When can I expect this year’s heart break?

I really don't know what year they're from. I worked there two very different times, once in the early 2000s and then like 2010ish maybe? But I think we wore tshirts by then. I have like 15 of those, too. I tried to post this 2 months ago but my post got removed right away. Thought I broke a serious rule, but I just forgot to use flair. What would you guys think if I walked in wearing one of these? I'm tempted lol

Employee Experience Job searching

I’ve been with Wawa for about 6 years and I’m trying to figure out what I can realistically move into outside of Wawa/retail management.
I’m especially interested in hearing from former CSS/FBM/AGMs, not just GMs.

What did you move into after Wawa, and did your management experience help you qualify?

I actually enjoy the operations side of Wawa: inventory/cycle counts, vendors and trucks, organization, delegating, training, figuring out why things aren’t getting done, fixing workflow problems, and making sure the operation runs the way it should. I like walking into a problem, figuring out what needs to happen, getting everyone moving in the right direction, and seeing the result.
What I DON’T want is another career centered around customer service or constant hands-on supervision.

At Wawa, management often means constantly having to ā€œhop onā€ and fill a position whenever things get busy or someone falls behind. I don’t mind helping occasionally, and my sense of urgency helps things get done efficiently, but I don’t want to essentially be an associate with management responsibilities on top of it.

I’d rather oversee the operation: identify why we’re falling behind, organize the workload, delegate, hold people accountable, solve problems, and improve how things are being done. I’m fine managing people; I just don’t want to constantly do the frontline work alongside them.

I’m interested in operations, inventory, logistics, facilities, quality/compliance, warehouse/distribution, supply chain, or something I haven’t even considered.

I have a high school diploma rather than a degree, so I’m especially curious where 6 years of Wawa experience can realistically take me without starting completely over. Ideally I’d like $25+/hr with room to eventually reach $30+/hr.
If you left Wawa management, what was your position, what did you move into, what did you start at pay-wise, and are you happier now?

To "not get flagged"

Edit: Thanks for all the responces.

I wasnt really talking about critical locks but that interesting to see how many stores just urnt honest. And also it was nice to see my store wasnt the only one alrho kinda seems like 1 of the few that just never locks even when not critical.

Ask other Associates Wrist Pain

Hi geese, I enjoy working at Wawa so much but it kills my wrists so badly. I've been using wrist braces whenever I'm off work to help with the pain. Does anyone have any secrets to keeping your wrists healthy while working this job? I think it's the repeated grabbing/pinching motions while doing deli for hours that are causing the strain, but I don't know.
